The staff there is amazing. I love this modern food style, vegan breakfast and lunch. It's closed in the evening, you should know. But I had the chock smoothie bowl with fresh and crispy kinda cereals in it. and while I waited for it I watched the cute kittens in the backyard. There were lots of cats. They have a diverse menu - you will definitely find something that you like.

We ate here maybe three times during our stay on the island. Very happy to have healthy vegan food, and were looking forward to having a burger as a change of pace. The food was very average. The ambiance was pleasant, cats roaming around, generous and kind staff. But the food wasn’t great. We tried both burgers each time and it’s hard to tell the difference. They’re both okay, but the biggest improvement we saw room for was the burger buns. I believe they are housemade which is great, but they were so sweet. It tasted like eating a bean burger in a pastry. The vegan mayonnaise was excellent, and we appreciated the salad on the burger - lots of fresh vegetables. The fries were hot and a nice difference from what we had been eating as well. We read all the reviews of the fruit bowls, so those might be a better bet. We just prefer savory foods to sweet foods so we stuck with the burgers anyway. If you’re looking for something sweet, this might be your place.

A very chill cafe that serves vegan food. We had the smoothie bowls and the toast. They were all very delicious. The smoothie bowl was quite a good portion with loads of ingredients in it. Highly recommended. Oh, and the coffee is quite good too.

If you're looking for a chilled beach hostel and cafe, this is the place that will make your trip! The smoothie bowls are delicious, and the coffee is strong. I love this place!

Delicious smoothie bowls & coffee (from the shack across the road). Lovely atmosphere and vibes here and the staff are so friendly. We came here 8 mornings for the 8 nights we were here. We did the yoga as well which was the best, would highly recommend! Thank you for everything ♥️

A hidden gem that you'll absolutely love – they offer incredible healthy vegetarian food, especially their unbeatable smoothie bowls. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming vibe. Plus, the reliable wifi makes it perfect for work or staying connected. It's a must-visit spot that combines fantastic food, a great ambiance, and friendly service.

Unfortunately not a good experience for us. We ordered muesli and a smoothie bowl and coffee and waited over 50 minutes with not so much as the coffees coming out to us. These are dishes that should be able to be served quickly with no cooking required and little preparation. There was no communication from the staff whatsoever on why the long delay, nor any indication that there would be one when we order. Others that came in later than us were served before us for reasons unknown. The lady making the food seemed very busy but there were other staff sitting around doing very little. We ended up walking out hungry to find another place to eat. Lovely atmosphere with great live music and cats running around playing. However, it's a shame that the basics of service and running a cafe were simply not there. I hope Indiana Cafe can take this feedback constructively and work on improving, as I prefer to see small business such as this succeed rather than fail.

This place feels like a little hidden gem! Slightly off the main road, so it’s a nice and chill spot🧘‍♀️ the smoothie bowls are amazing and it’s so great to have so many vegan options🌱 the little espresso bar next door too is amazing, best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Indiana is run by the coolest and friendliest team in Langkawi! Get ready to be welcomed by Melli, Napi, Wanjack and Amirul and be sure to grab your awesome coffee from Han’s Coffee Shack which is Indiana’s neighbor. All the smoothies bowls are delicious and tasty and the best thing the vegan options are healthy and come in really good portions. And if you feel adventurous you can book in a surf 🏄🏾‍♀️ lesson here and learn to ride The waves 🌊 in Langkawi!

Medium sized cafe just off the main road, nice atmosphere,a few cats sleeping under one of the tables. Friendly staff and the food was tasty. Nice to find some vegan dishes to try.

Nice people and good vibes, definitely! But to be honest, the smoothie bowl was really bad. We had two different bowls but both were completely liquid like smoothies for drinking. Also the granola is not granola but corn flakes.

Just finished 12 nights in Indiana. We really loved it there. The coffee stall has delicious coffee and we loved the daily live music. The dorm has everything you need and the place is cleaned everyday. Beds are comfy. It's close to the beach and town. You can rent a surfboard there also. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and we really did feel like family. Sad to leave this lovely place. Thank you for everything

This is a beautiful place with delicious food and very nice staff. The owner was so friendly and seemed si passionate. I had a smoothie bowl and a white coffee. Everything on the menu looked delicious, so i guess i’ll have ti come back to try something new. There were a few cats that kept me company ! I definitely recommend

WOW! This restaurant and staff is so welcoming, the food is delicious, and there are many cute cats to pet. Plus live music! I ate here many times, did yoga twice, and highly recommend you check it out.

Looking for something fresh and different from nasi then this is your place. I was crazing a burger and a smoothie bowl and these guys delivered big. Price are slightly higher but service and quality is amazing it’s a must visit place.

