Don't stay here if you want to sleep! Although their description says "This laid-back hotel in the city center.." it is now home to huge after-party scene. With a sizeable cover charge. They super loud techno rock (think booming bass) going until 5 am which makes it impossible to sleep. I moved to another hotel so I could sleep. Can't image how any guests could sleep. The infamous "Response from Owner" certainly indicates that they don;t read the reviews they get!

THE BEST Couldn’t have stayed at a better hotel in Panama City. The staff is excellent and a few front desk are bilingual while the others are able to communicate to an extend (I love that). The property is beautiful and picturesque. The breakfasts are great in the morning and it makes you wanna wake up early and explore the city. The rooms are comfy and cozy. Cable television (mostly Spanish), hot water, air conditioning and housekeeping comes EVERYDAY! The hotel is located very close to almost everything. A shopping mall right at the end of the street. Food places across the street and in walking distance. Makes it even better that taxi is so easy to get. There is a jacuzzi, pool, gym, restaurant and bar. My favorite part is that everywhere is ALWAYS clean. Definitely will revisit.

We had our family reunion here. Excellent staff all the way around. Great restaurant and bar. Very accommodating to our many needs. Loved Ginger the hotel cat. I'm glad we stayed there.

The hotel is close by everything. The front desk was really helpful. During the moment of mh stayed in here, there was an event in the garden which I find it pretty cool. Rooms were okay! In over all, good hotel

Nice people, helpful with local knowledge. Speak English as well as Spanish. Clean rooms, average price, breakfast included. No refrigerators in the room, but they will keep food overnight in their kitchen.

Great hotel all around. Very nice lobby, Greta pool and bar. Great customer service. The rooms on the pool/bar side maybe noisy as the bar is open late and music very loud ( even if your room on the 4th floor).

Decent hotel at average prices. A very dirty nasty pool that is very nice to look at but nobody should ever enter it. You would notice that detail instantly. Nest to the pool is a VERY NICE bar with both indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice and worth going to whether you are staying at the hotel or not. The food isn't so good though, bar food at 4 star prices.

A good hotel and a good location. The location is close to two of the metro which helps with getting around. There is lots of food nearby but most of it fast food. The hotel itself has a bar, gym, pool, old hot tub. It’s good value when you get breakfast included which is simple but all you need to get the day started. They have 3 hot items one is usually eggs. Then cereal, some cakes, and fresh fruit. There is also coffee and tea. The gym is simple and pool is nice. The rooms are a bit dated and ours had a damp smell. They had AC which is great and the beds are a bit hard but large. Bathroom is clean but small. All in all a good place to stay. I would rate it a 3.5 if I could but it’s not a 4.

This is the actual pictures of the place now vs the pre pandemic photos they advertise. The whole place is depressingly dark. Bring flashlight. Everything is closed except bar. Rooms are small, no central air.

Don't do it .. The good part is rather large room and pool.. The bad ones: filthy pool, no fridge, wifi and air con is very unstable as best. Very passive agressive employees..the pool is closed when there is party..and that is almost the whole time..wierd breakfast, everything was preheated and then served cold, very noisy hotel, you can hear everything, 12 people was in the pool, 1 pool towel available .check in was at 3 pm, we had to wait to 4 pm since the cleaning wasn't finished.. when we got the room it wasn't cleaned..

