The hotel was fine overall, but I wasn't happy with it, and wouldn't recommend it. For starters, the price was a bit higher than advertised, maybe that was because of 2 guests, but no reason was given and I was too tired to bother with asking. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions. They offered advice on nearby restaurant and warned about the safety of the area late at night The room was clean and fine but this is where I'm not happy with the hotel at all. The AC unit just wasn't cooling enough. I called the front desk twice regarding the matter and after the 2nd call, they sent a technician to come look at it. The tech didn't take long, but he didn't really do anything to fix it. He just adjusted the settings which is what I had been doing all along. Well, that didn't fix anything and for my part I was too hot throughout the night and didn't sleep well. I would give the place another shot but I'd ask upfront for a room with good AC. Otherwise I would stay elsewhere.

Reading previous reviews...I was not interested to stay at this hotel; however, my agent convinced me to give it a try...she said her and her team usually stay here and its clean...breakfast is ok...ya know the usual....I was upset about it because I believe that if there's at least four reviews saying they had basically the same problem then...more than likely the problem exists......My business partner and I stayed here for 11 days...separate rooms.....my room and general common areas were clean...my room was perfect except the remote for tv seemed to need new batteries, actually was perfect, staff were excellent...mind you I dont know that much Spanish n they dont know that much English....I downloaded a translator which was available offline....my stay there was good....oh....the restaurant is lacking....now the food is excellent however they never seem to have half the stuff on the menu....and portions were kinda small to me..idk if business is bad but.....one morning I decided to have room service I ordered scramble eggs with vegetables....and black coffee, I got the end slices and they were so burnt I could not bite it....the vegetables weren't cut up properly...I was especially hungry that morning....n i wasn't about to complain about food ...i just threw it all in the garbage n went around the corner to McDonald's. Another time there were no vegetables to put in the eggs so i got the eggs without vegetables....could not eat it didn't like the smell ....then another time I decided since they didn't have what the vegetables I'd go by McDonald's but the host convinced me to try pancakes.....smh....after ordering the pancakes I asked for syrup ...they had none! Again i went to McDonald's!..again I'm not one to complain.....owner of restaurant was very helpful with navigation around the area....he speaks some English!...oh before I forget...my business partner's room was dark, there was a huge decent in his mattress, he didn't get a comforter or blanket for his bed and he didn't enjoy his stay said his room was awful and didn't want to move from bad to worst ....as he had peeked a few bad reviews too...however my room was good!

An average hotel, half'an hour distance from the old city: Casco Viejo. Very clean and cosy rooms. The air conditioning was ok, but a little noisy. The staff speaks some english. There is luggage storage. The breakfast is not free and it is very basic: a sausage, some eggs and coffee.

It's not bad, if you only want somewhere to sleep.

Communication is hard. No desire to fix broken things like WiFi. Bad neighborhood specially night of course. Better places in better neighborhood for similar prices. We just left 3 days early and checked into a nice place.

Nice hotel, facilities and staff. Good restaurant downstairs which is handy. Located between the busy modern part of the city and the old city, nothing a walk or a can ride can't fix.

It’s economical if your looking for something inexpensive, however the services aren’t that great, for example my room had a water leak, although I was changed to another room, the next room had issues as well. The air conditioner doesn’t work properly, refrigerator doesn’t really get cold, the internet sometimes doesn’t work, water tends to go, and breakfast is limited. They don’t offer a variety for breakfast, it’s always the same menu every morning, which consist of scrambled eggs, a sandwich, tortilla, Ojaldas, sausages fried or stewed with a choice of coffee or tea. This hotel could use a lot of improvements especially in terms of administration and staff. They don’t have any staff who speak English. All their staff speak Spanish only so imagine all those guest they lost or stayed there without being able to communicate. Also, when I stayed there i wasn’t able to take a shower because there was no water. I called reception and they said the water problem is nationwide and it came out on the news. My thing is your a Hotel, your suppose to inform your guest of what’s going on and their options, no guest should have to call reception to find out why no water. The hotel is well aware of the problems which occur.

Most of the staff are kind and friendly, one old woman was not. It's not a bad place for what you pay, since it's near the metro, it's comfortable and clean. The wifi does not work in the rooms, hence a lot of people sitting in the lobby. They have a washer and dryer available for only 3.25 in total. I would avoid the restaurant. The waiting staff will keep you waiting for overpriced food.

Overall a nice hotel with comfy beds and good cleaning BUT No internet during our 3 night stay, only connection in the lobby. Staff and hotel manager didn't care and gave us multiple excuses(lies) about internet connection over the 3 days. THERE IS NO INTERNET IN ANY OF THE ROOMS! Unfortunately I am reading the reviews after my stay and see that the problem is well known about. Parking is extra and you have to get the key from the reception and bring it back anytime you need your car. Also $5 per day extra. No costumer service. No refund or reimbursement. We chose to stay in another hotel close by.

You get what you pay for. Don't expect hot water all the time. For groups that request extreme budget, it fits price range. No parking available anywhere near the hotel. No dropoff available at front entrance. Narrow street is very busy and driver's get angry waiting for you dropping off or picking up. Eating establishment in hotel is very poorly managed. Hotel needs to kick them out and get better company in. Luckily there are several eating locations close by.

Basic hotel. Advertised add a give star hotel, would get three on my list. Rooms are smallish, without being cramped. Bathroom small with mold on curtains and walls. Nice breakfast (included) and good Wi-Fi connection.
