Good spot to try something different on Langkawi. Not the best Korean food I’ve had but passable. Friendly owner/manager. The seafood pancake is huge. The kimchi and complementary small dishes were good and they offer to refill.

This is a Korean restaurant with a bar. Today, I ordered a beef soup and kimchi seafood tofu soup. It is very delicious and the ingredients are very sufficient. It is highly recommended. If you are tired of Chinese food and Malay food, you might as well try it here. It's easy to park! The proprietress and the waiter will ask your opinion, and there is also ice cream to eat. This store has been open for 14 years, so there must be something unique

Great food and very service-minded staffs! I loved chicken bokkeum menu, the taste is just amazing! It's not too spicy nor too salty, it is just right. Japchae came with a lot more water than any other japchae I have experienced, at first I was quite confused but at the middle of the meal I realised that because it take quite long time for us to finish the dish, the noodle absorb the sauce and all the sauces were gone right before we finish our meal. It really made the japchae not sticky even we took long time to eat it 😁 My mom loves the seaweed soup. The taste is just right with tender chicken meat and generous amount of seaweed. We got complimentary soju-soda drink and vanilla ice cream. Would highly recommend this restaurant!!! Ps. The price is quite high but worth it. Not any higher than other places I have experienced :)

Had a very late lunch here. Glad that this is still open as the most of the other restaurants we want to go were closed. The pajeon was good. The rice with squid cooked in the red sauce was sizeable portion. Jajangmyeon was so so but quite big and I like that they topped it with lots of fresh vege on top. They provide complimentary water but since we are in langkawi, couldn’t miss ordering a few beers. Overall a good meal and good service

A stunning services. Sincere, professional & polite services from all staff on duty. Will you believe? The foods are so good 👍🏻, big portion and 100% Korean homecook taste. Most importantly is they'll surprise you with a lot of complimentary side dishes, a dessert & "soju + tonic in blue" drink 🍸 😋

If you’re staying one of the hotels nearby, you must visit this amazing place! super authentic Korean food with affordable nice price. Big portion, fresh Ingredients and service is on top!!!! Also their food is not oil or very very heavy. Spicy level is awesome, no sauce bags involved. I didn’t feel thirsty after eating their food, that means their seasoning is really impressive! They basically made a proper Korean food business here, including free ice cream in the end:) Will visit again!

Returning to this place, the dishes remained delightful, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the Korean soft tofu soup, which was excellent, and the slightly cooked grilled beef still tasted good. The added ice cream treat from the restaurant was a delightful surprise. Definitely planning to visit again for the overall fantastic experience!

I was shocked with the service and the food proportions and flavors. At first I thought that the prices were too high compared to other restaurants but after ordering, the proportions were enormous and delicious (the photos did them no justice) and the prices were well deserved. The service on the other hand was the best I’ve ever seen, they helped us understand the menu and recommended their best sellers (which deserved their fame), they were patient with us and had amazing communication skills with kids(considering we had a loud messy child) and they even offered free ice cream. Honestly I don’t see anything lacking in this restaurant except maybeitss remote location. I would totally recomend this place for friends, family and anyone who likes Korean food.

Mixed feelings because the staff were actually really nice. The food, however, was very mediocre and Korean food just isn’t anything you can quickly throw together. You would assume they’d get the kimchi right but it was bland and in some red soup. The bulgogi would have benefited from a proper broth but the texture was just boiled water. Sorry…

super friendly staff! i think it's run by a korean couple and the menu explains each single dish! the portions were quite big which makes the price quite worth it! we got the tukbaegi soup(beef soup) which had a good portion of beef for rm45 as well as the seafood pajeon which had big prawns and squid in the whole pancake. it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. we also ordered the grilled beef! Good meal and the owners and the staff were also super attentive! 10/10 would come back

Great Korean place, the new owner is extremely nice and always goes an extra mile for all guests. Bibimbap is scrumptious, her kimchi is to die for :) The only dish I did not like was kimchi pancake, as it was differently cooked from how previous owner was making. Otherwise, highly recommended!

In my opinion best authentic korean food in Pantai Tengah + Langkawi. The place where I'd regularly go to for my fix of korean food. Would be icing on the cake if they also served Samgyeopsal. Service is good. Waiters are friendly. Relaxed atmosphere to dine at.

Good experience. The staff was really caring, we even had a free ice cream at the end of the meal as well as candies. The food was mainly good, even if the kimchi was too sour to be enjoyable.

A decent bibimbap, with plenty of topping and relatively little rice, which I appreciate, but the vegetables were a bit oily for my taste. The portions are large, so it's best to come in a group in order to try multiple dishes. The banchan was just okay, but they offered to refill it, which is nice. The waiter was attentive. The space is open, airy, and clean.

