I did 200 YTT with Vinyasa Yoga Ashram, it was a wonderful experience. The teachers are very knowledgeable and kind, and the ashram staff was very hospitable. The food was amazing and I absolutely miss it. I got a private accommodation and was very happy with my room. It was a comfortable stay, I ended up making such great friends with other students and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. There was a lot to learn within a month’s period, you should come prepared to put in the effort for both asana and theory practice. It’s worth the time and money if you are keen on advancing your knowledge of yoga, highly recommended!

I couldn’t recommend this school any higher. The entire experience has been unforgettable and extremely transformational. The teachers are kind, knowledgeable, loving and treated me like there family. I felt so supported throughout my training journey and even after while I am still leaning and growing. The classes are filled with wisdom that I never expected to experience, my heart is full and my mind is still. I am at peace and can’t thank this school more for the continued love and guidance. If you are considering where to get your YTT consider Vinyasa Yoga Ashram, you won’t regret it. Few more points; the food is health simple and clean they cater for vegan, gluten free, dairy free, fodmap basically anything you can’t eat they will be able to accommodate for that. The excursions are super fun and a great way to explore Rishikesh. They take you to places you wouldn’t usually know or go to. The extra touches like massages, sound healing, aerial, mantra chanting and silence day were great!! They also have a photograph that captures great photos throughout your experience

My experience at VYA for 200-hrs TTC was incredible. The course contents exceeded my expectations. All instructors have an abundance of knowledge in their field, and they also know how to connect to students and create a leaning environment without stress or pressures. I really liked Asana instructors emphasized safe practice. They do “crazy postures” as demonstration, and guide us to be in the posture to our maximum limit, at the same time they make sure all the students' safety as we practice. Pranayama, Philosophy and Meditation, these are the subjects I needed to learn to understand Yoga. From day one, I was treated with courtesy, respect, and kindness by the staff and all the instructors. When you are treated as such for 24 days, that itself can change how you think about yourself – you're worthy, and you can be just how you are. The food was delicious! I will miss the food at VYA. My favorite was tomato soup. I’m glad I chose Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. In addition to obtain a Yoga Alliance Certificate, they taught me tools to live a happy and healthy life, If you truly want to learn yoga, this is the place for you. Anupritha, Ji – Thank you for offering me kitchari when I was sick. Darmyan, Ji - Thank you for correcting alignments during Asana class and all other help while I was there.

The experience at the vinyasa yoga ashram was incredible: intense and very enriching both in terms of theoretical, practical and spiritual contents. The simple room and the vegetarian food coherently with the experience. Seeing the professionalism of the teachers open up in a sweet smile was nice. I recommend this spiritual journey to the vinyasa ashram to all those who want to know themselves through yoga and Hindu philosophy.

I've recently completed RYT-200 and Pre/Post Natal YTT from Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. The entire journey was an enriching experience in the sense every teacher here had an extensive knowledge of the field. Yoga earlier was just Asana practice for me, but after the course the greatest change was integrating yoga as a way of life right from breathing consciously to the small yet subtle impact of mindfulness in every routine. Heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers who shared so much and will continue to be lifelong inspiration. I'd recommend this program to everyone who wants to deepen their own sadhna(practice) and share this profound knowledge with the world.

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is highly recommended. Most distinguishing features are the teachers, curriculum and the food. Don’t expect as if you are going to a retreat since YTT is not a retreat it’s a learning for lifetime. I had the most amazing experience and I know for the fact that I can reach out to the teachers and the staff anytime I need them. I am definitely coming back for YTT 300 after practicing my learnings. ❤️ 🤗

My name is Anastasiia, I’ve completed pre-post natal yoga in June 2023. The course is very interesting, teachers are caring and trying to pass all the information they know to the students. During the course we enjoyed gentle stretches, breath techniques and birthing advices all related to the special conditions and trimesters of future moms to be. The place is amazing with the great atmosphere in there. I’m already a mom myself so it was very interesting to learn from the different prospects. Highly recommend.

Amazing! I've done my 200hr yttc and pre, post natal course from vinyasa yoga ashram. It was more than a yoga teacher training course. There is something about this place which just makes one not wanting to leave after the course. Coming to the course: Teachers: I would rather call them gurus for they don't hoard the knowledge they possess and gives out as much as possible. Pradeep sir's knowledge is immaculate and he breaks down complex things to make it beginner friendly. Anupritha ma'am is a tiny box filled with joy and positivity. Her anatomy and pranayama added a great value to the course. She is so approachable and always available for any sort of help, both personal and course related. Philosophy class of bhagyasree ma'am helps one dive into understanding their inner self. Ashtanga by Arvind ji and vinyasa by Ashish sir were great. Environment: the staff is kind and helpful. Food: it's satvic diet so just gets better with time. The schedule is well designed and evaluation is taken strictly. The best part is their excursions on Wednesdays. Overall my stay has been great and I can't wait to go back for 300 hr yttc.

