This is a Mediterranean food type restaurant. I've had seafood and steaks here and both options are very good. The staff here is kind and helpful. This is a place that has outdoor sitting and because it's located in a coastal area there's a lot of breeze going on most of the time. It is is a great place to go with family or friends, or even it is suitable to have a romantic dinner with a significant other.

Be careful with this restaurant, they charged me a different amount in the credit card, like 5 times the original amount. The waitress ask a lot of questions probably to make sure they can commit the fraud. Look for better options.

Great food. A little wait for large group, but the food quality and service was worth the wait, plus the prices are reasonable and the food delicious 😋

The restaurant has a lot of tables. In the front there are some fans that help to keep the place cool. There is a nice private view of the beach and the mountain in the back. The food is "OK", Not bad but either spectacular. The staff is really nice and helpful.

Excellent view of the city from Amador Causeway. Since it is on the ocean you get cooling breeze from both directions. All staff is very helpful and have a happy disposition. Parking may be a problem but they have person to help you with that problem.

Location is key and that's why we love this place. The food was good, our server, manager everyone was very friendly, making sure our meal was good and that we were having a good time. Live music was outstanding. These preformers are really talented!!

Always a pleasure to eat at Mi Ranchito. Love the whole experience. Nice view,service and food. Tried lemonade with hierbabuena,its amazingly refreshing in Panama hot/humid weather.

It took quite a while to get a seat and to be able to order. The food was ok. Price was reasonable. It’s a very touristy place that didn’t blew our mind.

Great location but service and food are average. We had a group of 10. Restaurant didn’t have enough English menus (yes, I know u come to get culture, but if you offer English menus print enough for at least one large group or several tables). Service was slow. No one really checked on us for drink refills. Food - small portions, food lacked flavor, underwhelming seems a great word. I’m sure there’s much better restaurants not far with similar environments (close to ocean).

The server was very attentive and friendly. We were never made to feel that we had to hurry up eat and leave. Very relax atmosphere. Would go back again.

We went here for the buffet style Panamanian over the weekend. The staff were friendly and the view was nice. A hot spot with hotels nearby. Expect a wait at the buffet line.

Good food. Reasonable prices (considering its prime location). Not very attentive servers (we almost forgot to place our entrees order and our server didn't come remind us if we were ready to order entrees). There was a racoon wandering around and may climb on to your leg to try to get food, it's hard to get him out of the way and he kept coming back, eventually our server helped to scared him away. Food took a bit time to come, portions were okay. Nice water front view.

Nice place to eat when you are exploring this side of city. Great prices and quality. I wouldn’t order orange juice since it’s freshly made. I think this counts for all juices.

We got margaritas and ceviche. Sitting under the tiki huts was amazing and the restaurant is right on the water. The ceviche was amazing, I would highly recommend! However, I took one star off, the margaritas didn't taste like they had any alcohol.

We've been visiting this place on Sunday mornings every time we go to Panama for at least the last twenty years. Local Panamanian food. Quality of the breakfast buffet has decreased and prices have gone up, too much for what you get. The choices on fruit are not much and not well stock. Fruit juices no longer made out of real fruit or at least not 100% like some years ago and toomuch sugar added. Service and atmosphere continues to be good.

I can eat here over and over again. This is definitely a go to spot. The food is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, staff is on point and the food is great. I have been going there for years and they have never disappointed me.

Very local restaurant with traditional food and friendly staff.. Everything we ate was perfect,good prices and delicious..Fresh fish and soups..It has everything..The staff helped us a lot to find a taxi because of the downpour..

Nice traditional food, lovely place and atmosphere however their service is really bad and slow. Be prepare to wait for ages and stand up from your table and get things done by yourself.

Love the sancocho and the rich coconut rice.

Food was very good. Live music full bar. I had the octopus which very delicious. Seating is outside which is nice. Walking jogging benches outside on a long strip which is surrounded by water with view of city

EAT. THE. SEAFOOD! I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of shrimp on my plate. The flavors were great, the view was amazing, and the service was on point.

Weird. We sat there from 11:20 -11:40 on a Sunday and no one would approach the table. When we finally flagged someone down, he said something about the buffet finishing at 11:30, but ten minutes later, still nothing. We left. Didn't look like anything too special anyhow.

Food was good, nothing special. But the reason it doesn't get more stars is we waited 30+ minutes to be seated and over an hour to get our food. We were a large group but it didn't seem busy enough to be waiting so long

Solid across the board. The place has great curb appeal, Latin music throughout the restaurant. I’ve been here a few times now and have yet to be disappointed. I like the vibe, the service, and food is good, just don’t expect to be blown away. Prices are compatible to other restaurants in the Amador area.

I live that it's a giant hut with mini huts on the side. Each mini hut is a table for 4, so awesome!

Service was excellent. Liked the selection. I had a delicious chicken lasagna which was a great sized portion. The price was also excellent. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the most hopeless and unhelpful floor staff I've ever experienced. You have to ask 4 different waiters for a drink, and then it takes so long to come, you meal had come and gone before you get your first drink. This has happened everytime we have been here.

I had the Corvina filets with Patacones (plantain) and fried Yuca (a native root that is like potatoes. Area was beautiful. Wonderful views of the Panama Punta Paitilla
