What a wonderful experience I had here! First and foremost, the staff was amazing. They were knowledgeable and very helpful during my stay. Check in was easy and booking this hotel online was a simple process. My room was nice, spacious and very clean. Having a living room, dining area, and full kitchen with washer and dryer made my stay very comfortable. The extra space was definitely a plus. Complimentary breakfast each morning was an added delight and the view of the city from every window of the hotel room was breathtaking. A very nice place to stay.

This has been my favorite hotel over the last 27 years-- the 'rooms' are, in effect, fully furnished apartments, including a fully furnished kitchen and washer -dryer. Additionally, the price includes a wide variety of breakfast offerings; including cold & hot cereals, fruits, eggs, sausage, stewed beef, pancakes, cassava, etc. Note: Between 1988 and 2001, and then again 2006-2008, I had spent a substantial time in five-star hotels in nearly 45 countries-- whilst on business trips-- and although most were of high quality, none could compare with the comfort and convenience offered by Torres de Alba and as such reasonable rate. Note: On this occasional I was attending an ONG convention and I shared the apartment with another conventioner.

Excellent experience. Huge rooms, decent breakfast, great cityscape views, mostly friendly staff. Generally a good stay.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Room was huge and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've ever had at any hotel. Almost wanted to stuff one in my suitcase and bring it home! Couch did have a bit of a smell to it and could have used a cleaning but otherwise no complaints. Breakfast was quite extensive including custom made omelets.

It's quite bad, people are not so polite, and i need to wait 2.5 hours and made few calls to the receptionist only to get dinner to my room. Rooms doesn't provide free mineral waters, coffee or tea. Not so much power socket in the rooms also. I hope it will be better for my next stay.

My wife and I stayed at the Torres de Alba for a month. We enjoyed our stay as it was truly our "home away from home". The daily breakfast offers several choices and variety. Food service, housekeeping, and front desk staff were very professional and responsive to our needs and even helped me as I struggled to improve my spanish language ability! We would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.

Good hotel to stay at Panama city. The interior needs to change as its greeting is old. The staff needs to know English communication.

This is a really great place! The rooms were clean, the view was absolutely stunning, and they had a washer/drier. We stayed in two separate rooms, and in both, the shower wasn't working properly.

Stayed here twice at both the beginning and end of our trip to Panama. We followed the recommendation of another reviewer to pay just a little bit more for the superior suite and it was completely worth it. The rooms were huge and in higher floors with spectacular views of the city. The furnishings were clean and comfortable and the elevators were always quick to arrive (a benefit of only having 4 rooms per floor). Also having newer clothes washer and dryer in the room was a great perk.

This hotel was great! It's in a great location. Close to stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc... The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was kind and extremely helpful. My husband and I will definitely stay there again.

THE place to stay in Panama! Super spacious suite-only, with full kitchen and a washer and dryer too! Pack just half of what you need and do a load or two of laundry halfway through your stay. The rooms are huge, just like a one-bedroom apartment. Many have spectacular views. There’s a free buffet breakfast every day also. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in PTY. The staff is also super friendly and accommodating. There’s no reason to stay anywhere else.

Amazing hotel for the price. Six of us stayed in a 3-bedroom suite with amazing city views and huge living and dining areas, full kitchen with washer and dryer, and two full bathrooms with showers. It is located in an area accessible to many restaurants, the metro, and other businesses. They also have a free parking garage around the corner with direct access to the hotel. The staff was very helpful with transportation and other suggestions around the area. They also have a full breakfast buffet everyday and even a vending machine that serves liquor. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Panama.

Best deal in PTY. Huge fully equipped apartment with a good buffet breakfast. Clean and great location.

The rooms were okay. Not the worst, not the best. Just okay. The good thing is that there is a kitchen so you can cook your own meals, but breakfast is also provided with little variety. The location is good because it is not far from the metro. And a supermarket below opens late if u need a late night snack.

This is a four (04) star aparthotel whose employees do speak poor English and doesn't have a bell boy which means that you will have to but your suitcases yourself.

