I wanted to get a vasectomy but wasn't sure where to start. I researched different doctors in Panama and even reviewed the list from the US embassy. I contacted a few but they didn't click with me. You might wonder why someone needs to "click" with me but if they're working on a very sensitive area then I must feel comfortable with them. The irony here is that I found Dr. Henriquez because I was very impressed with her online presence. She had everything sorted to really stand out amongst her peers online. I thought if she had that much attention to detail then she might work for me. I made the appointment directly with her via email. The visit was great and she really put me at ease because I wasn't so comfortable with getting the procedure done even though I wanted it badly for many years. I delayed it (ok, I procrastinated) until I got a WhatsApp message from her asking how I was doing and if I was still thinking about it. We engaged in further conversation and I scheduled the procedure. I was nervous but she kept me calm. The actual procedure, ok, let's call it what it is, a vasectomy, was smooth and painless. I am not joking about the painless part. The most uncomfortable part was the very first shot which wasn't bad at all. I didn't have any real discomfort even when I got home. I followed her instructions for the healing process. However, I think I got too over zealous when she said that I need to "clear the tubes" and I popped a stitch. She put me at ease mentally and prescribed some medicated spray to prevent infection. I am nearly good as new now and happy with the results. Dr. Henriquez (or Kathleen as I call her) is amazing. I wish I could clone her to be my Internal Medicine doctor and maybe even my dentist because she is a talented doctor with compassion, understanding, and always available. I high HIGHLY recommend her. She speaks perfect English and that was an added bonus for me because my Spanish isn't so good. I will keep her as my urologist as the years go by because the plumbing does need to be maintained.

Dr Henriquez was excellent, she manages to combine good knowledge of mens health issues, good connections with health professionals in Panama, and a very patient oriented approach.

Dr Katherine has been very caring and professional. She was always available for any questions I had and responded promptly. Most importantly, the surgery she performed was impeccable. A quick recovery and the desired result. I definitely recommend her.

Great Doctor. Breaks the ice easy and is extremely friendly. Extremely knowledgeable on many subjects specifically Andrology which is not that common in Panama. 100% recommend.

I had a very positive experience with Dra. Katherine Henriquez. Her consultations are thorough and unhurried. She provides a complete explanation of your condition and ensures all of your questions are answered. She appears to be very well technically qualified and also provides a level of care and attention not normally found in US health care. She is very open and honest about which procedures can be confidently performed in Panama and which services may need to be obtained elsewhere. Feedback regarding test results comes very quickly. You are always able to reach her directly with questions or concerns, and she answers in hours, not days. You don’t hear back from a staff person or nurse, you deal directly with the doctor. I would definitely consult with Dra. Henriquez again and recommend her highly.

Great professional and human behavior

A family member referred me to see Dr. Henriquez for a terrible pain I had. I was scared to check it out, but she made the experience very easy going and helped me with a great treatment to ease the symptoms, eventually had to remove kidney stones and she had great advice to prevent this from recurring. Totally recommended!

I was on vacation in Panama City for 2 weeks. And having so much time. I decided to search for a urologist because I had some questions and I just turn 40 needed to check my testosterone and prostate. She at the Panama clinic high rise. Very beautiful clean building. She very honest, caring, respectful and helpful. Biside she is a very beautiful young woman at heart.
