I’ve been staying here since before this place had a restaurant or rooms for rent (check the last name). The place includes friendly staff, friendly neighbors, and friendly dad and grandparents. The location is unrivaled, including direct access to the beach from the pool where the beach is located in a corner that minimizes beach traffic. It’s as if you are on a private beach! The restaurant is incredible serving a variety of foods every night for reasonable prices. You will lose track of the days as you spend your time eating, drinking, and relaxing on the beachside hammocks in perfect weather that lasts year round. You will most likely catch the owner (my granddad) or the manager (my dad) playing live music during your dinner stay. The experience is very personal and you will feel as part of the family instead of just another guest staying in a hotel. In conclusion, this spot in Rio Hato is a slice of paradise. I’m happy our family now gets to share it with people all over, and if you decide to stay here, you will create memories that last a lifetime.

Amazing place, great staff, great chef & everything you can ask for in a vacation. Amazing owners and would highly recommend the Casa Guardia to anyone looking for a vacation spot!

The paradise.... everything makes to enjoy the place. Almost private beach. Owners have breakfast eith you and make you just fall in love in them.

Perfect location just by the sea. Very warm and welcoming host and staff, they make sure that everything is alright. We will definitely come back

A beautiful property in a tranquil location right on the beach. It has an excellent swimming pool and chill out area. The staff and the owners are very friendly, familiar and helpful. There is Beautifull garden and excellent restaurant. I strongly recommend this place. -The location right on the beach, and away from the crowds makes this place, but beware it is about a 15 minute walk to other restaurants and there is not a lot of choice. Luckily the food at Casa Guardia is excellent.

Best secret place in Panama. What a beautiful beach paradise. Details and luxury. Food was amazing. Service perfect.

A very mixed experience. The gardens, pool area and house are lovely. The food is great. But this is not a 4 star hotel. We had room 4 which is directly above the restaurant and you can hear every whisper from below. We understand it has only been used for guests recently but shouldn’t be used and is a example of the hotel trying to squeeze $ from the clients. DO NOT BOOK ROOM 4 UNLESS YOU ARE DEAF! The hotel is fading slowly with a strange shrine of pictures of the owners family in the restaurant, clutter in the common and office areas, dust and leaves behind furniture, worn rugs on the landing and no bedside lamps in our room. Given the $ and that the hotel positions its self as a 4 star you would be better off somewhere else..which is a shame as the location and house are great.

I loved my stay at Casa Guardia. Tony is on his game, and the property is amazing. Secluded area that is perfect for a quiet getaway. The pool is cool and clean. The beach is easily accessible and, at the end of the strip, creates a personal feel. Rooms were clean, food and drink were great, what else can I say. Just get there and see for yourself!

It doesn’t get much better than this place! Beautiful property and accommodations. It was everything and more. The food was fantastic and hospitality was even better. Had the honor of meeting the family who owns and runs it. Wonderful conversations and memories that we will never forget. Thank you Tony, Enrique and Karin for your hospitality! ❤️
