His secretary was in close contact with me via whatsapp prior to the appointment to guide me and then in person once I arrived. As a Canadian, I was a little worried to attend a specialist in a foreign country but in the end I was happy with the process and look forward to continue working with Mario for my health needs going forward.

If I could give Dr Herrera 10 stars, I would. I came to Dr Herrera in a bad way. I had 2 urinary obstructions in 30 days and was wearing a catheter. I researched who did the Rezum procedure and as of this writing, Dr Herrera is the only doctor in Panama who does the procedure. From the start, Dr Herrera was accommodating, responsive and answered all my questions. It has been one month since my procedure and my symptoms are substantially better. I have probably seen more than 20 doctors in my life and I can honestly say that I have never had a better experience with a doctor. Also, for those considering the Rezum procedure, I have heard testimonials stating that the procedure can be quite painful. Since Dr Herrera did the procedure under general anesthesia, I was spared that painful experience.