I finished my 500h training at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. I couldn’t be more happy that this was the school I decided to do my training with. All the teacher had deep knowledge of their subject, the atmosphere in Ashram is very family like, providing safe environment and encouragement for authentic yoga studies. Beside intensive curriculum, we had some well organised free time outside the Ashram, visiting spiritual places and nature. I really enjoyed a good mix of likeminded local and international students of different ages and backgrounds, and you can be sure that by the end of the course it is going to be one time of experience!

It was a great experience to spend 25 days of my life with this Ashram. Teachers have years of knowledge and experience and are always ready to share their knowledge as much as they can. They are supportive enough to create a comfortable and home like environment for the students. Campus is clean, hygienic and sufficient to live a simple life. Food is satvik, healthy, nutritious and surely tasty. Campus staff are polite and supportive all the times. It was a wonderful experience overall❤️

Completed my 300hrs YTT here. Overall, it was a good yogi experience. Learned Ashtanga Intermediate series here. I would recommend this course if you are looking for deeper understanding in anatomy and alignment and improving your teaching methodology. However, if you are an Ashtangi looking for traditional practice and more focus on intensive asana practice, Ashtanga intensive course in a shala or in Mysore might be an alternative option for you. Depends on your goal and intention. Can't have both at a time :) The most recommended parts are the hands-on adjustment and alignment and anatomy classes taught by Pradeep Ji. The adjustment skills Pradeep Ji shared are very useful, efficient and non-aggressive (to prevent the unnecessary injuries for your future students). He can teach Ashtanga series in both traditional and non-traditional ways and his drills are good for certain challenging poses, like eka pada sirsasana. He is not an old school teacher telling you what is right and what is wrong or what you ought to do or what not ought to do. He shows you options and you make the choice. I guess it's hard to find another teacher like him in Rishikesh... Anupritha Ji, on the other hand, is a beautiful and very caring person. She is very open minded to the opposite voices and always tries her best to help each student go through their difficulties. Her smile is always affectionate :) Our Vinyasa teacher Ashish Sir is a very experienced and observant teacher. He can lead a relaxing flow and he can also give you functional training for your handstand practice. Depends on students' capability and requests. One VERY IMPORTANT note: they served breakfast for 300hrs students at 10:00 and lunch at 13:30. (If it matters to you lol ) Last but not least, holding a title of teacher or a certificate of YTT completion doesn't grant anyone the teacher's chair. Always work hard, keep the consistency in practices and make EXTRA effort to earn the title and respect :)

We planned a day before and attended 200 hours yoga classes. It was great experience, also feel why we missed earlier. Living without self caring is biggest mistake which everyone is doing in this materialistic world. Yoga taught us how to live for ourself. Ultimate goal of life is to live healthy and with peace of mind. Yoga is first and final step to achieve. Yoga with Vinyasa Yoga institute was great as faculties are very good, general arrangement is taken care of very well. Love to be part of Vinyasa family for forever. Hope this institute will be guiding coming generations with same stream. Proud to be part of Vinyasa family

If you are looking to learn yoga in Rishikesh, look no further. This is the best Yoga School in Rishikesh. I researched a lot before joining their aerial yoga TTC. I got a lot of good reviews for this one that's when I decide to attend it. The teachers so supportive and encouraging. It's a very vibrant place with people from across the world coming to learn and teach. The accomodation is clean, the food is good, and the location is perfect.

Hari Aum Everyone, I had done 200hour TTC and Pre-Post Natal TTC at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram. I must say the teachers here are amazing and have a lot of knowledge to share. Their way of teaching is also great. The management too is very caring and supportive. Food her is simple but very tasty and helps you detox. Being here was one of the best experiences of my life. I discovered my love for Yoga after coming here. The teachers truly want their students to learn in best possible way and have an amazing method of teaching. If you are planning on doing a Teacher Training Course then this is the best place. Thank you.

