After a month in Panamá City was getting a little homesick for a hot dog from the U.S. A small little eatery a block off Balboa Ave, did the trick. We both ordered an El Americano which was one of many unique offerings of hots dogs and Panamanian sausages. A little different than Detroit style. We don’t usually put mayonnaise on ours, but was a nice addition. The hot dog was similar to a skinless ballpark jumbo dog. I could not eat it all, but my husband had no trouble!
