Solid
stay
overall.
Maybe
the
most
unique
Residence
Inn
Hotel
that
I’ve
ever
stayed
in,
certainly
different
in
comparison
to
the
U.S.
its
inside
of
a
mall,
ideal
for
business
travel
and
for
families.
The
location
was
great,
close
to
the
multi
plaza
mall
and
walking
distance
to
Super
99,
Coffee
Max,
and
Cinta
Costera
is
just
under
a
mile
away.
The
food
could
use
some
improvement,
a
little
pricey..
service
was
very
slow.
Housekeeping
does
a
nice
job
just
know
they
don’t
provide
dishwashing
soap,
you
have
to
pick
some
up
on
your
own
at
the
99
across
the
way.
Nightly
rate
was
reasonable
(more
on
this
later).
The
pool
was
nice,
towels
are
provided.
Views
are
fantastic.
There
is
a
clinic
connected
which
is
convenient,
but
know
that
they
will
charge
you
a
$300
deposit
for
your
visit
and
either
charge
you
the
difference
or
credit
you
back
based
on
the
treatment
rendered.
A
public
clinic
such
as
Mar
del
Sur
will
only
charge
you
a
$15
consultation
fee.
So
why
only
two
stars?
Aside
from
the
cons
mentioned.
I
reserved
two
rooms
well
in
advance
via
the
BonVoy
app
for
3
nights
at
just
under
$700.
I
had
to
call
to
get
my
final
invoice
because
they
never
provided
a
copy.
The
Hotel
charged
me
the
rate
that
was
available
at
the
time
of
my
stay
not
the
rate
from
the
time
of
my
booking.
This
added
an
extra
$100+
to
my
bill.
The
Hotel
also
disn’t
honor
the
e-gift
of
$250
that
Marriott
sent
me
for
being
a
valued
member
even
though
at
the
time
of
check
in
they
said
they
would.
Now
I’m
having
to
call
and
get
the
run
around
for
something
that
should’ve
been
handled
correctly
the
first
time.
This
is
one
of
my
biggest
pet
peeves
with
Hotels
and
a
deciding
factor
for
never
staying
again.
Once
I’m
done
with
my
stay,
I
need
to
move
on
with
life
and
not
have
to
deal
with
a
mishandled
invoice.
Residence
Inn
dropped
the
ball
and
I’m
still
dealing
with
this
almost
two
weeks
later.
Quick
a
recap.
1.
I
reserved
both
rooms
in
advance
to
take
advantage
of
the
lower
rate.
The
Hotel
disregarded
my
reservation
and
charged
the
current
higher
rate.
Still
waiting
for
my
refund.
2.
The
Hotel
said
they
would
honor
the
e-gift
I
received
from
Marriott
of
$250.
The
discount
was
never
received.
They
asked
later
if
I
still
wanted
to
use
it.
SMH
3.
Almost
two
weeks
later
and
no
reward
points
have
been
Issued
for
my
two
bookings.
Though
its
not
my
favorite
Hotel
in
Panama,
I
will
say
it’s
still
a
solid
Hotel
overall.
My
two
star
rating
is
more
a
reflection
the
poor
service
received
during
my
stay.
It’s
reason
enough
for
me
to
never
return.
