This resort is a very clean place to stay, they are very meticulous especially since guests bring their dogs here . The staff are super friendly and the owners are amazing. Logan went out of his way to book us a wonderful horseback tour during our visit and drove us to the tour location. We take our big dog ( cane corso) with us everytime we go there and he loves the ocean. The beach area is very clean and sand is fabulous, not rocky. You can find sand dollars during your beach walk most every morning , and this time of the year the water is bath tub warm, even hot in some spots. The food is great, their surf n turf is definitely worth a try, and the shrimp pasta is a 5 out of 5 in my books, and I don't usually even eat seafood. This is absolutely our go to for a beach vacation. Highly recommend!!!

This place is beautiful and amazing. Loved the rooms, pool, and proximity to the beach. The staff was wonderful and made the stay amazing. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, and never hesitated to make our stay more memorable. Some suggestions would be to bring plenty of mosquito repellent and a headlamp or flashlight. Overall this place was awesome, definitely going back every time we get a chance.

Show Pony is a hidden gem of Panama. The setting, the resort, the food, the rooms and the staff were all absolutely incredible. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a bit of luxury in a secluded location. Also getting up at 6am to see the sunrise on the beach is a must!

Disconnect and recharge in this incredible inspiring resort. The rooms and facilities are fantastic (especially the outdoor shower), the food and cocktails are incredible (try the piña colada!) and the beach... just WOW from left to right as far as the eye can see the most amazing beach all to yourself. Make sure to check out the sunrise and sunset while you are there, they feel unreal - perfect postcard photos! Enjoy!

Some of rooms have kitchens were you can bring your own food to cook or go the semi outdoor restaurant. The food and food were great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There is a pool and a few feet away there is the beach with lounge chairs and barbecue grills. I highly recommend this place if all you want is peace and quiet and fun. They also rent out surf boards and kayaks. Yes, they have wifi. And, car parking. This place is a gold mine. If all you want is peace and quiet and forget about work this is the place to come. It is like in the movies. The owners of the place eats in the semi outdoor restaurant with everyone else. My husband was able to just swim, relax and snooze in the sun.

If you're looking for a paradise this is the place. In the middle of nowhere with miles of beach to yourself. I highly recommend this place for anyone truly looking to get away.

We were here for the daily fee- which allows us to park, use the restrooms, and use the pool and associated amenities. (We did not stay overnight.) the beach is a short walk from the parking area. The beach is huge and very flat. Everyone enjoyed the waves- especially on boogie boards. Even caught a glimpse of a manta ray in the surf. The staff were very helpful. We came back to the restaurant for lunch which was very good. After spending the afternoon in the beach, we came to shower change and sip a pina colada before returning home. It was a super day all around.

2 things I did not like...gravel road to the resort...and the bed was on a cement pad...stubbed my toe twice.....lol Hard to explain...dinner time, sit at the table outside your room. A waiter will be at your table, with the menu. Drinks, same way. The beach was very clean, plenty of cabanas to sit out of the sun. The pool had tables in it, so of course your drink was delivered while you sit in the pool. We plan on a return trip to this resort. It is a great place to relax at.

Once again, the show Pony resort doesn't disappoint. Great staff, wonderful food and the beach, well best in panama 🇵🇦 recommend the place hands down

The unit I got appeared to be unfinished... perhaps others are more attractive but this one is quite stark and devoid of any decorative touches. It's just not designed for a romantic interlude. There was a coffee pot and a few packets of coffee and tea, but no creamer or sugar. In short the amenities I would expect in a hotel of that price just were not there...but this is not exactly a hotel, so I really shouldn't complain.

It looked nice as I walked in, so expected better. Restaurant really bad cook and way over priced, bar drinks expensive, kitchen not well stocked to cook so bring your own pans and sharp knives as well as food. Outside door lock didn't work, needed help to latch it many times, no hot water in bathroom shower, but outside shower worked fine. No where to put bathroom items except on the floor. Shower head set for 9' person. In fact the counter height in the kitchen is really high. Most Panamanian people are much shorter so not sure why this is. I had to stand on my toes to prepare meals and wish dishes. The beach is across the road and down a path do not right on the beach as advertised but has a great sitting area, swings, tables, volleyball net. The water is magnificent. At low tide the beach is over 100 yds deep and miles long from side to side. No directions were sent to find this place and the signage is terrible. Go through the gates traveling on a really bad road for just over a mile. Enter the private housing area and stay to your right. Show Pony is in this development. I probably won't come back. I hear Las Lajas Beach Resort has a much better restaurant but no kitchens. Also bring your bug spray. They don't have a gift shop (so not a real resort) and I have over 100 bites all over my body. Wish I hadn't run out. The WIFI is terrible. They said they are replacing in July.

If you are looking for an amazing break from your busy schedule this is the perfect place. The staff is amazing and will engage with you as much or as little as you choose. They are always extremely warm and welcoming to everyone checking in. We personally had hiccups with our reservations and checked in late and past dinner. Yet the cook stayed and made sure we did not go hungry that first night. The beach is beautiful and so is the pool. We stayed in a villa with an outdoor shower and even though the resort is smaller it seems much bigger due to the layout. It is pet and family friendly!!! If you are not familiar with the area do be prepared for the drive in. The road in is rough gravel to large stones however it should not keep you from experiencing a wonderful place.
