It was so nice to just kick back, let the waves and the captain escort us on an island tour where we saw dolphins and fish very near the surface of the water. My Sister did the homework and found this "Private Boat Tour". Jason was our captain. Very kind, knowledgeable and down to earth dude. My Sister taught the captain and me something new about wearing the life vest and we were both very impressed. It was suppose to be a 3 hour tour (Like Gilligan's Island) 😉, instead we got the best of 2 hours. A nasty rain storm pounded the boat on the way in, but we still enjoyed ourselves and had lotsa laughs with Jason. Apparently there are boats with slides to slide down. We didn't get one of these and I'm okay with that. There's about 100 ft from one side of the island to the other and there's a lil hike path to get there. My Sister and decided we spend enough time on land and she stayed in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and I was content watching from the boat and enjoying my music and the nice breeze that provided comfort on a pretty humid day. I would highly advise you check it out. Oh.....did I mention the "Ice Cream Boat"? It was sooo cool. We had to try it. $5.00 for any of the variety ice cream bars they had on board. It hit the spot. Definitely have to do it at least once, but don't get use to paying practically double for something you'd pay just a couple bucks though. I'm really way more conservative with my spending, but want the experience as I am on vacay!!!

We had the absolutely best time! Our guide was Eddie and he was so great and easy going. He really enjoyed his job! We will be forever repeat customers! Get the 3 or 4 hour tour. The 2 hours wasn’t enough for us! We can’t wait to go back! The dolphin hunt was so fun and jumping in the water to swim with them. We loved shell island. It was fantastic!

Local history. The museum has rotating exhibits and changes about quarterly. Right now, it's an exhibit of transportation that formed Bay County - Bay Line [Railway, Bus, Boat] and International Paper. Next exhibit will be a miniature train exhibit during the holidays. Old cameras, pottery, irons, glassware and more. Also records of "First Families" are available at the museum. Local historical, Marlene Womack, is often present to discuss her books and to sell her books. Come once, come often.

My wife found this for our family and this was our second year doing this. Our guides name was Chad. He was awesome. Was very knowledgeable about the area and the tour. We saw the dolphins and was able to get in water with one of them. Also came up on a very large Ray. Did some snorkeling and it was just a beautiful day. Went perfect. Any trip we come on here we will always book a visit with Blue Dolphin tours. Highly recommend Chad also if he’s available!

We had the BEST time with Captain Guy! He was AWESOME!! We saw lots of dolphins and other wildlife and a very friendly and helpful guide, this was by far our favorite part of vacation!!

Captain Mike was amazing! I highly recommend this company. The weather was against us but what can you do about that, we couldn’t get out and swim with dolphins because the water was just too choppy/aggressive and the dolphins didn’t want to hang around long. The storm rolling in did create an exciting boat trip though! Our captain was knowledgeable and personable and we got so close to a couple dolphins even with the waters being a little rough. Shell island and snorkeling and the beach were incredible! The water was so clear and I found a ton of creatures to share with my kids. On the way back we found some sea turtles too! This was my favorite part of our vacation.

Informative, with John being an excellent docent; even gave us a good tip about lunch and other historical sites in Panama City.

This is our second time out. Captain Mike is amazing!!! It was too cold for us to get in the water but we seen a TON of dolphins. One even played with us a bit swimming under the boat, popping up and doing a belly roll, then swimming to the other side. I cannot recommend this company or Captain Mike enough. When we come back to Florida, we will return to Blue Dolphin Tours again as well.

We had such a great time! Went in yhe morning before it got busy. Swam with a fun dolphin that stuck around playing with a fish it caught. Found some great shells. 2nd time. Never disappointed. Captain Mike was very knowledgeable. Made the tour a lot of fun. Super happy we did this. Husband LOVED it. The kids did too.

We had a blast and a rare treat. Instead of Dolphins we got to swim with manatees. Best experience of our lives. Turtle is the best captain if you can I would request him. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have gotten not only close but swim next to them and touch them. They were so cute! Turtle made our experience priceless and unforgettable!!!!

They have a wonderful Bay county historical collection, things you can find nowhere else. Recognized by this professional historian as a unique place where history adventures begin!

Turtle was a great tour guide. He made our family feel comfortable. Not all of us were brave enough to swim with the dolphins and he didn’t make us feel pressured. He made sure each of us had a great experience. We learned how to find sand dollars and starfish (leaving them behind of course). We definitely got some dolphin time! The boat wasn’t the most comfortable. But the captain and experience was great.

Cute little free museum. You probably only need 20 minutes here. Free entry. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating: They weren't open when advertised. I had to make a number of calls and finally got someone to open it up about an hour and a half after it was supposed to be open.

One of a kind experience with Captain Turtle! Very clean boat, masks and snorkels! He really cared about giving us an amazing trip swimming with the dolphins and he did! We saw so many dolphins and a sea turtle! Looking forward to another great time!

I know there the whole Covid 19 has effected everyone, however when you call a company to get info on if they are open "AKA I want to give them my money " and giving tours because you have seen on the news beaches are open on a limited base , and the person who answers the phone is rude when I was asking asking questions does not make me what to help this company out when the ban is lifted. FYI, a little courtesy goes a long ways for people who want to do business with you.

We did a private tour with our family and the entire trip was amazing and well worth the money spent, a true value! Our boat was captained by Captain Mike and he made the trip wonderful. We saw numerous groups of dolphins which even included some “babies”, our boys snorkeled a ship wreck, we visited Shell Island, and did some boat riding/sight seeing. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! We would do this again in a heartbeat if the opportunity to is ever there again.

We went out with Captain Mike yesterday for a 3 hour tour and had the best time. We saw so many dolphins(including baby dolphins!) found shells at Shell Island, and the kiddos and husband got to snorkel some. Captain Mike was super knowledgeable and personable, and we will 100% be back next year. It was definitely a highlight of our trip!

