The best dim sum restaurant in Panama. I had dim sum all over the world when I travelled, and this place is the best of my life even better than Hong Kong- the original town of the dim sum.

I have found the food to be consistently good throughout my almost forty years of being a customer. The dimsum is the main selling point. It is on par with the best dimsum restaurants I have been to in New York City. This place is historic for having been one of the most significant attractions in the city. I have to give credit for this place having been the largest and most popular Chinese restaurant for decades. A palace indeed. My childhood was spent here either eating dimsum on the second floor or attending special events on the third. Service has always been organized and fast. A well-trained staff. As for parking, there is a small area right under the building but it is always full. However, there is a large complimentary parking lot for customers just one hundred feet up the street.

Merely acceptable dim sum. Cold off the carts, not very good. Rice paper wrap quite thick. Still good Lau Bat Yip (tripe). Not great service. I’ll be back unless I find another dim sum parlor with carts.

Went there with 2 friends. Decent food. Reasonable price. Attentive service. But restaurant could do with some love and care. The inside decor is fine but their menu looked very old and tatty. We came in around 10am on a Wednesday and was seated immediately. Staff here are quicker than any dim sum restaurant that I have been to. We had tea and at least 7 plates of dim sum on our table within minutes. My mom asked one of the waitresses in Chinese for plain cheurng fun and they were able to make it for us. I think you have to order cheurng fun from the kitchen, as I saw another table doing it as well. There didn't seem to be any in the carts. They have all of the standard dim sum items and I quite liked the steamed ribs and siew mai. My mom wasn't a huge fan of the tripe because she said it could've been more tender, but we enjoyed everything. It all felt pretty authentic and the price was right. For the three of us, it was only about $30 including tip.

Good dinner. Pineapple duck was great. Honey chicken was tasty but too sticky.