The hotel hall is renovated - and very tacky - and the rooms quite outdated. Bed is really comfy, tho. Some of the staff is friendly - not the long hair receptionist - and the pool is nice, but there’re only 6 chairs and you need to get there early if want to guarantee one. There’s no fresh water and no fridge in the rooms, which obligates you to buy water all the time and try to keep it cool in the small bucket of ice they provide. At least they don’t charge for ice. At least that!!! It would be a 3 stars review - and this place should be a 3 stars hotel, not 4 as they claim - if it wasn’t a major issue: the hotel thought it would be okay to rent all the outside areas to become a filming set with no heads up to the guests. When I first got to the pool this morning, there were staff and support actors all over, with no space for people who were actually paying to be there. After complaining, they freed up the space, but all the other areas were unavailable for guests. Besides that, who works in filming and advertising industry, as I do, know how a set is a huge mess with dozens of people around, cameras, lights, everything someone don’t need to have a relaxing day by the pool. During lunch time they put insanely loud music to relax the staff. Honestly, if I wanted it, would have stayed at a hostel. All of this, I’ll say again, without any notice to the guests, we just woke up and saw ourselves in the middle of a filming set - the last thing I wanted after a whole year working at those sets. It’s absolutely disrespectful with every guest and completely unacceptable that they didn’t even let us know it would happen during our stay. After breakfast next morning, what was bad became worse. My boyfriend arrived the previous night, and after serving the very small breakfast, which is enough for me, he ordered a couple of slices of bread more and they wanted to charge for it. YES, THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR 2 SLICES OF INDUSTRIALISED BREAD. I have never seen something like that, not even at the cheapest hostel I’ve stayed when I was backpacking. This place is absolutely outrageous and I would give zero starts if I could. There are plenty of other hotels around, so just find another one and avoid this horrible, disrespectful place. Hampton’s Hilton is right in front, has similar prices and I’m pretty sure is much, much better

As of 1:00am there is an extremely loud techno party outside. Turns out its hosted by the hotel. They did not feel the need to take care of or at least warn their own guests. Absolutely abysmal experience.

We were not sure where to stay but my wife liked the look of this place and the uniqueness it offered, plus the location was great. The first part of our honeymoon was spent in Panama City and we really enjoyed this hotel. The rooms are not bad but the "vibe" of the hotel and the amenities it offered along w/ the location made it great! Plus the breakfast was included in our rate, and they had plenty of options to order from which was a great value add for us. Above all was the great service we received specifically from Alexander and Gretta. Alexander gave us good information on places to see and helped me find a pick-up soccer game to play in which was very special to me to have the opportunity! Not to mention we had some concerns about a laundry service we had requested at a place down the road as it was supposed to be delivered by a certain time and it was not there yet. We flew out early the next morning and were very worried as it was after the hours when the laundry business is open. Alexander called the business and got confirmation they were just running late and would be delivered shortly. Very professional and we appreciated the way he made us feel like we were important guests! Gretta opened up a small bar area for us to watch a game we were hoping to see and again made us feel like we were special guests and important to their business. Thank you for the hospitality from everyone and we would recommend people to stay at this hotel.

I will definitely stay here if I come to Panama again. Anthony at the front desk is very helpful and speaks English very well. I think the air conditioners are in need of maintenance. Unable to control the temperature in 2 of the rooms I stayed in. The second one just quit altogether around midnight.

Great hotel. Just wish I had more time to explore the full hotel. They have a restaurant, a pool, a jacuzzi, a pool table, outside games, a fitness room/gym, and a beer garden.

This is a jewel in Panama City, it's well kept with a nice staff, management can improve in modernizing it and can easily become a five 🌟 hotel.

Employees at this hotel lied to me and stole my credit card information. They will appear to be professional but there are criminals working here. Please do not trust them, and don't believe the hotel if they attempt to respond to this. They will deny it, but multiple employees there have stolen my information. Stay at a different hotel.

Stayed there recently recuperating after an operation. Very comfortable room with twin beds which was useful since my wife could sleep undisturbed. She was able to bring me meals in our room and the housekeeping staff were very attentive and friendly. The TV was an essential and the coverage of the world cup helped pass the time. Oh, and my wife loved having a pool more or less to herself.

The first room we were in was very small and the AC did not work at all. The second room was just as small and required us to mess with the AC for 25 minutes before we could reset it and get it to work properly. The worst part was that a maid barged into my room with-out knocking. She didn't apologize in either English or Spanish and the front desk associate brushed it off as if it was nothing. He simply stated "she doesn't speak English." It's a pathetic excuse, she could have apologized in Spanish. We were already checking out that day, but I would not feel safe going back after this incident and the lack of response from the hotel. I would not be suprised if this is a semi-regular issue, being how non-chalant the front desk was about it.

