Ok, so as foreigners my husband had a TRKR. Surgery went beautifully. Dr. Melgar is a fine english speaking surgeon. The hospital is new and spotless. There are not two beds in each room but one and a faux leather sofa bed. I spent four nights in the room. They do provide you with sheets, blankets, pillows, towels. Bring your own TP if you are not used to the local kind, and wash cloths too. Excellent large shower, and fridge in room. You could bring your own water etc. Meals are provided 3X a day, very small but edible. Nurses are attentive, they prefer Spanish so bring some type of translator. (The English gets better as you go along.) In on a Tues out on Sat. Would have been Tues-Fri but hubby had an infected hangnail. LOL. BEWARE: Only bad experience. Upon admission we paid an ADVANCE on the surgery with our credit card (Yes, they will take your credit card!). Upon discharge THEY CHARGED US THE FULL AMOUNT AGAIN!!!! Five days later our card hasn't been set straight. Do not pay a second time, just the difference between your advance and the final bill. Luckily, we have a high limit and it didn't go over (quite)!!! Great hospital, bad clerical staff. Surgery very, very successful. Hubby couldn't be happier. Two stars because of billing mess!!! BEWARE!!!

No waiting but x-rays were needed and an appointment at the hospital itself in the same building. At the hospital I had to wait 15 min and pay a $16 copay or fee.
