I booked this as a last minute stay. No idea how it is rated as a “4 Star” hotel on Google and on Booking, where I made my reservation. The hotel itself must have been built in the 60s or 70s, and has not been remodeled, renovated, or even cleaned since. The rooms immediately smell of mold and mildew. The furniture and linens are dated and not in the best condition. You definitely get what you pay for. And to be honest, spend a few extra dollars for a nicer hotel elsewhere. The only benefit was the location. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Hotel building and furnishing is a bit old. Room was spacious and clean. Wide windows. Bed and pillows are soft. Linen is smooth. Clean and spacious toilet and bath. With hot and cold shower but the hot water takes time. They have a restaurant with good food. Staff was friendly ans helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Cold showers and no wi fi. Also the pool is unsafe the tiles are not shaved properly and my child received cuts.

Worst hotel experience I've ever had. The employees are arrogant and unfriendly. The hotel rooms are a disaster. The bed was dirty and crumbly and when I complained about this, a new one brought to me, which I had to cover myself. At breakfast you have to wait very long time until the order and the only waiter Is obviously overwhelmed and apparently still working at the pizzeria next door too. Never again!!!!!!

Hotel has a good location with 5 minutes walk from via Argentina Metro station. Staff is helpful. Unfortunately, breakfasts weren’t tasty at all- every morning you get powder scrumbled egg or pancakes. There was no warm water- maybe you have to wait couple of minutes, but we weren’t too patient.

Good place overall. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool is really nice, perfect temperature. Service fantastic, they remembered us and gave us all we needed. The safes do not work and the bathroom door was heavy and did not close completely. Downstairs has a mini market and a restaurant with ggood food that opens early and closes late. It was great to have both!

The room did not have a writing table and a clock. The wifi was good. The food quality at the cafe need to be improved. The staff was friendly.

Rooms are with glass partitioned retro fitted bath. Air-conditioning is not upto the mark in all the rooms. The restaurant below doesn't have food options. Rooms dont have accessories like iron table and press. The packaged drinking water service isn't available in the room.

Very poor & simple hotel The Staff are not friendly at all, they are arrogant, poor service, poor amenities and no water during the day and the night. If you are looking for a nice place to stay, don't look at this Hotel.

In the centre of Panama City, this hotel offers the best views of the City. Impeccable service and food. Staff is courteous, friendly and very prompt with service. Place observes Covid protocol on safety. A walk nearby can take you into shopping zones as well as bustling city.

Affordable price but it shows in the low quality of the hotel. Front staff girl at night abrupt and rude. No running water during our stay. I’ve stayed several times in Panama before at other hotels in Financial area and they were good. But Grand International I do not recommend. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better hotel and experience.

More or less about the rooms and It is terrible about restaurant. Аt the reception, a cheap plastic bracelet is put on your wrist, which should distinguish you from the homeless who can come in a "restaurant" from the street! And they can actually go there because the restaurant looks like a low-end street food place.

Lack of cleaning, swimming pool walls are dirty. The division between room and bathroom is glass!!! Common!!! it looks weird and not nice. Towels are old and broken... not too bad, not too good

Place can look little scary at night but it is clean very comfortable the people is very very nice front desk the people that clean the place very nice I recommended give it try

The room was nice, but it smelled of mold in the air. Maybe a filter that wasn't replaced. It wasn't healthy to stay in the room. They then refused to refund the room until a member of the group who stays there on a regular basis told them to. Glad we stayed at the hostel instead. Much better experience and much cheaper!

Stayed for a week in October 2023. The location is the best thing about the hotel although the staff was also very good, especially housekeeping who made the bed daily. The beds and linens are ok and the bathroom and sleeping area are separated by a glass wall which is a bit odd. Mold/mildew smell is very common in these parts and even the nicest hotels will often experience this issue. Overall I might choose another hotel in the area if I needed to but I also enjoyed my stay here so I thought it was a decent value all things considered.

The overall experience is great, it's a good balance between cost and quality. The main issue is the amount of parking spots available, since there aren't many, there is no guarantee you will have one available for you 24/7.

Situated in an upscale middle class neighborhood, with some decent night life. Three - four stars for me.

Excuse of a hotel, no hot water, dirty rooms. Next morning it rained and the rain water seeped into the room. No one comes in to clean the rooms unless called. Not sure what sort of cleaning agents they use but it was hard to breathe. My second morning, as i was getting out of the shower with minimum cloths on, a lady with 2 kids barged into my room. Apparently, someone assigned a wrong room to her. I booked the room for entire week but fled after 2 nights because it was simply getting impossible to sleep without being able to breathe properly. It was worth paying extra for a livable place.

Location is beautiful. Accomodations is good. No playing space like table tennis etc. Swimming pool is there . Overall 7/10.

Good hotel with all the basic services and more. Helpful staff and a good location in the city. They have a restaurant and pool too. Rooms are big clean and great.

Very nice .. I only stayed a night because I got in town a night ahead of my friends and we all are staying in an Airbnb but i give this place 10 of 10.. location, staff, room etc. I would definitely stay there again and very well recommended.

I don’t know where the 4stars rating is coming from for this hotel, I would say it’s 2,5 the most. My guess it’s just the location that was more ore less ok for the area. I had a reservation with 2 beds, my companion could no make it to travel with me to see Panama, so I stayed alone. The room wa spacious but that is all. 1 bed was not even made as I checked into the hotel it was after 5 pm. Towels were missing, but after a phone call to the front desk they promptly brought them. There were only 4 wire hangers for 2 people in the room, really?! No iron to fix my clothes, I had to request it separately, no ironing table was available. Breakfast was lame, you can get better options outside for $5-7 The bathroom had no working exhaust fan. Walls we paper thin you can hear everything from the corridor and even some rooms across the hall, this led to quite entertaining evenings and nights, as some guests had little or no control over there verbal expressions 🤣 I would not stay here again

Hotel itself is good but its definitely a local party spot. People party from 8am at the pool until 6 am in their rooms and hallways. You can complain but the staff does nothing to stop it. I do not recommend staying here if you're a tourist.

No maintainance. Cost is too high. Food quality not good. Same food given everyday. They didn't give other menu card. Always have d same menu card though they have varieties of items.. Room service too bad in responding..

Room was clean, air-conditioning good. Due to Covid19, food delivered to room. breakfast lunch and dinner was very basic, but you can order carry-out from various places nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Water cool to shower in, no hot water in system.
