Aloft
is
a
boutique
hotel
located
next
to
the
Sheraton,
a
larger
and
slightly
more
expensive
hotel.
Aloft
shares
parking
with
the
Sheraton
and
has
a
modern,
urban
style
in
the
lobby
and
a
restaurant
called
"Red"
that
serves
fusion
food.
We
went
to
the
restaurant.
It
was
slightly
overpriced,
and
there
were
no
desserts/cappuccino
available.
It
was
around
8:30pm
and
there
were
no
customers
and
service
was
friendly
but
very
slow
that
I
actually
worried
that
we
were
ordering
outside
of
restaurant
hours!
I
recommend
the
wings
and
fries
from
the
XYZ
bar
menu.
The
parking
didn't
cost
me
anything
when
I
was
there.
I
got
in
and
out
without
any
issue
and
I
did
not
pay
for
valet
service.
I
didn't
have
the
greatest
of
views
from
the
hotel,
but
it
didn't
really
matter.
The
beds
were
very
comfortable
and
the
pillows
were
especially
like
sleeping
on
clouds.The
amenities
in
the
room
were
modern
as
well
as
the
decor.
The
large
shower
had
hot
water.
The
television
was
a
nice
flat
screen.
I
was
able
to
get
an
additional
trundle
bed
for
my
daughter
at
no
additional
cost.
The
coffee
maker
worked
fine
and
ice
was
available
in
the
lobby.
I
tried
to
call
for
room
service
to
get
additional
coffee
packets,
and
I
couldn't
get
through,
so
I
walked
down
to
the
front
desk.
It
all
worked
out.
A
really
nice
feature
is
that
a
"grab-and-go"
snack
service/convenience
food
was
available
in
the
lobby
that
allowed
us
to
get
some
microwave
popcorn
and
drinks.
It
was
$12
for
microwave
popcorn,
1
bar
of
chocolate
and
three
drinks.
Jenga
was
available
at
the
table
for
a
quick
game
play
to
pass
the
time.
It
was
a
nice
touch.
The
cappuccino
machine
was
not
working,
which
made
me
a
little
sad,
but
that's
fine.
I
would
stay
here
again.
The
pricing
was
fairly
low
in
comparison
to
competitors.
The
staff
was
very
nice
and
helpful.
However,
the
hotel
doesn't
have
any
ocean
views
available
that
are
worth
looking
at.
When
I
asked
for
one,
they
gave
me
a
ocean
view
with
a
large
and
ugly
building
blocking
it.
I
get
the
feeling
that
they
get
a
lot
of
customers
who
make
demands
that
make
the
counter
staff
quite
weary.
The
views
from
the
pool
area
also
were
mostly
disheveled
buildings.
The
pool
was
nice
and
big
enough
for
a
few
families
to
enjoy
with
easy-access
bathrooms.
My
daughters
and
I
enjoyed
our
time
at
Aloft.
The
restaurant
at
the
Sheraton,
Las
Hadas,
is
also
very
easy
to
get
to
from
Aloft
and
they
have
amazing
desserts
there.
I
would
recommend
eating
there
instead
of
Red,
the
ALoft
restaurant.
The
hotel
is
only
a
quick
5-10
minutes
away
from
Multiplaza
Mall--an
uber
would
be
cheap.
Atlapa
is
within
walking
distance
if
there
is
an
event.
We
also
really
wanted
to
visit
Cleo's
Cat
Cafe,
which
is
close.
There
is
also
a
coffee
bean
and
tea
leaf
nearby
and
the
famous
Isthmus
Brew
Pub.
ALoft
is
around
$30-40
less
than
the
Sheraton
and
is
a
nice
budget
alternative.
For
people
staying
at
the
Sheraton,
I
imagine
that
they
could
easily
find
free
parking
at
ALoft
instead
of
paying
the
Sheraton's
valet
fee.