This is the place when you go to Panama, it is on a stretch where you can find a variety of food and options for shopping. The price is very reasonable too and includes breakfast but honestly the breakfast is not great but everything else is

Great location in downtown Panama City without breaking your piggy bank. We stayed four nights and really enjoyed their urban theme and their breakfasts. The bar by the pool was also first class! Nice quiet rooms with BIG flatscreen TVs.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are very outdated. Don’t get fooled by nice pictures like I did. The lobby area is good though and the staff is very friendly. The pool is clean however at night time there aren’t many lights on so it’s kind of eerie going for a late night swim. If you can afford a nicer hotel do that instead. There’s one called the hotel, la compania which I spent a day at and it was amazing, highly recommended but it is pricy. If on a budget, this one will do.

Wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel, maybe in some other rooms... Very small room, with no decent ventilation system, only a blowing air conditioner, right above the bed which is unhealthy to sleep under. No minibar, not even a fridge actually. The bathroom has no light above the shower so if you shower in the evening you shower in the dark. The water take around 10 mins to get warm. The toilet was stained, rather old or wasn't cleaned well enough. The electricity socket is loose, which is unsafe too. The breakfast has also no vegan options, and being a vegetarian I ordered pancakes and got a chopped sausage with them which I found a strange combo. Wouldn't advice this place.

One of the staff members was incredibly rude. I reported her to the manager and she did absolutely nothing about it. They don't care about the few customers they have.

Large comfortable rooms, just choose the size and number of beds you require. Good parking, great pool and restaurant, very friendly staff, so all in all, very good.

This hotel deserves 1 star based on the treatment of the guests and the space provided that didn’t live up to the photos presented online. The building needs maintenance and the staff need manners

I love this hotel pretty cheap as well 66 bucks In a respectable part of town. Close to the shopping also the tourist spots. Pool gym bar

Great service is the landmark of this hotel. I don't know who designed it, but it is the worst design I have seen. You must walk up a dozen stairs to enter thd lobby. No ramp. No elevator. All bags must be carried up the stairs. There is no toilet in the lobby or restaurant. No toilet. You must walk outside and ho down stairs to the toilet near the sunken pool. The air conditioning unit sits right above the bed, so cold air falls directly on your head. Not comfortable. I dfpumd thd decor to be an eccentric use of different styles, none either any particular style or sensation.

Party location. Pool and Gym blocked during the parties, and you hear the music at full volume in every single room. Do yourself a favor and go to another hotel.

This hotel is quite good for tourists and vacationers. The hotel features a recently renovated (and quite interesting) interior with a nice hangout area and pool table. There is also a very good restaurant, a nice pool, a hot tub and a beer garden. The rooms are average, as they are very small. The air conditioning works well and there is a TV. The rooms all seem to have slightly different layouts and decor but the one we stayed in was quite nice and clean. The bathroom was very small but was still functional. The vanity area provided ample storage. The hotel staff are very nice and super accommodating. The location is good also as attractions are only a short taxi ride away. One issue I had was that the hotel's "beer garden" frequently holds very large parties/raves and they are very very loud and rowdy. Another issue I had was that the internet was on the slow side. I also would be careful about staying there in the summer months as the hotel hosts large school groups very frequently. There were 4 of them at our hotel while we stayed there and it was a bit loud and crowded at times. Overall this is a great hotel and I would recommend staying there.

I recently spent a few days with my husband in this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The area is very centric and close to the cool spots in the Panama. The staff was friendly, amazing, attentive, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The only complain I have is when we were checking out we witnessed an interaction by a female that appeared to be the manager with her staff. She was very disrespectful to her employees and basically belittled them for no reason. The staff was nothing but kind to her despite her poor treatment of them and took her abuse with grace. There is no reason that you have to belittle someone because you are in a position of power. A manager is a leader and leaders develop and grow their employees, not make them feel less and shame them in front of guests.

👍👍 I am in awe at the beautiful interior of this place. It is large with indoor and outdoor seating. The inside makes you feel like your on a foreign country.