My wife and family had an amazing time. We had some bad weather the day before our voyage and they were in constant contact with us and rescheduled us for the very next day. It has been my wife’s dream to swim with dolphins. Dreams come true. Our captain, Captain Guy knew all the places to get the best looks, navigated us so we could jump in within 5 or so feet of dolphins, turtles and an amazing sandbar for snorkeling. Captain Guy was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. He took good care of us. I cannot recommend Blue Dolphin Tours highly enough. I wish I could give more than five stars. Thank you all so much.

We did the two hour tour, our captain's name was Chad and it was absolutely incredible. We arrive ten minutes early and was able to board the boat, Chad went out of his way to help load our things, and to make sure we had everything ready to go. We were able to jump and swim with three sets of wild dolphins. We jumped off the boat and he would tell you to look down, they swam right under us. Then we went on to do some snorkeling. Chad took us to an amazing spot not many people were there so it felt like we had the ocean to our self. I am ready to go again. I highly recommend and ask for Chad. Captain guy was the best boat captain we’ve ever had! We had the best time with blue dolphin and will definitely be back. We swam with dolphins, saw a huge ray jump out of the water, collected so many shells and sand dollars, and saw turtles! 10/10 day!

Had an amazing tour with capt mike. He put my children safety first as we had a storm pop up while on the water. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We spotted several dolphins and he always was able to get up close. We decided to not get into the water due to the tide and waves but it was still an experience we will never forget and truly thankful for this team!

Captain Mike was great! This was everyone's favorite part of our trip. Highly recommend! We couldn't go out into the gulf cause the water was just too bad but we still were able to go to shell island, snorkel and got to see some dolphins.

Our dolphin tour was amazing!!! We did a 4 hour tour with snorkeling, shell Island, and dolphins. It was the best experience I've ever had vacationing. Our captain was absolutely amazing. He intercepted a pod of dolphins for us 5 times trying to help my wife get close enough to touch one because she loves dolphins so much. Captain Guy is our favorite captain ever. Not only did we see everything we asked to (dolphins mainly) but we saw even more than we bargained for. Keith was our captain for our 4 hr private tour and he was extremely patient with us with the many attempts to swim with the dolphins.

Do to weather we were advised that we would not be able to snorkel or see dolphins. We were offered the chance to still go out to sea even though there would be rough waters, big waves, rain and thunder. Will adjust to zero stars if refund not Given. Rating four stars based on customer service when booking event and having chosen this organization based on other positive ratings as well as the expectation a d possibility of a refund.

We loved it. We saw nearly 20 bottle nosed dolphins. Captain Mike was awesome! It was the best birthday gift we could have ever given our daughter. We booked a private tour. 10/10 would do it again!!

Dumped us to swim from the boat to the beach without warning. It wasn't terrible, but the water was green/ brown so it was scary you couldn't see. No point in taking snorkel stuff.. you can't see.

The Captain of the boat was fun and entertaining. He did catch a Globe Jelly fish for us to feel and hold. The waters were murky so there was no swimming with Dolphins. We were not taken anywhere to snorkel for the same reasons that the water was too murky. The part that we were not prepared for was them taking us to shell island and us having to swim to the shore. I didn’t see in any of the other reviews where they had to swim to the shore to explore Shell Island. It was a good family bonding time. Disappointed we didn’t go anywhere to snorkel.

Keaton (Turtle) was AWESOME! Best experience of our whole week here in Panama City Beach!!! We got to swim with 5 dolphins! And since they are wild animals and not in an enclosure (like some hillbilly places that put making a dollar over preserving a quality of life for beautiful creatures with higher IQs than most people I've met in 40 years) haha! But really.... The private tour is the same price as going on a packed boat with over 100 people who scare the dolphins off and you're lucky to see one surface over the course of a day! Definitely check out the Blue Dolphin Private Tour if you're in Panama City Beach!

Was a wonderful experience! We had Keaton aka Turtle for our captain and he was great! We got to see and swim with several dolphins he setup us up with all sightings with the dolphins perfect.

We had a GREAT experience with our family of 6 and Captain Bryce on the Blue Dolphin Tour. We got to see many dolphins and he was great about getting us really close to them as we swam . We also requested to grab some shells and Shell Island, so he made sure that happened. This was the perfect 2 hour excursion - a short car ride from Rosemary Beach. We would highly recommend it - ask for Bryce!

Had a life changing experience with this company today. Our guide found several different dolphin groups for us to jump in with. One got SO close to me! I was able to see a pod up close in the water AND I even got to see and swim with a manatee! 100% worth all the money they charge. I will NEVER forget this amazing day!

Captain Guy is the man to see! Not only is he professional, but he is such a nice man and an absolutely FANTASTIC Captain. He can navigate his way around those big ol waves in the pass like it's nothing! Our 13 and 14 year old daughters loved him, and the experience. We got to see so many dolphins and about 15-20 sharks! He also knows where to take you to find the best shells! Give em a try, i promise you won't be disappointed!

Loraine was awesome!! She got us up close and personal with the Dolphins and we got to snorkel with so many cool fish and we saw a HUGE eagle ray. It was amazing! Couldn’t have had a better tour guide!

Blue dolphin tours was so fun, they had us ready to go once we got there, very nice and friendly! We absolutely loved this tour. Our guide Keaton, aka The Turtle, was incredible. We did the 2 hour tour, and saw dolphins right next to us. We even jumped in the water with them! Keaton explained everything and ensured we have a great experience. We then snorkeled in one the most beautiful waters I’ve ever seen! I’d highly recommend this tour. Next time, we’ll do the 3 hour one!
