We were not given the balcony room we paid for, the room and sheets were dirty. There was hair under the sheets and around the room that was not discovered until the second day. Even after it was cleaned a second time, the room remained dirty.There was no hot water, and the shower was not constant. Villa Amazonica has never given any compensation, despite giving offers that were later withdrawn after leaving. The manager ignored communication regularly, and was unable to provide any level of adequate service. I was blamed for booking through Booking.com, see attached image. If I could advise one thing or prospective bookers, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! It is terrible value, it is dirty, and the staff regularly ignore communication. This is by far the worst hotel I have stayed at on my many travels. AVOID!!

Really great fun bar. It's on the rooftop and you can see all over. They have a DJ and a laser light out in the sky. The drinks are a little more than the other places around but it's totally worth it. I'll be riding a more detailed review including what I experienced in the hotel on another post.

I loved this hotel so much. I like the style and customer service was nice. They had a rooftop bar with a wonderful view of the city. Located in the heart of the Casco Antiguo. What a cool place to have drinks with friends and then stay at their cool rooms.

Room was a bit smaller than expected, and some lights did not work. It was clean, pretty much everything is white. Rooftop club was great, good crossover music. Drinks were a bit expensive but not crazy expensive, think $7-10 per drink. Beers were a bit cheaper, however I can't recall the actual figure. Overall a fun place to have a good time out with friends or solo.

Only came for the rooftop bar. Great time great mixed crowd. Area is pretty small but had a great time dancing and meeting new people.

I loved this place but ... it was loud from the restaurant below and the bar above. But they told me that up front. And that was not the problem. The location could not be better! The price was right! The service was good! But there was almost no hot water. And that is being generous. I loved the room too! I had a great stay!!! Conditionally highly recommended!!!

First the positive aspect: The roof top restaurant for their pizzas is top, but the hotel talanto roof top restaurant is even better for the view but also for the menu. The hotel room in the Gatto Blanco was a disaster: Cold and frey on selfmade recycling furniture is one thing, but the electrity light switches in each corner 7 of it - confusion total and then 5 lamps but only 2 lamps working. AC on and off outomatically. Room had know curtains and I could easely see my neighbour coming out of the shower - I didn't mind this, but maybe she did... The mattress was a cheap one and after I saw long black woman hair in the shower from the previous guest, I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in this bed. Plus the shower was cold water only! I called the reception and they wanted to take care of it immediately. After more than 30 minutes I called again and I was told that they would remembourse me, if I am not happy! Not really service oriented - it was already dark outside and it was my first night in Panama and they knew I won't find a hotel as it was already late and of course they didn't have another room. So after a serious talk with the manager, somebody came and brought me two additional lamps and did the most necessary thing. This all for USD 84.00 per night without breakfast. Excuses for the circumstance - Negative!

Had adieux a blast on this night. The staff were all super friendly and the rooftop bar provided an outstanding view of the old city. They had music and dancing at night but it started really late. The Dancing and party didn’t start until after midnight so if you plan on dancing make sure to go later unless you wanted to prendront or just hang out. They also have a good selection of nonalcoholic drinks as well.

Stayed here for 2 nights. There is a roof top bar open till early hours. Great if like us you like to party into the night. If you want peace and quiet then do not stay here. We loved it ❤

Nice staff and reception. Bedroom is cozy and features a good shower Attention. There is a bar on the 2nd floor which means this is not a quite place. The hotel is also located in a area full of night life which means a lot of people and cars on the street until late night. Good for a short stay and for those looking for vibrant nights!

Terrible experience with management of the hotel. We booked via Booking and they cancelled our stay via whatsapp and not via Booking the same day of the stay (Jan 31st) . Hotel Management was not willing to find a solution and we had to spend a lot of time with Booking to try to find a solution. I would recommend to avoid this hotel for your stay in Panama. There are similar hotels in terms of price with a great service in both old and new town.
