I made the mistake of coming here a second time. Equally good food at a fraction of the price can be had at dozens of more appealing venues in Panama City. A smalñ basket of bread was brought to my table without me asking, yet they charged me $3.50 for it. Wait staff were stupefied by simple tasks such as finding a table for a reserved party in an empty restaurant at 5:30 PM, or simply providing us with the menu. Because the interior spaces are quite cold, we asked to be seated outdoors. I was then told that the outside table were reserved, yet yet I had made reservations several days earlier. After waiting in the largely empty venue for more than 5 minutes, we were escorted outside to one of at least 6 empty tables. Some time later another couple who admitted loudly that they had no reservation was immediately seated outside near us. We asked a waiter for the menu and then waited for more than 5 minutes at our table. I finally had to get up and go inside to explain that we had asked for a menu but none had yet been provided. The cocktails were small and my daughter received a pineapple juice that was mostly foam. Please do yourself a favor and skip this horribly overpriced and vastly overrated restaurant.

Paid almost US$75 excluding tip for 2 entrees and a glass of regular wine, which would have been a reasonable price if the food was great. Not worth it in this case. If you like a formal setting and that's all you need this is the place to go, but If you are looking for really good seafood go somewhere else. The gentleman who looked after us was very professional though.

Dine at 'La Casa del Marisco,' the most upscale restaurant in Panama City, and your fellow diners will be some of the most prestigious and influential people outside of Club Unión... Presidents, both current and former, Assemblymen, CEO's, bankers, and lawyers are the 'regulars.' Service is as flawless as the seafood, and the hosts and wait staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The "pescado" is the finest in the city, prepared fresh, and plated meticulously (the Lobster Creole, being my favorite). Suit and tie attire for gentlemen is recommended, and table-side stands are available in case you wore your Panama Hat, for a night on the town! And a proverbial tip of the hat, to Panama City's finest... Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to my return!

We visited there for lunch. We did not know of the dress code so we were offered a solution to sit outside if we wanted to stay. This worked out well due to the FREEZING temperature inside. The weather was nice and we enjoyed the atmosphere as well as our food.

Heard great things about this restaurant from some locals. Was greeted by the door man and was promptly seated. Server came along and I explained I didnt speak spanish and asked kindly if someone spoke English. He stormed off quite upset. I could see him yelling at the door man for seating me in his section. Took some time to get another server to come over to us. Which is understandable. No problem. Once we clarified some quick questions about the menu we promptly ordered. Lobster mac and cheese was soo good! Loved it. Calamari was different than what I expected but tried it none the less. Was drowned in garlic butter, it was not appetizing. My wife had the grouper with onions and mushroom, she loved every bit of her meal. I had some too. The fish was perfectly cooked. I had the lobster creole with a side of rice. It was pretty good. Nothing to impressive.