I recently stayed at Torres del Alba and was extremely disappointed with my experience. On December 25th, I encountered a malfunctioning door lock in my room. Despite informing a staff member named Anna about the issue, no action was taken to resolve it, leading me to fix the lock myself. This situation not only compromised my security but also my overall stay. Additionally, the customer service was subpar. My wife waited at the front desk for assistance for an extended period, only to be met with neglect. The overall unfriendliness and lack of professionalism from the staff were notable and unacceptable. Given these experiences, I cannot recommend Torres del Alba. Potential guests should be aware of the poor service and inaction by the staff, which significantly impacted our stay and overall impression of the hotel.

I guess it depends on what room you get. This is what mine looked like. Nice place to stay. Can’t complain. Has everything I need personally.

Not a perfect, but quite good hotel. Friendly staff at the reception. Has a well equipped gym. You have to take a power adaptor for your electronic devices as all sockets in the room are for US plugged cords. There is considerable difference between the towers. Much more comfortable rooms to stay in are in the tower where reception is located.

Great spot! We were on the 22nd floor with amazing views of the city and beyond. The staff are really helpful, the room was a well furnished Apt, the gym was large and pool was usually quiet except weekends. Decent Breakfast included too. Very good overall experience. Negative: internet at times was wonky, kitchen furnishings could be more plentiful.

Very nice central hotel. The rooms are very spacious and if you will got a good floor (high) you can have a spectacular view on panama city. Assistance from the manager (Lucia) was perfect and she solved immediately a small outrage problem giving us an other room. Breakfast included is for sure a big plus. Idem for garage. Super suggested!

The suite was good, but it was packed day that elevador and the breakfast was the baddest experience we have. A lot of people not wearing Mask on the public areas or elevators and also on the eating area

The A/C in my room isn't very good. It's a good size room, full kitchen but my fridge doesn't get cold, but I only kept water in it. There's a full size washer and dryer which is very handy to wash sweaty clothes. The free breakfast is pretty decent. Nice gym and the pool is good, a bit small but barely anyone was using it while I was here. Loved the shower head.

You need to upgrade to executive suites to have a nice room with updated appliances and modern furniture. The rooms are large and have a kitchen. But again...must upgrade. Standard room will leave you scratching your head. The breakfast buffet is OK. Merely adequate. Not something you look forward to.

The room itself is not horrible, however, the first day we arrived there was a small dead roach in the living room area. The next day there was a live lizard in the same area. Then a few days later a HUGE roach flew across our bedroom. The safe didn’t work & many other things were broken. The soap to wash dishes with was disgusting it looked like their were dead little worms or something in it. Pretty decent view of the city but the walls to the outside are definitely not sound proof. Had to use white noise to try & block out some of the music from outside. The shower was the best thing about the room. It was very nice. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent service, very close and easily accessible to all areas of Panama City.I am Panamanian by birth and had been away for too many years. The Manager, Mr. Lashley was very instrumental in enabling my Dad, my Aunt, my daughter and myself experience a very pleasant visit HOME. Will certainly lodge there again whenever @ HOME Panama! Torres de Alba is affordable, comfortable, updated with kitchenette, washer/dryer and has an impressive view of Panamanian skyline with a pool and exercise equipment to keep one’s body very fit. The restaurant was very convenient as well. Torres de Alba is within walking distance of other fine restaurants as well!

They always have great service here and it's centrally located, but I swear they never have hot water and the rooms may have something broken, but they do relocate you quickly. Just try everything out before unpacking.

Great place, nice and comfy, but if you are not a fan of a busy and noisy nightlife, you should skip it...

BED BUGS!!!!! BEWARE! We only stayed here one night (thankfully) and I woke up in the morning with a bug crawling on my arm and on closer inspection realized it was a bed bug!!!! We found more behind the bed. Even more disturbing, when we told the front desk they just said “oh, we’ll have someone come change the sheets”. That will do nothing! Extremely grossed out and disturbed by this experience. Would steer clear of this place!