We decided to pop in in a whim - and got lucky! The food was absolutely delicious and I had the best bibimbap I've ever had. The service was fast, kind and truly attentive: we received complimentary snacks and dessert. Also the lemonade I had was to die for. Don't miss out on this gem!

Food looks amazing and is absolutely delicious!! The staff were incredible too - they even explained each dish as they brought it to the table! Portions were super generous! Must try if in Langkawi!!!

Loved the food here. Shared a chicken bimbimbap and vegetarian pajeon (pancake) among two people and it was very filling. The portions here are big. Price is decent and taste is good!

Short review: Excellent food and service from all staff! Enjoyed all the food I ordered (and a scoop of ice cream - complimentary) to a FULL BELLY.😋 I would visit again. :) Long review: My husband and I went there for an early dinner. We ordered Soondubu Jjigae (soft tofu soup), Beef Bokkeum, Hamul Pajeon (seafood pancake), two glasses of beer and one coke. Table was set with water and banchan (side dishes). They offered to refill banchan at free of charge if we wanted more, which is super Korean and rare to see outside of Korea (banchans are extra charges at most Korean restaurants in foreign countries). Even if you don’t need more, this gesture makes you feel like you are being served well. My personal favorite was soondubu jjigae! Beef bokeum was great too but if you want beef, maybe get Bulgogi (soy sauce base) instead. As a Korean, I think Bokeum sauce (gochujang base) goes better with pork, squid and chicken than beef. Hamul pajeon was made with generous amount of ingredients - squid was so tender. Just to top off everything, they served a scoop of vanilla ice cream (complimentary)😍. Total came out about MYR 150 and change (~MYR 151). There can be quite some flies around the table (a little more so before sunset) as it is an open-door restaurant. Run by a Korean owner chef, it has been around for 15 years. She is super friendly and professional - cooking and going around tables greeting and checking on guests and the food (these small things make all the difference!). It was worth my time and trip to the restaurant. Thank you so much Sajangnim! 정말 잘먹고 잘마시고 갑니다! 친절함과 좋은서비스에 기분좋게 하루를 마무리 했네요. 고맙습니다!

Nice korean food. Have been here in the past. Service consistent. Complimentary ice cream. Would be better if you could put an AC on in indoors and sit people indoors too…

Superb food and service. Ordered the tofu soup, grilled squid and pancake. The portions were all so huge. The soup is really legit tasty and spicy!!! I could smell the pancake as it was being cooked. I enjoy my pancake crisper than most people. The service was really good, as they accommodated my request to re-fry the pancake more so as to get the additional crunch! And to top things off, they serve complimentary scoop of vanilla Ince cream. I give them 5 stars, so glad I came by to eat here during my trip.

we ordered Kimchi Pancake, Kimchi Stew, Bulgogi, all came out very nice and tasty!! and the service was great! the kindly gave us free ice cream after meal too!

Very good service. Ordered the beef and also the chicken grilled set and felt taste wise it was average. First time I am eating the dumplings deep fried. Normally it is pan fried and finished off with steaming. The kimchi is good and the salad vegetables very fresh. The drinks are very expensive for Langkawi standards. They are about double the price if not more.

The food is delicious and very reasonable price. My first visit here and will come back again. They also serve vegetarian menu option. They provide complimentary foods as well including ice cream.

Is was just a walking distance from the place we stay. The Frangipani Resort. Just opposite of the main road entrance. This Korean BBQ restaurant was good with their service. The staff and boss are very friendly. The waiting time was not long and reasonable. The portion was kind of big for me. I had order the noodle which I felt was too salty. There is 1 dish that we ordered and eventually was too oily, the boss gave us a discount on that dish by not including it into our final bill. The environment was quite nice, nice vibe.

Overall very good food and service! We were the first customers to arrive upon opening so it was a bit slow setting up at the start, but the slight wait was worth it. Food taste was great. Service was great, kid friendly and they also provided an extra fan for cooling because it was quite warm in the open air restaurant. Also quite impressed with the effort on sustainability with nice metal cups for cold drinks

👍 Great place to watch the sunset. The burger is good. Fish and chips not so great. Frozen margarita was decent size but disappointing as it wasn't served in salted rim and it wasn't frozen anymore by the time it reached my table. The beer wasn't ice cold enough considering patrons were gloriously sun...

👍👍 During puasa period, they only started business at 730pm (they would still take you in if you come early at 630pm because they are too friendly). Love the food and service, ambience is great.
