Nice,
basic
room
with
delicious
breakfast.
AC
and
WiFi
worked
well.
I
didn't
have
hot
water,
but
it
was
so
humid
I
didn't
need/
want
it.
Lovely
hammocks
in
the
shared
spaces
(though
a
bit
mildewy).
There's
no
drinkable
water
available
except
for
water
bottles
($2/bottle).
Very
nice
people
working
at
the
lodge!
They're
starting
to
build
hike
guides
for
guests,
which
is
a
nice
touch,
but
could
use
more
images/
instructions.
I
ended
up
getting
severely
lost
on
1
hike
(3
crosses),
so
just
be
careful
if
you're
not
an
experienced
hiker.
I'm
a
birdwatcher
and
came
specifically
for
the
birds
(pelican
migration
time
of
year),
and
the
birding
was
just
okay.
There
are
no
bird
watching
guides
available
on
the
island
for
guided
tours.
Looking
back,
spending
the
extra
time
in
Soberania
or
Metropolitan
park
would've
been
better
from
a
birding
perspective.
I
did
a
boat
tour
around
the
island
and
stopped
at
one
place
to
snorkel
and
it
was
pretty
good
(maybe
a
6/10).
The
island
itself
unfortunately
has
a
major
issue
with
plastic
and
garbage
all
over
(water,
sand,
streets),
so
you
really
have
to
leave
the
town
via
boat
or
hike
to
get
nice
nature
exposure.
