We
live
in
Panama
and
were
looking
for
something
to
do
with
out
of
town
visitors.
We
decided
on
an
excursion
with
Panama
Canal
Fishing.
We
knew
we
needed
some
sun
screen,
hats,
our
favorite
drinks
and
snacks,
a
cooler
of
ice,
and
some
2
gallon
zip
lock
bags
.
We
met
our
fishing
guide
Capt.
Elias
Chimbe
and
set
out
from
the
marina
near
the
Gamboa
rain
forest
resort.
We
set
out
early
morning
(which
personally
I
think
is
the
best
time).
Started
with
a
scenic
boat
ride
where
we
were
able
to
view
all
sorts
of
beautiful
flora
and
fauna.
Then
off
to
fishing
for
peacock
bass.
We
had
a
wonderful
time
on
the
lake
fishing
and
checking
out
fantastic
trees
and
vegetation
and
birds
of
all
kinds.
Our
Captain
happily
helped
with
baiting
the
hooks
and
taking
the
fish
off
the
hooks
for
those
that
wanted
him
to.
We
ended
up
with
plenty
of
bass
for
us
and
some
friends
we
ended
up
entertaining
the
next
day.
The
captain
did
an
excellent
job
fileting
our
fish
for
us
and
we
put
them
into
the
2
gallon
zip
lock
bags
that
we
brought
with
us
and
threw
them
into
our
cooler
of
ice
for
the
trip
home.
One
thing
I
would
mention
is
the
road
out
to
Gamboa
is
in
need
of
repair
and
some
of
the
ride
is
fairly
rough
for
most
vehicles.
This
is
a
great
time
even
for
those
with
no
fishing
experience.
