We arrived at the hotel at 12:30pm and were told to leave our car at the entrance; it would be parked by a valet. Then, we were immediately checked in by David (no waiting till 3pm!!!). He was very nice, super friendly, and even gave us an upgrade at no additional cost. While checking in, we were greeted with a welcome-cocktail. What a pleasant experience! Our room was big and comfortable, with a separate living/office area. The TV is situated on a swivel base and can be watched from the sofa as well as from the bedroom area. The bathroom is quite big; the shower has a much appreciated sitting corner, there are plenty of towels (even face cloths), nothing is missing. The lighting is well thought-out, the bedside lamps even have electrical outlets. Everything is nicely decorated and very clean, and all the staff is very attentive. The buffet breakfast could have had a few more items, but it was good. Last but not least, check-out is until 1pm!

Had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt hotel in Panama City. The room was immaculate and had a stunning view of the skyscrapers. The rooftop features a small pool and seats, perfect for watching the sun set over the city. The staff were warm and inviting as well as the tour guides available on sight. The cappuccinos and martinis were excellent. The room service was also great. Within walking distance you will find casinos, restaurants, malls and convenience stores. I would definitely stay here again, next time I visit Panama!

Rooms are spacious, facilities are good however staff were not very friendly. Only reception staff speak English but all other staff speak only Spanish which was a struggle for us especially in the restaurant as it was hard to understand the ingredients for the dietary requirements. Location was excellent and very close to a lot of restaurants and the metro station.

The hotel itself was good. Staff was professional if not super friendly. Comfortable bed, great shower and our second room was pretty quiet. I say this because our first room, a very nice upgrade, was on the side of the hotel that overlooks the disco across the street. Music and bass until 4AM - no thank you. I requested a move in the middle of the night and was accomodated. The new room was not as nice but at least it was quiet. Breakfast could have a few more options but other than that it was fine.

Great location downtown - walking distance to the metro & places to eat. Great service. They accommodated vegetarians & vegans well. Let them know in advance if you are vegan. The breakfast buffet is good. Nice views. Get a higher floor room. The pool is small so not very useful. They have a fitness room. Decent 24 hour menu to order from. They provide 2 bottles of water complimentary.

We had a great time staying at this hotel Room was surprisingly spacious with a stunning view. Well kept, modern and clean. Location was very convenient to get to most attractions in the nearby area. Breakfast buffett had a variety of delicious foods to choose from. Staff was always helpful and accommodated special requests, as well as provided recommendations on local entertainment, directions prices etc... Big Thank You to Manuel, who took exceptional care of us.

The hotel was clean and the room was comfy. We slept well. We got one bottle of water on the first day had to buy our own for the rest of the stay no biggy. The receptionists are not all welcoming. One lady of European decent was warmer to us. The others basically ignored us when we walked up to the desk. If they didn't speak English at least acknowledge the guest instead of looking at their computers having conversations with each other before even a welcome. They messed up the room numbers and we ended up at the wrong room where someone was already booked in. Luckily it was maintenance who opened the door because we couldn't get the keys to work. Hiccups aside. We had a great stay. Breakfast included not much to choose from but was okay. We are not fussy about food. The location is perfect as it's just a few steps away from the train station and just a few minutes away from major malls like the multi plaza. Food is readily available all around and the Inglesa Del Carmen is close by for photo ops. There are shops and stores close by in a more local area that we got food and drinks to stock our in room refrigerator. The train station takes you from one point to the the with Albrook mall being at one point Del Carmen is smack in the middle. Front desk aside I would return and stay here. We felt comfortable and not bothered throughout our stay. Didn't have any issues with the room so no need to call for help. If first impressions were it we would have made it spoil our stay but we believe in second chances so we pushed that aside and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It would be nice if we had a pamphlet of other activities that we could use other than tour desk which we didn't use though it was available in the lobby. Again customer service 🙄. Anyway as said I would stay again because of location and rooms and cost for money.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was super nice and accommodating. The room was very clean. The hotel had a cute rooftop pool. Centrally located so we could walk to different things if we wanted. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. I’m very happy with my choice to stay with this hotel. The only frustrating thing was the traffic due to their being a fire a few days prior to our arrival. Normally a 10 minute Uber ride to the local mall was an hour.

