The room is decent, nice and clean. A lot of natural light. The bed is comfy and big. The staff are friendly. They dont have WiFi though, even at the reception. My phone didn't access it as it said not safe so all the time I was there, no WiFi. The hot water was ok for the first 3 days, after that no more. On 1st floor, they have washing machines ($1/time) and dryer ($1.5/time) so it was handy. There is a cafe at the reception but not opened. Only a vending machine for soft drinks next to the reception, hiding behind a closed door. It locates in a very rough area. Just walk out of the hotel, you can see how people are struggling for their life. Not recommended to go out at night. It's also very noisy, nearly all the time although we stayed in the 9th floor. Cars honking, people yelling, etc. For the budget and the facilities, we chose it.

I stayed here for 2 weeks in February. For the price, I was very happy with the level of accommodation. My room was clean with a pretty nice view of the city and the sea. The staff was always helpful and friendly and I always felt safe and secure there. Laundry facilities are available on site. Within close walking distance to Casco Viejo and night life. Good cheap eats in many nearby "fondas" too. Excellent food at a much cheaper price than the touristy Casco restaurants. A plethora of small stores in proximity for snacks, drinks and other sundries. Close to 5 de Mayo bus and Metro station and always plenty of taxis either just in front of the hotel or right around the corner. I look forward to staying here again when able to travel once more.

The staff is very very nice and accommodating, but the location of the hotel is so bad. It's in a very dangerous neighbourhood.

No frills, but cheap. Clean, but saw two little cockroaches. Good proximity to Central Ave, which has lots of shops and activity during the day. At night it shuts down. But, easy walking distance to Casa Viejo and all the places that has to offer, without the price tag.

ok to start i would like to say that the room was what i wanted it for just to lay my head at night and be on the go in the morning but it was not in my expectations the the wifi sucks kept booting us out , the cable kept freezing , no hot water which they should of said something and also told us about us being able to wash our clothes we found that by us looking for the vending machines wondering and they could of mentioned the stove for us to use so we wont have to eat out all the time we were there , but then again they didn't have no pots for us to use so. the rooms has a water pitcher with two small glass we were looking for the ice machine there wasn't one so why the pitcher there, and no lil fridge or microwave We stayed there for 10 days and after like the first 4 days it was depressing cause the area is dirty all you smell is urine once you come out and i did see a lot of small roaches in our room . i can say the one of the lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful with info and directions to places ..it was clean i can say but they really need to let people know of these things if it wasn't that i paid my stay all in advance i would of left else where ..I'm not the one to wrote bad reviews cause i know they have to make a living but we all aren't wealthy and want to enjoy where we are not regret it we save our money and try to get away when we can .. i love going to panama i been there 5 times and this is the only time i didn't enjoy myself ...Sad ;(

I had a good two week stay at this hotel. The staff was good, the service was satisfactory and I would come back to Hotel Doral!
