Structurally speaking, the place is nice and the wood-burning oven gives a warm feeling of home when you enter, but the magical atmosphere created by the music and the crackling of the wood goes downhill when you enter and they don't welcome you, they don't assign you a table, each employee is doing their thing and you just feel invisible (and the place wasn't that crowded)... I say I should give them another chance... but then I remember that the dish requested, being the most common of all (oak burger), did not live up to the image projected by said establishment; I had to add salt to the meat, it was tasteless and the bread was a bit dry, the tomato saved the dish and well... if a simple hamburger doesn't make you fall in love... could it be that the other dishes on the menu will? ..maybe you should visit and find out, maybe you can tell me how it went and recommend a dish. What I can tell you is that the prices are moderate.

It's cozy restaurant and the quality of food is amazing.

The place is beautiful, the food is delicious, everything is made over charcoal, the service is very pleasant, everything is excellent. I will be back. Be careful, try the cauliflower with tahini... chef Avi Barak I paint every door and has stories to tell... I will be back.

The best food in the city. Fresh ingredients, perfectly prepared dishes, generous portions, good atmosphere. The bread is a delight.

Great service, great food! Specially the appetisers. Skip the lamb even though it's tempting to order lamb in a middle East inspired menu, our where hard and chewy it's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Chef brought some tasty items plates to the table even before the lamb arrived

My husband and I were staying in Panama City only two nights so we carefully chose which restaurant to visit. Wow we are so glad we chose Oak! It was an incredible experience all around: food, ambience, service.. but my favorite part was when Chef Avi Barak came over to our table to serve us personally and give us recommendations on the menu! We could really see the passion and heart put into the dishes he creates. We enjoyed and would recommend the white fish with risotto and pumpkin, the shredded lamb and yogurt on fried plaintains and the chocolate trio for dessert! This was an evening to remember. Thankyou so much to everyone at Oak who made our visit so special and to Chef Avi Barak: you are an inspiration.

Excellent appetizers and outstanding service. The raviolis were great too. Don't waste your time, and money, with the "imported rib eye"... not worth the $33.

Excellent place to go for a romantic dinner, with friends or family. The attention is very good. The food is incredible both in flavor and presentation, the size and quantity exceeded my expectations. It is a unique place.
