This is by far best restaurants in Playa Venao 😋 Everything that we ordered was good, but the Chorizo was the favorite dish. Food can take a while, so take your time and grab a drink. The desert, which was a Passion Fruit filled with cream, was probably the least favorite dish, and I would not order it again. Other than that, a must visit for dinner in Playa Venao

Really interesting architecture and awesome dishes

Despite being absolutely mobbed, we received very good service. The food was great as well. We tried the tiradito, the langostinos and the roasted vegetables. They recently moved to a hillside location above Eco Venao, and its perfect. Nice breezes and the large fan they have over the dining room keeps the dining area pleasant even if there aren’t any.

This was the only restaurant in Playa Venao that was worth eating at. I had fish, which was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The green beans were good, too. The prices were reasonable. It also had the best service of any restaurant I tried in Panama.

SPECTACULAR EVERYTHING! Food, service, atmosphere, creativity, everything! I hope they reopen after the pandemic.

Simple, truly delicious and unpretentious! This is a gem and worth the drive, even if Playa Venao is not part of your plans. Everything we tried was amazing and the portions are generous for the price. Don't miss this place when visiting the peninsula.

Panga is currently the best choice if you are looking for tasty, creative food with a local origin in Playa Venao . The location is directly at the beach, the interior is basic, yet modern. Overall an inviting atmosphere also the service is very variable.

Hidden Gem! Panga was one of the highlights of our trip! The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere fantastic. Be sure to visit this place before you leave Playa Venao, you won't regret it!

Excellent atmosphere very well put together unique menu

Excellent restaurant at Playa Venao, right on the beach front. Food was very good. We had a vegetarian dish and the giant shrimps cooked in coconut milk. Atmosphere there is so nice and enjoyable, highly recommended spot!!

Panga is probably the most beautiful and amazing restaurant I've ever been to. It's location is just fabulous; definitely off the beaten path. Consider yourself lucky to make your way to this part of panama, a true gem. The food here is opulent to say the least. The head chef is very talented and his dishes prove it. The ingredients are fresh and local and they even grow their own herbs on site. We were here for a yoga retreat so had the blessing of eating lunch and dinner here everyday. What an amazing treat.

This place is a must, we had a large group which allowed us to taste almost everything on the menu and every dish was equally as good. I’ll mention 2 stand outs, the tempura fish is probably the best I’ve had in my life. And then we ordered the pork shank that defied logic, super tender on the inside and the whole skin was crispy like pork rinds. Not even sure how the skin could be that crispy and not overcook the whole thing. We paired them up with French fries and a tomato salad just to get a break from the rice and it was the perfect combo. Spectacular, congrats chef Andres.

Penga restaurant was excellent with beautiful ambience in a jungle setting. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The meal was wonderful. I had the fish of the day which was red snapper (filet) and a mashed pumpkin side dish that was a perfect compliment to the fish. It was the best meal I have had anywhere. And the price was a bonus, very inexpensive.
