I have a really hard time believing the reviews here. I had an absolutely awful experience with this company. I was using their service for years and I blame myself for not checking what they were doing more closely since I am over seas but they totally mismanaged my rental unit and Eddie Montes is the biggest idiot I have ever dealt with period. Tremendous head aches will follow if you deal with Eddie trust me. Awful customer service. The list goes on and on about what they did but the bottom line is simple. I will never use them again and I want others to know that it's not all peaches and cream with them. 5 stars? Yea right.

It is difficult to describe the amount of frustration faced over the years with PPR. They have been managing our property for the last few years since I live overseas and it has been a total disaster. Extremely unprofessional with an obvious bias to tenants. The things tenants can get away with is unbelievable. They simply dont care about the properties and are willing to hide stuff from owners. I have never seen anyone better at making excuses. If you own a property here or if they are managing it for you, I strongly suggest you find someone to visit and inspect it. It might surprise you! (The last surprise was a huge dog living in our property without our consent). Stay away from them if you want your properly well maintained... if you are renting, this is your opportunity to rent a place that you can tear apart and walk away without paying a dime!!!!

About to embark on my sixth country as an expat three years ago, I found myself overwhelmed with the amount of real estate inventory in Panama City, and the usual fear of having to deal with "pushy" agents. After all, Panama was (and is) a real estate agent's heaven...at least you would think? One of the first agencies I located, and the first to return my call, was Punta Pacifica Realty. I told the agent (Duncan McGowan) how much I wanted to spend, and what I wanted in an apartment to lease. I was shown apartments exactly within my price range and with all the amenities requested. I decided to wait on some of the other agencies to return my call, so I could at least view what other rental opportunities were available. Appointments were eventually made; however, the agent either never showed up, and if they did, they didn't have the keys to the apartment; or the unit was rented last month, etc., etc. I went back to Punta Pacfica Realty. I signed the lease. I really did not have problems in getting maintenance requests fulfilled over the last three years, nor did I experience, rude uncaring service. The team at Punta Pacifica Realty consistently showed me that they wanted to assist me and that I was a privileged customer. I have recommended, and will continue to recommend PPR for buying property or leasing; as they are a full-service real estate agency that has seasoned and young professionals alike, including in-house lawyers and interior decorators. My husband and I have been searching for property overseas for a long time. Was assured that I would not be overcharged upon speaking with my sales representative during my final review. Was then charged hundreds more than I was told I would. Wanted me to pay to paint the entire apt (that rep agreed i didnt cause) and replace recessed lights that naturally went out during my 3month stay. Apartment was filthy upon arrival. Sheets were not washed (was not charged linen fee upon checkout because of this), floors had muddy footprints all over, showers had hair everywhere, smelled disgusting. Eventually was able to work through everything, but took nearly a quarter of our trip there speaking with management and maintenance to get the apartment reasonable. Oh and our liason was not in the country when we arrived and did not set us up with an alternate contact to get help with these things. Would never work with this company again.

I am a retired Professor Emeritus of Economics at California State University. However, real estate has been my passion since I was very young. I own a number of investment properties  in Arizona and California and two condos in Canada. Though I have dealt with a lot of real estate agents in my life, buying real property for the first time in a non-English speaking, emerging market was a daunting task for me. I first looked at Trump Ocean Club (TOC) in  2010. Jeff Barton showed me the units. I knew what I wanted, so I only saw models 01 and 02, and only in Trump Tower. I visited Panama several times over the next 6 or 7 years, and each time I went by TOC to see what was available for purchase in models 01 and 02. Jeff was always very courteous, assuring, and helpful. He never tried to push a unit on me (I am sure after all those years he must have wondered if I was a buyer or just a looker.) Recently, I called Jeff on a listing and was thrilled to get the model and deal I always wanted. I'm excited about being an owner in TOC. Jeff sensed my anxiety about buying in a foreign country. He asked me to open the escrow account in the US, because he knew it made me more comfortable. He and Jesy helped me form a Panamanian corporation. Jeff helped me open a bank account and also gave me a personal reference.
