Seems craving for pasta has become a habit and #retrogusto in Boquete was just what we needed. The menu has all the favourites but with a twist. For example, the slivers of almonds in the gnocchi blended beautifully with the creamy sauce. Friends had the ravioli with lamb and again, a texture that matched the complementary flavours. Portion sizes were a little on the smaller size for all of us. Staff were excellent and very attentive. A few were tempted to try the desserts. As each dish came to the table, it was met with “wow” as they were beautifully presented. Another friend arrived and she ordered take away ravioli. Lovely atmosphere and kid friendly. Very nice Restaurant that has good service and great food for reasonable prices. We shared a starter salad, had both alcoholic drinks and a main menue and paid 47 Dollar. Also we did get some bread and water for free. For people coming from Europa, this Restaurant is very close to our European Standard of a Restaurant.

Restaurant recommended by an Italian friend definitely did not disappoint. It was absolutely packed on Sunday afternoon, so we had to wait but it was worth. We really enjoyed all different types of pasta and pizza. The kitchen is open so you can see the whole cooking process. I would advise to look around or ask the waiting person for daily specials, because we actually ordered outside of the regular menu, out of the blackboard and it was a great choice. Drinks were good as well. If I'll be around I'd happily pass by again.

We really enjoyed this spot. It is so quaint and homey. The truffle risotto was divine as well as all other dishes we ordered. Our party of 5 were all very pleased with their meals! Can't wait to come back to this place.

This so called 'farm-to-table' restaurant is situated at Boquete's main road. As there is lot of traffic the related parking-lot saves time. The restaurant itself is set up with warm wooden interior. You have a direct look onto the cook's stove and oven. The atmosphere is relaxed, the menu offers classical Italian dishes. We enjoyed mixed starters, as mains we had the wood-smoked pork chop, the dry-aged beef tenderloin, the home-made gnocchi with almonds and honey and the black truffle risotto. Each dish was cooked just on the point and the ingredients' excellent quality display their local origin. I couldn't tell, which one was the best, I am curious about the unknown options and day's specials. An absolutely reasonable price/quality ratio.

A beautiful restaurant, and wonderful food. The risotto was wonderful, the raviolini were delicious. Well worth a visit if you're in Boquete!

Incredible restaurant with delicious food, tables with a view out to the woods, attentive & friendly staff, and a great wine selection. The food was so divine I indulged in a 3 course meal and plan on coming back again before I leave Boquete. Highly recommend.

What more can I tell you about this restaurant? This is the place to be for a good piece of meat, chicken with great taste. And highly recommended!!! The nice thing was, as a Belgian, getting a glass of Hoegaarden with a Panamanian beer 👌🏼

We reserve for a group of 7 and every single person from our table experienced amazing food. On this day the wind was pretty strong and several places on the Main Street lost their electric supply, but this place has some sort of backup electric plant so we were able to enjoy a peaceful, delicious and nice dinner. Service was good, all the 7 dishes were served around the same time. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful restaurant, perfect service and very good food and cocktails. We had Pizza and Risotto after we had shared appetizers for two. Special thanks to Amilcar who did a brilliant job in explaining, recommending and serving us.

I had a lovely solo dinner at this very cosy Italian restaurant. The staff were very attentive and a great variety of food choices. They give you toast with oil and vinegar to start which is a nice touch. I sat out the back with a lovely view of the mountains. Highly recommend this restaurant solo, friends or family.

The food and service were very good, and the atmosphere was relaxed (the music wasn't too loud). My margherita pizza (with goat cheese added per my request) was delicious, and my wife liked her pasta until she realized it had carrots to which she is allergic, despite assurances from the waiter that there were no carrots. The flower infused parfait and almond parfait smothered in chocolate were great desserts.

Superb food and service. Not at all run of the mill. The food preparation was unique and delicious and beautiful. The ambiance was great too. Perfect night out.

This restaurant is almost perfect. Mouth-watering risotto. Good atmosphere. The service could be a tiny bit better but we had a great experience overall. Trust me and get the risotto.

Really well presented food and attentive service. The pizza was good American thin base style pizza (not stone baked sourdough as you get in Italian restaurants in Europe). They were very generous with the toppings and it was very tasty! The barata was the star of the show though. Incredibly creamy and a really deep flavour. I cannot however recommend the mint lamb ravioli, it was like eating toothpaste pasta. The spearmint totally overpowered any other flavour. The chocolate desert was delicious. Would return.

Came here on a friends recommendation, delicious food, no reservation needed and fair prices. Sort of Italian but not the authentic classics as I am used to in Italy. Still great food and amazing atmosphere

We had the special chefs menu for Valentines Day and it was very good. We had thought about just ordering steaks but we’re glad we chose the five course special menu- the food was so tasty, artfully presented and waiters were very attentive. We don’t often enjoy five courses so this was a real treat.such a good idea for a special night out. Highly recommended!

This is definitely the best restaurant in town with amazing food. Each dish is designed perfectly and it delivers. We ate there twice in 3 days we atayed in Boqute. The chef has won many awards deservingly so. But the price is very normal and not higher than other places in twon. The wine selection was also very good on the glaas serving. Do not miss!!

If you go to one restaurant in Boquete let it be this one! The food is incredible. We had one of the best mushroom soup of our life. The truffle risotto was exquisite and the gnocchis were fluffy and cheesy. The pizza was very tasty. The restaurant is nice, with a comfy vibe and has proper fabrics napkins (it was important for my dad). The waiters are lovely and presentation of the food is beautiful. We had the nutella calzone for dessert and it was amazing! Don’t hesitate to come here.

Amazing Italian food! Can't believe they have fresh buratta! Everything was fresh, pasta was home made. We're in Boquete for a week and we'll definitely come back, it was delicious!

Very good food and drinks! Owner David was very nice and friendly. Staff was helpful and good. I would recommend the Mahi Mahi and Steaks. Nice atmosphere. Would be perfect for date nights or romantic event. They only serve Pizza for dinner not lunch.

We love this place but especially the pizza. So far it’s the best pizza we’ve found in Boquete. You can see them being cooked on the wood-burning stove. But their other food is very good as well. I love the warm bread they serve at the beginning of a meal and the salads and pasta are delicious. On a nice day you can sit in the back part of the restaurant which overlooks the beautiful outdoor area surrounded by mountains.

Great great meal here. Everything we had was delicious. Amazing authentic wood fired pizza. We had pizza, pasta, the smoked pork chop and the roasted chicken. All were very good. I’d rate them as the pizza the best, then the pasta, chicken and pork chop. The pork chop is almost ham like as it’s so thick and smoked. Still very good but ya consider it more like ham than a regular pork chop. We would definitely go back or recommend this place!
