Excellent food! Crab Phyllo rolls, deconstructed tiramisu, smoked chicken pizza, Tuscan Pork Belly, pastaaa. Pritam was an excellent server. Food was served quick and hot. Ambience is welcoming ❤️

A cozy fine-dining experience with no loud music! I met my friends after a year, and it was the perfect place for lunch. Loved each and every dish we ordered! Absolutely an authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of the City of Joy. ❤️ We’ve ordered spiced chicken & onion Bruschetta , Aglio Olio pizza, Ravioli pasta, Apple Crostata !! We went here for my birthday celebration.. this is one of the fancy restaurant in Kolkata.. aesthetic ambience, refreshing cocktail and mocktails.. great and fast service, well behaved staffs made this restaurant so overwhelmed and welcoming.. we took their spicy chicken pizza from their kitchen , they have fresh dough for pizza and pasta also .. pizza came from wooden oven and pizza was literally so spicy and full of chicken and cheese . They used olive oil, feta cheese, rosemary to make authentic Italian food in city of joy .. and last but not the least desert was so lipsmacking but pasta was not worthy.. also they served the desert with birthday note on special request..

Sorano is a piece of Italy in Kolkata, because of its interior and obviously the food too.. The ambience is really nice,European style There are three places to sit,with ample seating capacity. The service was average,however unlike the rest of the places,the waiter mentioned all the ingredients and patiently suggested and explained us what we might like,which helped us decide what to order. However we zeroed on a Sorano signature pizza - I honestly didn't like it much. It has mushroom,olives toppings with a tangy flavour. But the bread texture and quality were amazing. Bang of nature (mocktail) - this was sooo good. Cafe latte - average. However since we could try only one item from the menu I'll def come back later to try other items.

Amazing authentic italian dishes. There's a beautiful counter where you can see the hand made pasta which you're being served. The place is styled with very good taste. Everything felt very premium and yes very expensive too.

We had high expectations about this restaurant. We were ushered to a table near the window facing the road. Comfortable seating. The table was not customary set as in other fine dining restaurants. A casual approach to service. The service was not upto the mark. Food tasted nice but not as good as Italian restaurants in Italy. The authentic taste was missing to say the least. Since this place is a bar cum dining, the upbeat music is a bothersome backburner. One just could not relax whilst enjoying the food. Music and food complement each other, and this issue was upsetting for us. Given the prices of food items, fine dining, are over the edge, overall satisfaction is not guaranteed.

Authentic! The appearance, aroma and flavour of the food here matches what is shown in social media about Italian food. And the portions are generous too. I am a big fan of simple, lightly flavoured pasta and I found it here. The cocktails were good too. The ambience was classy and premium and the service was prompt and polite. Has its own parking lot. Price-wise, it's on the higher side but the overall experience is worth it.

We went for our anniversary celebration and Sorano was outstanding. Everything from the food to service to ambience was impeccable and great for the romantic vibes we wanted for our evening. Food: we had the chicken bruschetta, crab rolls, chicken tortellini, gelato and some cocktails to go with it. We every loved single dish (and drinks) except for may be the crab rolls which I think is an acquired taste. Service: the staff was polite, attentive and helpful without being too intrusive. They helped us pick the right dishes and made sure we had room for dessert 🙂 Ambiance: as promised, the decor is upscale Italian and quite instagram worthy! The entrance to the venue might be a bit of a surprise though for those who aren’t used to how things are in Kolkata. There is valet parking. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

If you want Italian food, this is the apt place that will serve you Italian dishes. Starting from the decor, interior, ambience, food, service... All are good, worth a place to visit with your loved ones. The pizza is genuinely better than the other pizza places in the city.

This is one of the best and authentic Italian restaurant in Kolkata. I have been many times and the food is excellent. The service is perfect and the waiter are amazing. Highly recommended.

Italian fine dining in the heart of Kolkata. Mushroom Forest and the Sorano Signature pizza are must tries. Great cocktails as well