I finished my 200h YTTC at the vinyasa yoga ashram. The ashram was recommend. It was meant to be. I made the decision to absolve my training in India and 2 hours later I meet a guy how finished this YTTC at this ashram as well and highly recommend it to me. And I’m glad I trust him. The 3 weeks was flying and I collect memories for a lifetime and had a amazing journey! I never thought I’ll become a ashtanga girl but here we are. I challenge myself and grow so much. We learned a lot about the postures in alignment and anatomy what is a really important part and I think sometimes missed the importance in other schools. They teacher are amazing and have a lot of knowledge. They help out with any kind of question and try to serve everyone. I can really highly recommend this school if you looking for a good ashtanga vinyasa teacher trainee. And the food (really important part for me) was also really good! The area around the ashram is cute as well with a waterfall near by. Enjoy your yoga journey 🙏🏽🤍

I had the privilege of choosing Vinyasa Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh after extensive research, and I must say it was a decision I will cherish forever. My experience there during the 200-hour YTT program was nothing short of exceptional. The teachers not only possessed immense knowledge but also exuded kindness and compassion. Throughout my stay, the ashram staff extended warm hospitality, making me feel truly welcome. The food at the ashram was smile and exceptional, I find myself longing for those delicious vegetarian meals. The private accommodation provided a comfortable and cozy space, perfectly suited for a minimalist lifestyle. However, what made my time at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram truly extraordinary was the opportunity to form deep connections with fellow students. During the month-long program, I had the privilege of immersing myself in a wealth of knowledge, including asanas, theory, and spiritual practices. It was evident that both practical and theoretical aspects of the course demanded significant effort and dedication. One particular aspect that made my experience even more special was the exceptional care I received for my back injury. Prior to joining Vinyasa Yoga Ashram, I had informed the teachers about my condition, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Aunprita Mea'm and Ram Jii took extra care, providing one-on-one sessions and modifying yoga poses for my specific requirements. I am immensely grateful for their support and attentiveness. The professionalism and warmth displayed by the teachers, Specially Bhagyashree Mea'm, Aunprita Mea'm, Ram Sir, and Pradip Jii, left a lasting impression on me. Their dedication and genuine smiles reflected their deep commitment to the practice. I wholeheartedly recommend Vinyasa Yoga Ashram to anyone seeking self-discovery through yoga and Hindu philosophy. It is an experience that will leave a profound impact and guide you on a transformative path.

With only a few months of yoga experience (I had never heard of Ashtanga or Hatha - so, yeah…that kind of few) I decided to travel all the way to Rishikesh to follow the 200 hours course. Not with the intention to become a teacher, but just to learn more. And I absolutely did. All the angsty cliches were there: Will I be physically able to do it? Will I fit in? Will I even like it? Yada yada yada….And - big shocker! - the answers were ‘yes’. Everybody was so kind and welcoming. They all knew my name and chatted with me in the common areas. I felt very at home. I made friends here that I absolutely want to stay in contact with. I miss them already. And, no, I couldn’t do a headstand on the first day there, but you don’t even have to. You start from the very beginning, gradually working towards the more advanced asanas (I’m looking at you, crow pose). I felt my body getting stronger every day and by the time we attempted these postures, we all were surprised by our own abilities. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and diverse in their style of teaching. Yet every class was a nice balance of serious, formal lecturing while maintaining a lighthearted atmosphere. Classes did not feel like an obligation, you want to attend and learn from them. If I could’ve stayed for the 300 hours course, I would’ve done it in a heartbeat. But I couldn’t, which means I have a great excuse to come back next year and visit Rishikesh and Vinyasa Yoga Ashram again. <3 And I honestly can’t wait. In the meantime I will continue to delve into the yogic discipline with as much zeal as I’ve felt this last month. PS. I’m good at volleyball. (Pradeep made me say it)

I had the privilege of choosing Vinyasa Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh after extensive research, and I must say it was a decision I will cherish forever. The teachers here are the best especially Arvind Sir and Shefali Mam, they were so supportive and tried to bring out the best in us. The stay , food and everything about this place is just awesome. Anyone who's even a bit confused about joining should go ahead without an iota of doubt. Trust me this decision won't disappoint you.❤️

All the teachers are very knowledgeable, passionate and joyful. It was a pleasure to participate to each class. All the classes are well interconnected therefore there is a continuity in the teaching that makes the understanding and memorizing of the different topics easier. The schedule of the day is well done giving the student enough time to study and rest if needed. The school is taking care of the students in an very friendly way and helps in everything and makes you feel really supported. The number of students in a group is perfect, so the teachers are able to assist each one when needed during the yoga practice. I really liked the food and appreciated the nice activities organized for the students on the days off, because it created a deeper connection in the group and some relaxing and funny moments to share. For me was a very good experience, that I can recommend to everyone intrested a teacher training course.☺️

