Reasonable prices.Very comfortable beds. Breakfast was included which was a bit on the scanty side for those that love to eat hearty breakfasts. Swimming pool on the top floor...which we loved. Security a bit poor. Taxi service right outside of the hotel was great. Hot and cold shower..wonderful!

Hotel is at a good location. ** security at night is terrible the doors on every floor is unlocked in the hallways. ** TV too far away from the bed and too close to the door the curtains need changing. ** there's no good illumination of Lights in the bathroom or room one light in the bathroom dark in the other side. ** you only get two towels for the whole room nothing to be put on the floor and two pillows no extra pillows. ** one trash can in the toilet needs another trash can in the bedroom area. ** need to buy new lamps one lamp in the bedroom was not working and needs replacing. ** front desk woman was not too friendly does not smile too much.Needs two people to work because it's very busy in the lobby area. In the bedroom, door is connected to the outside balcony area ...anyone could come up on the stairwell and try to open the door. Make sure you door is locked. ** air condition in the room is above the bed it says set on automatic but it's not automatic constantly blows cold air on you needs to be repaired or fixed to work properly.

The room was ok. Only giving it one more star due to its cleanliness as it was quite clean. But there is a lot of miscommunication if Spanish is not your first language. We were told breakfast was complementary but when it came around and breakfast was completed they walked over with the bill expecting payment. I do not advise foreigners to come spend their vacation here. As in comparison Hilton, best western and residence by Marriott are not far off the $100 price and these do include much better amenities along with the world around name you are going for. Writing this review as a advisory for anyone thinking of staying here local or not… they don’t seem to be honest people and there are much better choices in the city not too far away. As a side note; Panama is a nice country with great infrastructure but they should learn a thing or two from the Costa Rican tourism industry.

Showed $45 a night on website. They said $65 when I arrived but switched when I showed them. They show airport shuttle bus which they dont use. They have a private guy that charges $30 when a taxi is $15. Advertised free breakfast but did not have. 2 stars is only because its clean.

For this price its brilliant, the location is perfect, a 5 min. Walk to the seaside, ore the busstation to whatever you want. Its a nice walk from 45 minutes to Casco Viejo next to the sea. The rooms are spacious clean with good beds, towels are changed every day and the food in the restaurant is simple but very good. The neigborhood is safe! What more to say, I enjoyed my 8 days stay here.

This hotel is good to stay at if you don't have a budget... Although accommodation is fairly priced you will end up paying more for food... There are no amenities like a microwave, kettle, etc so you will need to go out for food which can start adding up... The restaurant at the hotel you are expecting to pay about 7$ for breakfast (fruit salad, omelet with ham and cheese, coffee and fresh orange juice) but I must say the food is delicious... The beds are pretty comfy but only 1 pillow (we ended up taking a pillow from the couch) also don't expect a cupboard to unpack your luggage

Great hotel with great prices. Rooms are large and clean. The rooftop pool has great views of the city. If you like to walk a lot it's a great location ; as it takes a bit of a walk to get to the old district or ocean walkway. I have to say the staff where great as they helped me get transportation to the airport and where very friendly. I would stay again.

The room is big, the mattresses are good, the area is good, but the towels in the bathroom are stained and yellowed by the weather!

It is like a refurbished building it looks worn out, the air conditionings don't work properly, they told me I had to have the room at a temperature of 16 degrees celsius or turn it off as it would leak water to the whole room; I needed it to be at a comfortable temperature of 20 - 21 degrees but I couldn't, it was either freezing at 16 degrees or suffocating at 30 degrees from the temperature outside, but the worse part was that they told me that all air conditioners are like that in the hotel and that it wouldn't work changing my room... Also the front desk in the morning is very unfriendly, they don't smile, they don't say hi, it seems like they hate their job and work out of need only, they just look at you passing down the hallway like a sniper with a gun... At the restaurant I asked them If I could borrow a knife to peel an apple in my room and slice some lemons and they said no, and acted like if I was going to assault someone upstairs with it... Be careful they don't check for toilet paper, they gave me a new room and the next day the dispenser ran out, I called them twice, half an hour later I had to come down myself to the reception to get it. They are horrible, very bad customer service, very bad hotel, there are better options in Panama city for less.

Pros: Very well located, rooms are big and the price is good for what you get. Cons: feels like you're walking on eggshells as they make you sign a consent stating you will pay $200-400 for any "damage" or spill over the mattress, sheets or pillow cases.

Clean, large rooms. Secure, covered parking garage. Great for motorcyclists. Very reasonable rates considering the location. All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Cheap and basic It was clean, but no hot water in the shower unless you ran it for 10mins before you get into it. The bedside lights didn't work, and pillows (just 2 in the room) were a lot to be desired, had to ask for 2 more. The nicest part of the hotel was the pool. We didn't have time to use it, but it looked very clean and a good size for a rooftop pool This hotel served it purpose as a cheap one night stop over

Nice rooms, has a good restaurant with food stuff. WiFi is very fast as well

I wish I could rate 1 star. I book group rooms and the hotel never mentioned prior to me arriving that I had to leave a HIG cash deposit. I asked for the Manager which was not on site. The HR lady went down with a HORRIBLE attitude. Very prepotent, I tried to pay the deposit with my card but they were not considered at ALL. This used to be a good hotel. Dear owners, is time to change management. The rooms are spacey, old furniture, big shower. The restaurant schedule is limited and we saw the cooker WITHOUT A MASK ON! So we did not buy any food from the hotel. The pool still nice, great view, bad schedule.

We only needed a room to shower while in the area for a few hours. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Just not impressed with the shower :/ affordable

Hotel Terranova has an excellent location to restaurants, supermarket pharmacy, parks , to the metro, stores and Allbrook Mall.The Hotell also offers a private taxi. It has a very good resturants wich is nice in case you do not want to eat out. Excellent staff
