The workers are friendly. The breakfast is offered free to customers. I had few bad experiences. The room cleaning was not the best. One night, I found a hand towel half way tucked under the mattress (I don't know why). The bath tub drains slow. The inside- bottom of the tub was cracked, enough to feel movement under your feet. There are 2 elevators. But due to pandemic protocol, only one person or one family can use them at time. I don't think, this place will be among my first choice in the future. The price was comfortable, but not worth it.

Nice small boutique hotel in the middle of the core. I was able to walk to the local buses in 5 minutes, and even the Hop On Hop Off tour bus was close by. Another great thing was that the waterfront park area was close by as well. Breakfast was always hot, and easier than trying to figure it out yourself and early. Room was well designed to maximize space, so nothing to complain, the one I had wasn't anything special but I had a nice view to show people, and the shower worked well, and it had a desk for me to do some work at as well, which helped. As an aside, the staff are super friendly, able to answer questions, and on the morning I was leaving I actually almost choked to death (this is literal) and thanks to the staff they got it out. I don't remember the front desk gentleman's name but he acted fast and did save my life, thank you. Great country to visit, great people, and lots of tourists that you can just talk to.

AC didnt work during my entire stay (was promised to be fixed everyday), Internet didn't work during 3/5 days, elevator didnt work one day (15 minutes to get down or up to my room on the 9th floor). Every morning I had to go to reception and ask for these issues to be fixed and everyday they promised and nothing happened. They said the manager would contact me about my stay but they couldn't even take the time to do that. I have stayed here many times before but will not be staying again, seems to have gone down hill.

📝 Only a few words: I had very good stay here! 🛏️ My room was very big and had all comforts. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The shower was really amongst the best I've ever seen in a hotel. 🛎️ Service at reception was always friendly and polite. The only advice I could have is to increase capacity since sometimes lines of people waiting formed at reception. ☝🏼Breakfast was also pretty good and the gym was well assorted and well served. Location was fine as it's really downtown.

We arrived before checkin, and we’re told our room would be ready in 20-30 minutes. After an hour and a half of waiting, we gave up and got lunch. Then, our first room smelled of smoke. The second room was clean, but had no towels—which then took an hour to get delivered… there are plenty of options around, so check those out instead. Update: we thought the biggest perk of staying here would be the free breakfast, but it was terrible. It’s classic buffet style food with very little flavor and bad presentation. Avoid this hotel altogether.

Breakfest was not as good as we expected and the staff was very unattentive. Fire alarm kept going off for no reason.

This is a decent 3 star hotel. Pros- decent sized rooms, working AC, good water pressure in shower, reasonable price, cheap Uber to most of city). Cons - staff doesn’t speak English or other European languages, breakfast is marginal at best, high costs for espresso ($3.5 for an espresso - much cheaper other places).

DON'T GO HERE! If I could have given 0 stars I would. We especially booked a nice hotel on our last day in Panama, to enjoy some luxury, but their customer service is so so bad. We arrived really early in the morning from a nightbus from Bocas del Toro. We were very tired since we hardly slept, and hoped for an early check in. This was only possible if we paid half of the price of a night extra. Not really nice, but ok. Then we asked if we could use the swimming pool earlier, that seemed to be really difficult, and they had to ask the manager. We never got an answer. Then we asked for breakfast, which was being served at that time. Since we were leaving the next day at 5:30, we would not have any breakfast then, so we asked to have it the day before. Also that was not possible. Instead of this we went out for the day, waiting till we could finally check in. Then we asked if it was possible to have a breakfast take away box for the next morning, since we could not make it for breakfast, because of our flight. That was really hard, they had to ask the manager, but in the end it was possible. AGAINST AN EXTRA COST.. of like 15 dollar pp?!. We had breakfast included, but somehow they don't let us use it. We find this really unfriendly and not good customer service. Very unhappy and would not stay here again. Stayed at so much more smaller and cheaper hotels that had us check in earlier at no additional costs, and made us a breakfast box to take away, and we could always use all the facilities, also before checking in.

Truly enjoyed my stay here. Great location, close to a ton of restaurants, supermarkets, and downtown area. The hotel restaurant was very good, the buffet had a good variety. The rooms were spacious with a balcony very clean. The entire staff was amazing super helpful.

Generally I was quite happy with this hotel. I had a nice balcony, and the breakfast was OK (except that many items took a long time to appear after the breakfast time began, and the oatmeal was like thin consomme soup...yuck). But overall, I definitely recommend the hotel.

Love this hotel. The rooms are cozy, the bathroom is perfect. It's a great place to work or spend a day or two. They are very aggressive with their pricing so it can get crowded, but at the same time it's a great value for the money. Avoid the breakfast and trying to check in early.

I have only been to their restaurant, and it’s very centric, and convenient. I have had their veggie nachos, cheese sandwiches and milkshakes. This time I only got the milkshake and it was delicious, it’s just on the expensive side.

I stayed over the Christmas holiday and it was delightful. The rooms are pristine and the staff are professional while being warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is included and it was very good. The best part for me was the giant urn of Palo Alto coffee but they have an espresso machine too. The pool on the 1st floor is an oasis of calm and the gym looked very complete.

Great location, good price, nice lobby, polite staff and very good breakfast. However, room was quite small and even though it has been recently refurbished some parts appeared dated. Bathroom was terribly smelly with glass window to to the room and glass door. There was no water during the rush morning hours (I guess due to lack of pressure in high floor). There was also noise coming from a dehumidifier from the hallway. Therefore overall only three stars.

