We enjoyed good time with their excellent foods. We ordered Fiesta Panamania that was several Panamanian traditional cuisine. We divided it with 2 adults and 1 kid. It was little bit small to share with three. So, we ordered more 1 plate. Then it was plenty to have made us satisfied. If you want eat Panamanian foods, El Trapiche is one of the best option in Panama City.

My husband and I shared an entree because it was our first meal in Panama as North Americans. We were delighted with the quantity and quality of the food we ordered. The fried pork belly had fantastic flavor! We could have ordered a second one. The desserts were also very good. Mango cheesecake and puff pastry stuffed with strawberry and cream cheese (much like a toaster strudel). I am including pictures of the menu which is in English as well as Español. We couldn't find it online. Many locals coming here. It is a challenge to get your check to pay. We spent about 1.5 hours here. Locals were faster to leave. Parking available out front. Quiet area.

We arrived after a couple weeks of vacation in Aruba. We chose to walk to the restaurant from the Waldorf Astoria. It was about a 30 minute walk which was very safe and pleasant the entire walk. The hojaldra was amazing. Wish we could take some of the masa back home. The coffee was the only item we didn’t enjoy.

Lived up to the hype we went for a quick lunch and were quickly attended to. It was a decent crowd and we did not have to wait long for our food. The waitress had great suggestions which we purchased and enjoyed. The Empanadas have a cilantro dip that I could put in anything. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a traditional Colombian meal.

The atmosphere was very inviting and the food was great. Service was a little slow, but not super slow. We were one of 2 parties at the restaurant. It was a middle of a Friday. It could be because they had just opened for lunch.

El Trapiche (The Mill) is a restaurant chain specialising in Panamanian fare in an upscale environment. I went here with friends ,and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and although I know that my friends played a big part, the meal and service were great. My meal consisted of tender bacon wrapped chicken medallions soaked in a divine sweet glaze, with a side of fries and a light salad finishing the plate. It tasted as gorgeous as it looked. I'm not 100% on how Panamanian this dish actually is, but I was too busy taking it all in to press anyone on the matter. Each of my friends at the table ( a mix of both locals and foreigners ) enjoyed the feast in our own little private room. Among the Panamanians at the table, the traditional soup was a favourite. I'd come back here.

Didnt expect it but there was live music and a dance around 730. We went on a Tuesday night and other than one big group, it was pretty quiet.