Bed was large and super soft, great nights sleep. Lack of empathy and understanding from one gentleman at the front desk rubbed me the wrong way. Breakfast had lots of options but was shocked at no breakfast meat to go with eggs. Location is in safe area. Restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

Very nice and cool refuge in this hot city. Near the University and the shore. Most of the front desk staff spoke fluent English and were helpful. Good breakfast may or may not be included depending on how you booked. Nice pool and gym.

The service was great! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was outstanding, impeccable and just like the pictures show. The pool is smaller than I expected but still has a great view.

Only stayed here for a short stay. The front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was pristine. Shower had great water pressure. The amenities were great. Beds are extremely comfortable and clean. They found my phone in the lobby and came up to my room to return it to me personally. They had great local advice as well.

A great location, with excellent service and accommodation! My stay was incredible, the staff very attentive, the facilities excellent, especially my room (incredible) comfortable, clean and a spectacular view. The location is super good, close to everything and very central. It has a roof terrace with a beautiful view. In general season, this is the place I would always return to in Panama, the price-quality ratio is the best!

Thehotel has changed it's name to MARINN PLACE Financial District. Very confortable rooms in the finnancial district. + Spacious room with a king size bed very confortable. There is a seating area with a sofa and a table, as a living room. Big desk with plenty of space to work. The area of the swimming pool in the roof is not big but it's nice. Free vallet parking in the permisses. - Breakfast does not have many options but it's still ok.

I had a great experience at this hotel when I stayed a couple nights in early October. Check-in was easy, the room was very nice with a good view (I was on the 14th floor) and included a mini fridge to chill water (which was needed for the hot and humid days I was in Panama). The rooftop pool is nice, although not large, but offers even better views of the city. It is very close to El Carmen metro station (1 block) and also easy for taxis/rideshares. The staff were excellent, especially Paola (I believe that was her name) who worked the bar and restaurant; she deserves a raise for her hard work and great service! I will definitely stay here again when I return to Panama.

This hotel is great. Excellent value, very clean and excellent service - I would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Panama city. Rooms are very spacious, modern and secure. Great rooftop pool and a good size workout room is also included. The hotel is located right in the core of the city with lots of restaurants and shopping located within walking distance. Free breakfast for members is also included, great food amazing value.

My first trip to Panama City. Spent 3 night at the Hyatt place downtown. The room was excellent. The food and service was excellent All the staff from the front desk to the house keeper the tour service guys in the lobby went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed and wanted. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels around the world. This was the first time I have not had one problem. I very highly recommend anyone going to Panama City stay here 👍👍

Very nice and friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, nice rooftop pool and gym, room were top notch and the view was awesome (I stayed at floor 11). I love that there were plenty of clean towels and the king size bed was super comfortable. Everything I expected from a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is located in a good, safe neighborhood and is close to a lot of restaurants. The room was clean but it had a little bit of a musty smell, along with the hallways. Also, the club next door does get a little noisy from time to time.

Hotel was good. Room was also maintained of super quality. They have provided everything that is required except Slippers. Only problem that i faced is food. Food was not provided as expected. Specially Indian food will be missed.

Great hotel! The rooms were really nice considering the pretty low price. The coffee maker and capsules in the room were also a nice touch.

No early check in, come back at 2:50 and they still wouldn't give a room saying it has to be 3pm. I did not notice any guests so I can't image rooms were not ready. Hyatt seems to have fallen quit a bit when it comes to service. As a former globalist member during my consulting days, this is really sad to see.

Good Centro location close to shops, restaurants, groceries etc. Front desk service not great or efficient. Rooms were cleaned and stocked well. Pool area towels were always out needed to call down everyday for replacement. Small pool. Expected better for a Hyatt hotel.

Nice room, except the shower door would not totally close and the grout needed some work. Beautiful views from our room and nice quiet room. Fun pool and deck on the top open to the beautiful weather and very scenic. Close walk down to the ocean

The rooms are nice - sitting area and two queens. If you are a Hyatt Passport member they really try to take good care of you. We received a nice welcome note and snacks in our room. The breakfast area is large. Snack counter is nice when you want something fast. We found the rooms quiet and clean.
