I
booked
this
place
as
it
was
recommended
to
me
because
it
was
dog
friendly.
I
did
not
catch
the
shuttle
to
the
airport
because
I
had
just
missed
it.
I
took
a
taxi.
I
know
I
overpaid
but
at
this
point
I
just
wanted
to
get
my
puppy
and
I
to
the
hotel.
But
I
cringe
about
the
price
now.
LOL
The
hotel
is
virtually
right
outside
of
the
airport.
It
was
less
than
10
min.
Maybe
less
than
5
min.
which
makes
what
I
paid
for
a
taxi
outrageous.
(I
paid
about
the
same
for
an
Uber
that
took
me
more
than
a
half
hour
away
from
the
hotel).
But
once
I
got
to
the
hotel,
I
was
relieved.
The
lobby
was
so
nice.
There
were
porters
who
took
my
luggage
and
put
it
on
a
cart
while
I
checked
in.
The
young
man
at
the
reception
spoke
excellent
English
and
was
very
helpful
on
several
occasions.
It
did
not
take
long
to
check
me
in
and
the
porter
and
I
were
on
our
way
to
my
room.
My
room
was
very
nice.
It
was
poolside
with
a
terrace
and
a
kingsize
bed.
There
was
also
a
television,
and
alarm
clock.
There
was
no
coffee
maker
or
microwave
but
I
am
not
sure
there
was
supposed
to
be
one.
There
is
no
bath
but
I
think
that
is
fairly
typical
here.
But
the
rainshower
was
so
relaxing.
There
was
LOTS
of
hot
water!!
A
really
nice
touch
was
the
bath
robe
which
was
soft
and
comfortable.
I
had
dinner
at
the
restaurant.
I
ordered
ceviche
and
a
salad.
Both
were
very
big
and
very
tasty.
Although
I
was
starved
and
everything
was
delish,
I
could
not
finish
it
all.
Breakfast
the
first
day
was
also
great.
Scrambled
eggs,
bread,
fruit,
cereal,
pastries,
potatoes
and
some
delicious
fried
pork
pieces.
Plus
coffee
and
juice.
I
really
enjoyed
my
breakfast
esp
the
pork
and
the
fruit.
Next
day
was
similar
but
they
had
steak
in
a
sauce
instead
of
the
pork.
Yummy!!
I
went
back
twice
for
that
and
took
double
what
I
took
first
time.
It
was
so
very
tasty.
They
also
had
some
fried
dough.
They
called
it
puff
pastry
but
it
didn't
resemble
any
puff
pastry
I
have
had
or
made.
Didn't
matter
because
it
was
GREAT!!
I
picked
a
bigger
piece
the
second
time.
LOL
The
coffee
was
okay.
Definitely
not
what
I
had
hoped
for
being
in
Panama.
But
it
had
probably
been
made
some
time
ago.
The
girl
who
served
me
was
sweet
and
kind.
But
I
rarely
saw
her.
No
check
in
to
see
if
all
was
okay
or
if
I
wanted
something.
I
was
okay.
The
pool
and
the
gardens
are
BEAUTIFUL!!
I
could
not
believe
how
beautiful
it
was
there
when
I
first
arrived
at
dusk.
Then
in
the
morning,
I
was
so
pleased
to
see
how
truly
magical
it
was.
I
was
awed
by
all
the
orchids.
I
struggle
to
grow
them
at
home
and
have
NEVER
seen
them
like
this.
The
gardeners
on
the
property
sure
worked
hard.
The
property
is
larger
than
just
the
hotel
as
they
have
a
paintball
facility
as
well
as
pickleball
courts.
There
is
also
a
small
playground
for
kids
outside
the
main
area.
I
would
see
those
workers
always
making
sure
everything
was
clean
and
welcoming.
The
reason
I
saw
them
probably
more
often
than
other
guests
is
because
their
work/lunch
area
was
close
to
where
the
area
I
could
take
Stella
for
potty
breaks.
They
were
always
kind
and
polite
to
us.
Even
when
Stella
barked
at
them.
Luckily
she
would
give
her
one
bark
bark.
There
were
several
cats
on
the
property.
Two
black
ones,
one
of
which
was
missing
an
eye,
and
a
beautiful
orange
and
white
tabby.
The
orange
tabby
enjoyed
getting
scratches
just
as
much
as
I
enjoyed
scratching
her.
I
miss
my
Pumpkin
cat.
I
guess
I
am
partial
to
orange
cats
but
this
girl
was
very
friendly
and,
I
think
she
was
pregnant.
I
really
enjoyed
my
stay
at
the
Riande.
I
eventually
moved
to
an
Airbnb.
I
would
have
stayed
but
there
was
very
little
to
do
in
the
area.
There
was
some
sketchy
restaurants
and
stores
across
the
busy
highway
so
if
you
wanted
to
play
frogger
in
Panama
City,
the
opportunity
was
there.
I
would
definitely
return
here
and
I
would
recommend
it
to
friends.
Thanks
to
everyone
for
making
this
a
great
stay
for
Stella
and
me.
