Traveled here for work over the past four (4) years. I enjoyed the staff being friendly and also being a trusted familiar face. I never drove so I cannot comment on the parking. Rooms are large. The carpet should be changed out with a hard floor. There is everything you need very close, great for a vacation or business hotel! Its right across from Habanos Cafe if that is your thing.

I have to start with the staff because they were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was tasty and had live music the night I stayed there. When you walk in it's very modern but the room is a little dated, they could use some updates. I would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for a week in late October, 2016. This was our third stay and the hotel remains one of our favorites. The room was very nice and the staff was professional, courteous, friendly, and helpful in all respects. We thoroughly enjoyed the Executive Club and the fitness facility, both of which are great assets for the hotel and excellent amenities for hotel guests. Special thanks to Maria, Karina, Natalie, and Diana who work in the Executive Club. These ladies are friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay great. They are great representatives of the Marriott brand because of the high quality way they treat hotel customers. We also enjoyed Ernestine in housekeeping who happily worked hard to make our stay a nice one. We got to meet Nelly, also in housekeeping, who we met during previous stays. She was very nice and, as always, very helpful and informative. Many thanks to them. We will stay at this hotel when we return to Panama City and will recommend it to everyone we know who travels to Panama.

My family and I have stayed here 3 times in the last couple years. The first 2 times were very good. This last time, our room was not cool enough for our liking. We would turn the temperature down but it would not seem to get any cooler. In addition, the toilet would make a loud noise for a while after flushing. I feel like the hotel needs to be updated a little. The decor, although nice, is somewhat dated. I believe they may be in the process of updating as the tower that has their executive lounge was closed. The pool area is nice enough but does not get much sun because of the surrounding buildings. The food in the main restaurant and the sports bar is always very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Most of them speak fairly good English. The current nightly rate ($127) is priced fairly for what you get.

Great place and location. Would have given 5 stars but their “taxi” service is a complete ripoff. And it’s just a normal car, not like a limo or something. Asked them to take me to the mall (11 minute drive) and they quoted me $16. I got in a taxi and that same trip was $3. I asked them to take me to airport and they said $39 (25 minute drive), got a taxi for same trip was $12. Pretty ridiculous. Rooms are very outdated but comfortable. Still, very old furniture and pretty beaten up. But the bed was very comfortable and everything worked.

I stayed at the Panama Marriott hotel for 11 nights between July 22 -August 2. I must admit I have been there before and never had any issues with the staff or the general administration of the hotel so I would have expected another comfortable stay. However, this last trip was exceptional with respect to how I was treated by the staff. I have to make special mention of Celine and Maria who happened to serve me the majority of days.They were very professional, responsive and alert to satisfying special requests. For example the first 2 mornings for breakfast I asked for green tea and told them (in a casual manner) that was what I liked to drink at breakfast. Surprisingly, every morning thereafter a cup of green tea was presented as I entered the breakfast area (Sometimes sitting down or just before). I also expressed a love for the carrot and banana cake and they never failed to ensure that as soon as I was finished with my egg sandwich and whatever else I had, I was given a serving of cake. Celine and Maria's service was commendable and indicative of the kind of service that guests anticipate when they select a chain of this kind for their stay. I hope the management will ensure these ladies are made to feel every bit as special as they made me feel and they can be certain I will be staying in the Marriott whenever I return to Panama.

The Hotel is not bad. But the xperience was not pleasant. My credit card was charged for no reason and when I demanded it be reversed immediately the service was not as expected. Much trying to explain the charge but action ti reverse it. I had to call my bank and request them to reverse the charge.

Great ambience and located very much central. I had used the executive lounge and it has been quite an experience. Loved the ambience and food. Excellent place and surely a recommended location for business meetings

Great custumer service. Food is excellent but in my opinion is pricey. The room needs more drawer in order to store clothes. Too small places to store cloths. Drawers are almost hanging and I am afraid it will fall off. Outside the building looks like has not been clean or painted for a while. Location on the safety side is hidden only people that needs to go to the hotel will be close.

Large rooms with sofa. We had a 2 hr. Breakfast because the food was so much and so good and it was all complimentary. There is shopping just down the street. A very good restaurant out the front door and to the right across the street. Yes! I will return.

It would be nice if the wait staff spoke English. The Friday evening band was excellent, but too loud to have a conversation in the dining room. 90% of the deserts were gone two hours after diner began.

I was most impressed by the staff and the way they cared for my needs and my 2 year old baby. I still keep a small letter written to me by one of the cleaning ladies who was extremely empathetic. I was moved to tears because I needed something positive that day!! I stayed in May 2018 and wrote this review November 2018.
