This is an Italian cuisine restaurant that seems to be very popular. I've tried to visit several times and in all my attempts there were no available parking spaces. This last try, I decided to wait until getting a parking space, and boy it was worth it. I had ordered pizzas from them as delivery and I enjoyed them. But now that I sat at a table and had a taste of their food very warm and served right away from the kitchen made it a whole lot better! The freshness in their food is awesome and the quality of the ingredients used is highly noticeable. I will definitely go again to order some other items from their menu as they sure cook good!

Delicious Italian food! The drinks were wonderful. The arancini was uniquely made and delicious. The pizzas are hand tossed. They are all winners. The mushroom gnocchi and risotto are both delicious.

One of the best Gluten Free pizzas I have ever had in my life! It was so fluffy that I had to ask if it was actually gluten free or not. The entire vibe of the restaurant was modern and nice. The employees were also nice. The non pizza items were also very tasty. Their sangria was also so so good! If we didn’t visit here on our last night I might have gone back that’s how good it was (& we like to try new places)

Where to start? First the "don't order" .... tortellini soup. Pitifully bland...no tortellini...it was 4 ravioli. Should remove from menu. Ok now on to the good stuff and why I have a new favorite Italian restaurant in PTY. The Focaccia Lucca was an amazing appetizer for 3. The pizza guy has it going on. Charred to perfection, prosciutto, arugula, tomato and a light garlic cream...Sooo good. Caprese salad was equally fresh and yummy. Tomatoes were spot on fresh and flavorful, mozzarella was fresh and kissed by a delicious pesto cream. Linguine with white clam sauce was very good, needs more almejas and a bit more sauce. Pasta cooked to perfection. (Al dente). Mushroom risotto was the bomb...loaded with perfectly sauteed hongos, risotto was creamy, and delightful. Tiramisu, was the perfect shared ending to a memorable meal. No, I'm not a relative, just a fan of well prepared flavorful food at a reasonable price with solid service from a well trained staff. The wine service demonstrated the commitment to a lovely dining experience.

Food poisoning, and terrible pizza. I went to Lucca during pizza week and picked up their signature pizza with a ginger ale, this was the only thing I ate this day, the next morning I woke up with food poisoning, and am still very sick for 2 days now. If food poisoning doesn't deter you, then the quality of the pizza was sub par to say the least. As you can see, half of the pizza is comprised of burnt crust and completely burned on the bottom. And I also wasted $78 on a Covid test due to the symptoms I experienced as a result of this food. Stay away if you dislike food poisoning or bad pizza.

The service is fast and effective as you expect in a real Italian place. You may find good pizzas with quality ingredients. Also tiramisú is on point. Thanks

I went there twice during happy hour and the drinks and food are reasonably priced which is rare for Panama. And even more rare for Panama, the food quality was good and quite tasty. Friendly service and stylish design. One of my favorite places in Panama City now.

We went to celebrate father’s day. Although we did not make a reservation, once we arrived, the staff were able to accommodate us (party of 4) in less than 5 minutes. We had the focaccia clásica, as an appetizer and it was delicious. I had the margherita napolitana and it was very good. The tiramisu was so delicate and soft, I couldn’t get enough of it. Overall great food, excellent atmosphere and the staff were very attentive to us. Would definitely come back again.

Definitely Lucca’s food is good. Delicious. I love their pizzas, pasta, desserts, steak.. Honestly the risottos are good but they are often too salty. Despite their good foods, I give Lucca only 3 stars.. because some of waiters have a real problem. Of course it is better than waiters are not attentive. I get that. But Lucca’s… Waiters are too much.. they should have kinda policy of not clearing a single dish from table until it’s confirmed that every single guest on the table has finished eating. Servers make us feel being rushed and pushed to finish ;;;; keeps clearing a dish one by one, interrupting the conversation… Moreover the waitress often even tries to clear a dish even while I am chewing….. some of servers at Lucca need some table manner service training ;-(

Best pizza place I know. For the quality the prices are super reasonable. I mean would you rather an 8 dollar Mcdonaldz pizza or Little C's? Or would you spend that for a whole freshly made pizza with top quality ingredients?

Absolutely fantastic neapolitan style pizza 🍕 one of the best I ever had in my life, was just a coincidence how I found this great place. focaccia was also absolutely delicious. Weekends are frequently more guests then during the week days. If you want a better seat you should reserve.

I would consider LUCCA to be one of the upscale eateries in the neighborhood. The food is excellent and the atmosphere refined. Pizza was some of, if not THE, best I have had in Panama. Pasta was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. My date agreed!

This was a very last minute plan to eat here. And sometimes last minute plans work out great. I knew about the restaurant’s high rating and it was a block away from our hotel. After sitting in horrible pay-day Panama traffic, we didn’t want to get back in a car to Casco Viejo where our original reservation was for the night. Lucca not only provided a back up plan but they also delivered on a great meal in a relaxing atmosphere, (once the screaming baby next to us left.). The wines were diverse and delicious. And our server was delightful and attentive. And easy to make last minute reservations on OpenTable. I would totally return to try some of their pastas and pizzas next time.

A little light on the flavor in some areas. Could have used more salt. The service is bad. Took me a few times to flag someone down to order. I was there for almost an hour and a half and they never offered to refill my water. The waiter at the end asked for a tip and I said yes, gave him 10% and he seemed shocked it wasn’t more money. Loved the food although we only had 4 different types of pizza and focaccia but the service screwed up twice.
