I have been to natural spice probably 10 times in 2 months. I absolutely love the cuisine and I’m not a vegan! I don’t miss meat at all when I eat here. What I really love about the food here is that the chef makes everything from scratch. No lab-made vegan meat. You are not going to find beyond meat or impossible meat here. Instead you’ll find burgers made with quinoa, mushroom, beans and it changes depending on what the chef decides! The salads, are out of this world! They are not only packed with flavor, but even the small salad is a big portion. The samosas aren’t always available, but when they are they are the best I’ve had and I frequently eat Indian. The vegan ceviche is made out of plantain, and I don’t know how he gives it a wonderful, ceviche taste but it’s a must try! Even the beverages are amazing! Sometimes special iced teas are on the menu and I’ve even had star fruit juice here. The chef really put love into the dishes and you can see it in the presentation. Garnishes and beautiful flowers adorn the plates. The best part of all of this is it’s affordable vegan food. Whenever my vegan friends want to go out to eat I usually know I’m about to fork out a fortune. This is the only vegan place I can come back to time and time again, because the price point is reasonable enough to. Whether you are vegan or not, you were going to absolutely love the cuisine in this tiny restaurant tucked behind the University! Highly recommended!

Found on a little tree-lined road by the University, Natural Spice is a hidden gem. The service and food are excellent. The owner and chef is very friendly and prepares your meal with passion and care and your health and happiness in mind. There is a full menu but my family always opts for the meal of the day which is always different and delicious. It includes a soup and fresh juice for only 6.50. We keep coming back for more!

The most amazing vegan food in Panama! The restaurant is unassuming because it’s tucked away but the chef and food was unbelievable! We ordered the plantain nachoes and two different burgers and couldn’t stop eating! The presentation was beautiful and the ingredients were fresh. Definitely might go-to spot when I to come to Panama! Everything here has so much flavor you can tell it’s been made with love and care. The salad is out of this world. I don’t know what’s going on in that dressing but wow! The burritos are ones that will make you think of the next one you’re going to get because they’re THAT good. The tamales are, delicious and unusual at the same time. Everything’s good so far. Definitely try the meal of the day, you will not be disappointed.

They also charged us more because of their error (they cooked us two double burgers instead of a double and a simple). The burgers were really good, but we didn’t enjoy the whole experience at all because of the awful service.