Nice comfortable stay, friendly staff. Better to understand Spanish prior travel. Good is good if you are a non vegetarian. For vegetarian people bit difficult to adjust.

The hotel is 3 star and you get 3 star. Breakfast is OK if you stay short term. But after 3 weeks of pretty much the same food repeated every 3 days. I can't do breakfast at the hotel anymore. The quality of the food is good but they lack variety.

Very clean and friendly staff. Day 2 of 14 and the food has been wonderful. The restaurant is reasonably priced. Bring your hair dryer and wash cloth. They don't provide them. No extra blanket or pillow but I haven't asked for any yet.

We stayed at the Executive on two separate occasions during our trip. The hotel felt safe and within walking distance to a mini mart and restaurants. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was always very friendly. We enjoyed their buffet breakfast! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location in El Cangrejo. The metro station is nearby. On Via España are a lot of shops and a lot or restaurants are in this area. The hotel has really nice rooms, a pool and a good breakfast. We love that most of the rooms have a balcony. Highly recommended.

Best a-la-carte breakfast ever, served all day long. No matter if it's waflles/pancakes/steak/sandwich. Everything's great. Good coffee too.

The hotel was overall great. The front desk was quite helpful with any questions that I had. The breakfast wasn't on point though. The section was limited and after the second day wasn't appealing anymore. My room ac was giving issues, kept making a loud noise when it turned on and off during the night, and woke me up each time. The balcony doors wouldn't close properly , so there was noise outside during the day you would hear it. The bathroom was 90% clean, and the shower head needed some extra attention.

The location of this hotel is very ideal for travelers and persons who want to explore Panama City. It has great city views and very close to the subway and bus routes. Several ethnic and American restaurants in walking distance. Very centrally located

Positive; Front desk staff is outstanding, food was excellent, rooms fabulous, room service and staff in general wonderful. Negative; Luke warm water in shower, you have to pay $27 for a guest if they go to room to visit, in cludes family, friends. I thought this would be the hotel I stay in when in Panama, now that won't happen. Why pay for guest when they not over night guest. 😔😔😔😔

All in all this is my favorite hotel. It is located very close to the center of the city near restaurants, bus stops and the subway. There is an all you can eat of Brazilian food and a drugstore near by, one can walk in less then 5 min. Rooms are very clean and the bed is really comfortable, the only issue in my opinion is that the AC takes a lil bit to cool the room+ the curtains aren't blackout so some light gets in. The buffet breakfast is simple but well done. mostly food from panama lilke stewd hotdogs and hojaldre. I dont dine in restaurants but the only time i did here i asked for fillet with mushrooms and it was great, i although i considered it a lil bit pricey but not too much

Would recommend this delightful hotel, excellent rooms, great breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very warm staff, good price, nothing too much trouble. This is my go to place in Panama City.

As always this hotel exceeded my expectations. I have stayed in close to 20 different hotels in the city but for many reasons I come back here. Working on super yachts for a living I value cleanliness, customer service and attention to detail and I find this hotel the best in it's price range(even better than a few of the higher end hotels). The staff are exceptional, the breakfast and the steam room is my favorite in the city. On my last visit the steam room was not functioning as before, something I was looking forward to after a lot of traveling. I did not complain but voiced my disappointment that evening in an email to management. The next day it was not only fixed but I was upgraded to a much nicer room on the top floor without asking for anything. The staff are always available to help at any time with a smile. Even if it's just for ice at 2am in the morning. This is definitely not the case at many other hotels. My last visit confirmed that there is no need to explore other options in the city and I cannot recommend staying here enough. Special thanks to Mrs Anays for going above and beyond so I could get the R&R that I needed so much.

Food was awful. Really, really awful. Breakfast came free with room, but it tasted like it should be free.

  • 5/5 lucia sanchez r. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice just a suggestions for breakfast should have juice and water dispenser, take less time for waitresses to service all people and sometimes waiting to long

Lovely clean rooms. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast tasty and varied. There is a small dining room for such a large hotel, so if you are going on a trip or leaving in the morning, I recommend going to breakfast a little earlier. If you want to relax after a busy day, this hotel is a good choice😉

Very nice rooms, clean, with everything you might need. Staff very pleasant. I give 4* only because of the breakfast. Not many options and fruit juice not natural. But we have appreciated our stay. We will come back but without breakfast if possible

This was our first time in Panama. We were very lucky to have chosen this hotel. Its location is in the center of everything you will ever need. The staff is great Ms Anna and Ms Carla were so pleasant and helpful. When we were in need of transport the hotel has there drivers, Mr. Reuben was very helpful and safe. All the staff were always helpful we are looking forward to staying there again on our next trip.

Visited here a lot with my family. Attending events and visiting the restaurant. Even though this was in the 1990's i can tell that their supreme quality has not faltered.

This hotel is OK +ve — top floors have nice views and balconies, the internet is fantastic if you’re having to work, location is good, room cleaning were always wonderful and daily, civilised reception staff. -ve — definitely don’t expect service with a smile from the restaurant staff -service that looks like it wants to slit your throat is more apt. Hideous drain smells in the morning and the late evening, intermittent water pressure issues, full of loud North Americans but that’s Panama for you 👍🏽 restaurant isn’t great unless you like junk food piled high.