Lovely vegetarian cafe with ample vegan options. Staff are kind and friendly. Food is super tasty and lots of vegan options including burgers, sandwiches, smoothie bowls, waffles and cakes. They have lots of lovely cats who come and visit for a nap and pat. Prices are good too - bring cash only (ATM not far away on the main road). Bathroom facilities on site. They do yoga 7:30am a few days a week, although haven’t yet tried it. The ‘meaty’ burger and peanut butter smoothie were amazing!! Have been here twice already and will likely be back again soon! We ended up going to Indiana cafe every day of our stay on the island. Not only is the food delicious (the smoothie bowls are to die for!), the staff is beyond lovely. The place also has live music and cats roaming around, which add to the overall cozy vibe. Can‘t recommend this place enough!

Go for the vibes, smoothie bowl, live music and coffee from Alami! Spent a lovely Tuesday noon here listening to locals playing live music and smiling faces all around us. Great friendly service at a non-pretentious and authentic place. Must visit!

Just entered the cafe and instantaneously felt the happiest. Very friendly and welcoming staff, relaxing atmosphere, I had fruit 🍜 and Falafel 🌯, which were out of the world. Want to go again and try many other items

Decent vegan cafe food targeting mostly western tourists. Service was good and food was quite good too, tho they did not provide drinking tap water. Also, just a tad a little bit expensive. I had falafel wrap (RM23) and I think everyone must try ! It was not overly dry like most of the falafels that I’ve had and the wrap was warm when served. Gosh I sound like a Chinese Aunty 😂 but yes warm food is amazing. I hope they’ll upgrade their cooling system that is, because it was too hot I couldn’t really enjoy myself much.

Filling vegan and vegetarian dishes! The restaurant is a nice place to stop by with a bunch of cute cats running about. If you’re not sure what to order the waiter will give you some good recommendations. ☺️

Finally home! This awesome vegan restaurant feels like a long missed home! People here are so cosy, friendly, open minded and kind hearted and so is their food! All are surf- teachers and in any field the best of the best! Plus- they have a wonderful coffee shack! Just newly found and already closed! 😅 I guess they will be back by end of May 2023. We had wonderful tasty juices and wraps- I felt like in heaven! For any meat eaters: this is the place you should go to take first steps in veganism! You‘ll love it! 👍💖😍

We're so happy to have found another place offering a different kind of breakfast and also having vegetarian or even vegan options. The coffee is made right next to the Indiana in a small stall where I got a really good matcha latte with almond milk. The breakfast we had was freshly made and so tasty! We also enjoyed some live music and the kittens which passed our table from time to time.

WHAT is that Cheesy Top Sandwich please? Literally two slices of bland (homemade) white toast with raw tomatoes and raw onion sprinkled across, topped with a single sad slice of the worst kind of supermarket sandwich cheese — you know the one. We had a good laugh at that abomination of a dish. Otherwise a very relaxed place for brekkie with a western/girly/surfer vibe. Team is very nice and the very presentable Smoothy Bowls are a nice change from the usual Nasi and Roti breakfast.

The food here is amazing. Best breakfast in and around Cenang, for sure. Great smoothie bowls and juices. Lots of vegan options. The staff is very kind and welcoming.

It opens from 9am-1pm daily, except Wednesday. Nice smoothie. Good place to chill. It's hard to find healthy cafe with reasonable price in Langkawi. But now I found it.

It feels like this place is relying on their ambiance rather than actually serving decent food. There is no love put into the food/cooking. We had a smoothie bowl which was utterly disappointing. It was a bowl of tasteless, watery gloop. The toppings were lackluster and reminded me of cornflakes/coco pops. We also had a tempeh wrap which again missed the mark. It was essentially a iceberg lettuce wrap which took 30 minutes to make. The wrap itself was cold and hadn't even been toasted. On the whole, unloved food experience.

Superb vegan/vegetarian cafe/restaurant and dorm a short walk from the main highstreet and beach. Friendly staff. Top quality food. Zen like atmosphere. Great juices and smoothies. Highly recommend this place. :)

Amazing smoothie bowls. Perfect for breakfast. There is live music (guitar) between 10am and 1pm. The highlight are the 15 adorable cats which play and relax everywhere in the cafe

Had such an amazing stay at indiana. I really can't recommend it enough. Spacious, clean and comfortable dorm with fans and aircon. Lovely cafe in the front with live music in the morning. There is indoor and outdoor seating areas so lots of places to chill and play with the cats if you like. Really good location only a few minutes walk from the beach. The best part of staying here has to be the staff. Some of the nicest people I've ever met, everyone was so welcoming and were always so helpful with anything that we needed. We had originally only booked for a few days but stayed almost 2 weeks, very sad to be leaving but will definitely be back someday. Felt like a home away from home, I feel very lucky to have had such a lovely stay and to have met such friendly and kind people.
