Room is bad, dirty, old, moldy. The breakfast has a lot of variety, but not delicious at all.

This review is dedicated to the restaurant of the Grand Whiz Hotel Trawas. The staff is so friendly. The price is reasonable for the hotel restaurant rate. I ordered wedang jahe and chicken gordon bleu. Especially for the chicken gordon bleu has big portion and the taste is right. For wedang jahe is using the real ginger. It serves with both white or brown sugar option and we can either add it or not. The place is quite comfortable to do some work and even zoom meeting. But, the wifi is kinda hard to access in the first time but after that it is stable. It has 4 table that each of that can afford 3 people and 3 big table can afford up to 3 people but with sofa option.

Very expensive and unworthy Dlundung Waterfall buffet service. The foods weren't special and got contaminated by the waterfall mist, thus the spoon & fork which we used was saved in moldy cupboard. We got sore throat and fever now.

Located on the valley, it's an old hotel formerly Grand Trawas... it has warm hospitality with affordable price... the scenery is good, you can choose between mountain view or garden view, mine was mountain view.. the room is comfy but a bit noisy since it's near cafe (this cafe has live music but only until around 10 pm).. the breakfast was good... there's no full course buffet but it has several stalls offering Indonesian food like pecel, soto and nasi goreng (it even has nasi padang too..!) and patisseries (I love the donut btw).. during weekend there'll be live music, rabbit petting and coloring.. this hotel also has swimming pool (around 1,6m deep) and mini waterpark.. there's no elevator in this hotel but it has ramp to facilitate the guest

My second time here and always been my favorite place to stay. They have a new building with a modern concept and still a spacious area. Their breakfast was good, you can have it at the jungle cafe with the best view of Mt Arjuna.

Good service.. we came earlier and receptionist welcoming us and prepare the room even it still not checking time. They also offer to upgrade to new room (by add some cash) but explain the location and facility. But we prefer the current (old/main hotel) because it's near the swimming pool and playground something good for the kids. Rooms is wide and clean. We get room facing the garden on lower front very nice as we travel with old person with wheelchair. And this hotel is very good for wheelchair access even it's kind of steep to pass it but yeah it's acceptable as the hotel in contouring area (with hilly location). Although room is clean but its kind older. Furniture outdated and bathroom sufficient with working hot shower. But get problem with the wash basin (washtafel) and shower door. Other facility like TV lamp water kettle is available. Overall if just looking a short getaway the old location is good. But for looking new updated may try hotel upgrade location in exchange of slightly far from pool. SWIMMING POOL is so great with mountain scenery fresh cold water (but for kiddie pool just shallow may lack of facility/not kind water play).Breakfast is ordinary but if you prefer outside with warm sunshine then get mountain view.Even for wheelchair could pass it. Conclusion outdated but still not obsolete hotel for visitor who like simple economic stay.

Hotel is not well maintained. Some are of the hotel are broken such as wood flooring in the room, dirty wall paint, stain on the blanket, etc Receptionist desk does not have a bell, the staff might be inside several times so it’s hard to call them when they are inside. The wi fi is so slow.

Visited the restaurant w/ my fams because I heard it has great view. Visited 2 months ago, and it really has great view. But, the taste of food not really good, drinks also not match with price. Steak so thin, cannot be eaten because it was really hard, and also dry (I need to go back and forth to counter because no one served us, write my own orders,etc.). Positive things are: 1. view, 2. activities outdoor (horse riding for kids, etc.)

We stayed for one night. We got room faces the mountain. Unfortunately there is Jungle cafe in front of our room. We have been informed before about this but somehow we felt uncomfortable. It’s too loudly. During weekend is too crowded. Grand Whiz has to improve about the breakfast menu. We did not enjoy the breakfast at all.

Very sorry to say but it's a far cry from when it was the Grand Trawas. Wanted a dessert on the menu just to find they didn't have any. Only normal gorengan was available. I mean seriously for the prices charged it's a joke. Had coffee and it was mediocre at best. The toilets were definitely not serviced regularly. Seems that the coffee shop opened just after the hotel was better attended. Apart from the amazing views it's not worth it.

This hotel used to be called as Grand Trawas. Room is nice. 24 hours room service, ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu with Rattatouile; it's tasty. Hotel has a great view of Mt. Penanggungan and a pool. Hotel has outdoor stalls sell indonesian foods such as Rujak Cingur, Tahu Campur, Bakso, and many more. Taste good and reasonable price. Also has cafe called Jungle Cafe, faced directly into Mt. Penanggungan.

Very nice hotel, i am very impressed with staffs service while i got here. Have a really good time at the hotel. Highly recommended! Will come back at next opportunity for sure!

Honestly the view and the backyard cafe is wonderful. Especially for family gathering. But the hotel management and other facilities don’t seem wonderful as the view. Too old room facilities with no upgrades. The water heater on the shower doesn’t really work. And this hotel’s located in a pretty cool area. Kind of crucial thing for some people. Especially local guests.
