The Pavagadh hill and temple are steeped in history and are believed to have been visited by Lord Rama during his exile. The temple has been a popular pilgrimage site for centuries and attracts thousands of devotees every year, particularly during the Navratri festival. The temple complex is beautifully designed, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning the walls and ceilings. The main shrine of the temple houses a beautiful idol of the goddess Mahakali, which is believed to be more than 500 years old. The temple also has several other shrines dedicated to various gods and goddesses. The hill itself is also worth exploring, with several other temples and historical sites located on its slopes. There are several trekking routes that lead to these temples, and the views from the top are simply breathtaking. Visitors can also enjoy a stroll through the beautiful gardens and parks located around the base of the hill. Overall, Pavagadh Temple Mandir and Hill is an excellent destination for anyone interested in history, religion, and nature. The temple complex is a marvel of architecture and design, while the hill provides a stunning natural backdrop for the religious sites. I highly recommend this destination to anyone visiting Gujarat.

Pavagadh Hill, Gujarat, offers a serene escape with breathtaking views. The ropeway adds excitement, swiftly ascending to the ancient Kalika Mata Temple. A perfect blend of spirituality and adventure.

Always buy tickets from online so you can avoid ticket que there. And always select ordinary working day. Best timings are early mornings 7 to 8 am. Otherwise the waiting is too large at ropway to and fro both..

Pavagadh, a scenic mountain in Halol taluka of Panchmahal district, is considered as sacred Shakti Peetha, religious pilgrimage and natural beauty of the Gujarat State. On the highest peak of this scenic mountain, resides the shakti swarup Jagatajanani Maa Kalika, a huge number of devotees visits there and are feel blessed by seeing the Maa Mahakali.

It was an excellent experience...i was engaged in everything which caught the line of sight of my eyes...the sceneries, the natural beauty, everything just goes hand in hand. The shopping area was pretty cool too. I got to see many antiques and goods...yes it was a pretty calorie burning trip! The main point of attraction is the Udan-Khatola there..it was my first time in it, and I totally enjoyed it. The temple on the head of mountain had so much beautiful scenes looking at the whole pavagadh from all above with a beautiful temple behind you. The temple was super awesome! It had so many carvings just like an ancient temple! It had a very good vibe. That's all for my review...Jai Mahakali ! 🙏

Fantastic hill station with deep religious affinity. People visit this place for a pilgrimage to goddess Kali atop the hill. Nice sight seeing from the top of the hill. Number of ponds are there on the hill that enhance the beauty even further.

I visited Pavagadh Hill on Sunday morning so it was a little crowded. I suggest booking tickets of roop way online so you won't have to wait in line, the ticket price is 120 per head. Otherwise you can climb through steps also. There are a total of 1800 steps with shops on both sides You can also munch there. The view from the hills is very good and it has very pleasant weather to be in. Recommended to visit early in the morning so you will avoid the sun at noon. The bus facility is there to drop you will the roop way starts.

Pavagadh Hill "home to the Kalika Mata Temple" is a stunning destination for nature lovers, history buffs, and pilgrims alike. The hill is an ancient volcanic formation that offers panoramic views of the surrounding plains and forests. One of the oldest and most revered shrines of Goddess Kali in India. The temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
