I was on a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair. I saw a light, it was this hotel. I HAD to stop for the night. I heard the mission bell, i knew this could be a great place, or a bad place. The lady at the desk showed me the way to my room, I thought I heard her say “welcome to the Hotel California” like in that song but i’m not sure. There was plenty of room, any time of year. There were mirrors on the ceiling, sort of odd. But pink champagne on ice, which was a new experience for me. Random person said that he was a prisoner there, but didn’t think much of it. They were so friendly, I ran for the door ( i was in a hurry) and the night man said “relax, be careful.” So nice and friendly!

Convenient location near plaza terraza for lunch, dinner and drinks ; and hostel 33 for inexpensive breakfast., as well as the supermercado Rey for groceries and pharmacy.; all about 1.5 blocks away (less than 10 min walk). It’s on a Busy so it’s not quiet in the room , and walls are thin so there can be noise of other guests . The hotel bar and restaurant is closed but they do coffee in the Morning for $1.50. The Wi-Fi is good . There is a small gym and jacuzzi style small pool with external shower on the roof. The room is basic & clean, sufficient for a 1 night transit. Provided are bath towels and soap bars. A shower mat would have been helpful to prevent slipping on wet bathroom floor after a shower . There is hot water in showers which is great . The windows are plastic shutter style panes and one was missing in our bathroom so we had to keep the door shut to prevent mosquitoes coming in. There is no view in the rooms either - but a view of the city from the roof top terrace . The neighbourhood is urban. It’s on the edge of Bella vista . The receptionist at check in was a little frosty at first but the morning receptionist was better.

It's a clean and non expensive place to stay. Easy to reach by Metro or bus from Albrook. 45$ a night , no breakfast included but for this price it's unbeatable. The R/S supermarket is 10 minutes to walk in a safe neighborhood. The restaurant there is good an inexpensive.

Price is right for the value and location. Staff are friendly and accomodating, e.g., they changed my reservation without complaint. Rooms are small and basic but clean. There are views of Cinta Costera and Casco Viejo from the rooftop patio where a plunge pool and a few treadmills provide diversion. The hotel is close to a metro stop (Santo Tomas) but crossing Calle 42 Este to reach it is a challenge. Nearby, a local foodie scene on Ave Central features several great bakeries and food stalls.

Clean rooms, No hassles, good location if you want a less touristy experience. Restaurant on location and less than 6 minute walk to barbershops, street vendor, bodegas, and laundry. I've had very pleasant exchanges w/most of ladies that work here.Hot water could be sometime-ish but It really is not that much of a bother to me.In two minutes after stepping out of Tocumen,I'm sweating and looking forward to a cool shower as soon as I get to the room. Rooms closer to Vía España will of course, encounter more traffic noise. And as in other hotels with noisy ice machines, request a room change if you get stuck next to one.Oh.. and reasonably priced.I'm about eighty percent sure if you call directly and reserve you'll get a better rate.

I've stayed in this hotel in the past. The problem is the location. It is very far from the downtown, and very far from the Cinco de Mayo area.

If you want a basic clean hotel room with air-conditioning but without all the fancy this is it. Great price, very friendly staff (as always), great location near major grocery store, parks, restaurants, near financial center and subway to bus terminal and airport to local destinations. Taxi to Tocumen International Airport available.

They gave me a very small room. I couldn't bring the suitcases inside the room. I vent to the check in desk and arguing and they told me this is normal room when you bookings online!!!! They changed the room but I was not happy with this room either, had to lift my big suitcases over the bed. Never more at this place, with this behavior!!!!

My room was broken into during my stay. Only someone with a physical key could have gotten in. And no cameras of course. Avoid avoid avoid

Horrible. They advertise wi-fi. It doesn't work. They advertise a restaurant. It is closed. They advertise a swimming pool... it's more like a hot tub that is not hot. The worst part was the smell... It smells like burning garbage in the hallways and in the rooms. Truly disgusting...
