Excellent sushi! Excellent atmosphere and friendly competent staff. The price is fair and the service is quick and attentive. Not only is the food delicious but the presentation is on point as well, you can really tell that the sushi artists take pride in their work, true culinary art. The tuna is so tender and flavorful, probably my favorite so far, but it's hard to choose an over All favorite because it was All so tasty. All around excellent experience. I highly recommend anybody looking for fine dining sushi to come to this establishment and be treated. Be sure to ask about their daily promotional deals, like free dessert with an entree on Mondays. We got the fried plantain with ice cream by recommendation, Excellent choice! Don't miss out on this gem, you surely won't regret coming here.

Attentive and polite service! So extremely unusual for Panamanian standard. No confusions with orders, waiters pace was rapid, another exception in Panama! Food was tasty, and plenty, drinks strong and interesting.great selection of food, and daily offers. Very surprising in general! Other restaurant and coffeeshop owners and customer care staff in Panama TAKE NOTES AND FAST, it's not that hard!

Nothing spectacular about this place but everything was good, not great. We had the fried shrimp appetizer, a truffle poke bowl, caribeño sushi roll, sangria, fried ice cream bc they were out of bananas (unsure how you could be out of bananas in Panama lol). The shrimp appetizer was good, there’s 2 sizes and we got the bigger one (glad we did bc that was tiny). The shrimp are cut up into small pieces not whole. Their sushi roll options all had cream cheese or smoked salmon or something fried, nothing close to traditional options and very heavy. The poke bowl was too heavy on the truffle oil and drowned in sauce. My sangria was good but not very strong.

Wonderful food and service. The best miso soup I have tried in Panama, and I have been to my share of Asian restaurants here and nothing compares to Tsugoi. Service is phenomenal. Sushi was to die for. I highly recommend it!

Such great food. Loved their ramen and even had their dragon roll. I would recommend for anyone that likes sushi and ramen. They have plenty of options, and their drink specials are awesome! Also dessert was exceptional. I would say save room for the cookies and cream roll.

The ramen I ordered a wooping 13.95USD. It was so salty, taste like msg. And they mandatorily charged tip even I didn't like my meal at all. Never coming back

As a couple, we have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Their miso soup is outstanding. The edamame is very good. The teriyaki salmon is very good. Sushi is great and a lot of variety. We loved the tuna tataki. They do tea serving very nicely. My wife loves their sake.

Nice decoration. Food was mediocre, service was terrible. They kept telling us it was coming and 50 minutes later they realize the order didn't register. Rude waiters.

Food was good, for “Asian fusion”. We had a series of appetizers and drinks - they all were prepared well. What really stuck out about this place was the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff. There’s not a single piece of trash in the parking spaces outside. Inside, spotless. A full mop setup came out when a couple of drops of soy sauce hit the floor when clearing a table. Menus are taken in the back, sprayed, and wiped over. From our table, we could see into the kitchen when the door swung open - floors were clean and dry. A complete departure from the norm of our experiences in Panama City. A well-run establishment.

Excellent food and staff, very clean restaurant. The food on the menu and monitor make you want to try everything. I chose this place because of the vegetation options. Highly recommend trying Tsugoi Asian Cuisine.

Excellent experience! Delicious food, and friendly server who spoke some English (which helped balance out our limited Spanish). They were able to adjust some menu items to make more vegan options for us (ask for the yakisoba with tofu!) and were great with our kids. We will be back!

Top quality food! Everything is delicious, attentive wait staff, family friendly. Go here, you will be happy you did. Photos are of the Weed Roll and Cookies&Cream Roll. Both were fantastic.

One of the better sushi restaurants in the city. They have a few other locations, but we like the San Francisco one because of proximity and quality of service. They offer good variety, use quality ingredients and deliver well sized sushi rolls that nets out to a good value, all things considered.

I liked the wide selection of sushi rolls and also enjoyed the pad Thai with tofu. Price is reasonable, and service was attentive. The menu has English translation which is very helpful for tourists. But the waiter brought an extra dish out even though I didn't order it. It was difficult to communicate in English and we were hungry so we ended up paying for it.