In October 2023 I took Pre-Postnatal Yoga course at Vinyasa Yoga Ashram Rishikesh. It was a one-week very intense course based on Ayurvedic and Yogic approaches to the journey of new life creation and delivery to this world. For me, the most interesting part was to learn about all the preparations that a couple must make before the conception of the baby. The anatomy lessons were followed with wonderful visual presentations that made this quite a difficult topic to understand in the most adaptable and easy way. I very much enjoyed learning about couple yoga practice and all the asanas that can be done together with your partner. Wearing a pillow (imitation of pregnancy) on the belly helped me to feel the connection with the pregnant women that I might teach in the future, and gave me a sensation of better alignment during yoga practice of different asanas. Also, it helped me during the meditation session to engage with my inner mother and open up my motherhood sensation that was blocked and locked for many years. I think that Pre-Postnatal Yoga course in Vinyasa Yoga Ashram is designed in the best possible way to give a lot of valuable knowledge for future pre-postnatal coaches, but not only coaches, I think it will benefit any females that may in the future be mothers and will go thru all the pregnancy cycle, this course can be a best present to your self. Now I feel much more confident of having a baby in the future than I was before, therefore my honest gratitude to the teachers of Vinyasa Yoga Ashram.

Vinyasa Yoga Ashram holds a special place in my heart. My time there was truly transformative. The teachers’ depth of knowledge and expertise created an enriching learning experience. They guided me on a journey of self-discovery, helping me unlock new levels of growth in my practice. The supportive and nurturing environment fostered personal development and allowed me to upgrade myself in ways I never thought possible. Not only did I receive exceptional yoga instruction, but the experience was complemented by the incredible food provided. Each meal was a delight, nourishing both my body and soul. I’m immensely grateful to Vinyasa Yoga Ashram for the profound impact it has had on my yoga journey and personal growth. I highly recommend this ashram to anyone seeking a transformative and enriching experience.

I have just completed my 300h hours of training with vinyasa yoga Ashram. It has been a life-changing journey from the first day to the last. The students and teachers I met on this journey became my family for a month. The food, the place I stayed, the content of the training, everything was perfect. I wish it had never ended!

Detailed review!! I completed my prenatal, postnatal, 200 hours, and Aerial training here. I've been living here for over a month now. After extensive research, I discovered this school, and I have no regrets. From day 1 to my last day, which I sincerely hope never comes, I never felt like a stranger. Everyone here is warm and welcoming. Starting from the reception (Sanjay sir) he never ignores your needs and ensure constant support without any reason. In the kitchen, the staff is lovely, always trying to provide whatever you're looking for—never once said "no" to me, even for gluten-free rotis. There were times when I was late for meals, yet they managed to provide me one. The food is hygienic, simple, and comes in a variety 🥰. The teachers are filled with knowledge in their respective subjects, making every class truly interesting. You won't be able to resist listening; every point is valuable. They have a unique teaching style. Huge respect to Anupritha ma'am (pranayama), Ashish sir (vinyasa), Pradeep sir (anatomy), Prajana ma’am/Bhagyashree ma’am (philosophy/meditation), Sangam sir (alignment), and Arvind sir (ashtanga). Thanks to each of them. Beyond this, excursions and riverbank yoga are wonderful, leaving us with lasting memories. Special thanks to Shubham sir for ensuring to capture pictures of everyone around. I felt truly free to share and discuss any topic with anyone. The people are warm and gentle. Thank you 🙏. This felt like home! Coming back for sure! 🥰🥰 The assisting teachers are wonderful; without them, it would be really hard for students to fix their postures. Special thanks to Sahil sir and Dilin. Also, I don't want to miss mentioning Naman sir—he is lovely! They also provide complimentary sound healing and Bollywood dance. The rooms are clean, and there is hot water 24/7. I highly recommend the school; it's worth it!

I am trying to find the words to explain this journey with @vinyasayogaashram but it’s hard to compile it all in a few words. Truth is, I came with no expectations and left with a heart full of love and knowledge that will keep me grounded and calm in life. I was humbled. Truly. This journey was more than just perfecting my asanas or getting the certified 'yoga teacher' status. This journey was about self-development and self-expression of mind, body and soul. It is about stripping down to your purest form, letting go of your ego and turning up to class with an open mind ready to learn from some incredible teachers. Teachers that will support you throughout, that will guide you if you have any doubts and that will turn up to class with a warm and positive attitude enough to brighten up anyones day. The 200hrs course was an insightful into yoga, but if you want to go deeper into teaching methodology then definitely take the 300hrs. I am grateful for each and every person in this school. From the kitchen staff who made me tea when I was sick, to the cleaners who took care of my room and always greeted me with a smile, to the teachers who changed my perspective and my life and lastly the incredible group I had the absolute pleasure to be a part of. This place holds a special place in my heart for now and forever. Namaste.
