Mimosa Plus Golf Course

Sports club Golf course Public golf course

😠 Awful experience. Mediocre golf course at best. Oh, if you don't have cash to pay for the caddie, they will make you pay to get yourself a ride (which costs money) to go to an ATM (since they don't have one on-site), get the money, then you have to come back (which costs money). ATM's charge around... People often mention golf, money, play, Mimosa,

Awful experience. Mediocre golf course at best. Oh, if you don't have cash to pay for the caddie, they will make you pay to get yourself a ride (which costs money) to go to an ATM (since they don't have one on-site), get the money, then you have to come back (which costs money). ATM's charge around 250 p to use their machine. It cost me more money to go get the money than the actual cost of the caddie. 600 p for the ride, 250 p ATM charge, all to pay 475 p for a caddie. Oh, since the first 6 ATMs were not working, this process took 30 min. Go to a nice course that accepts a credit or debit card for everything like Sun Valley. To summarize, $475 p is equal to $9.50 USD. I spent $18 USD to give them $9.50, wasted an additional 30 min of my life, and the course sucked.

I'm very disappointed and frustrated that Mimosa doesn't accept major Visa or Master Cards. They only take cash. To many foreigners like me we dont carry lots of cash in a strange country and especially the local pesos conversion to foreign currency is big. Therefore, lots of paper money being carried in a foreign land. I'm very disappointed. Also it does not have a dining or restaurant place. I will not recommend to anyone.

Hi, Mimosa golf is an excellent place for a round of golf. Only 18 holes Mountain is open right now but in the near future, the other 18 will open soon. The course has stunning scenery with beautiful big trees and is challenging for beginners as well as pros. Highly recommended!

Don't go there. It takes 8 hours for 18 holes. ㅜㅜ Crazy golf courses.

The front desk is too consumed with bureaucratic rules to be helpful to players want to make advance bookings for groups.

No locker rooms, restaurant is bare of furniture and drinks are over-priced. For a place that is unfinished, they charge double what other golf courses charge and every player is charged P300 for consumables. (A bottle of Gatorade is P170 and Cola is P138 - go figure.) Golf course staff seem to make up rules as they go along. For example, a player is a "Guest" because there are no members. "Gallery" defines someone who goes to the golf course but does not play. But if you argue about the rules of golf, "Gallery" becomes "Guest" because you were giving instructions on the golf course and you have to pay the green fee. Nobody has a clue about golf rules or local course rules and it is not defined anywhere on the course, in the clubhouse or in the high-tech electronic scorecards in the golf buggies. The General Manager plays alone and takes the course Marshall to tell all the players ahead to stop and make way as he plays through all the flights. If asked why, the Marshall will say that everyone else is playing too slowly. The course Marshall will report of slow play without even coming up to talk to the caddy or any member of the flight about their pace of play. He cannot even say what the pace of play is but he will report of slow play regardless of inclement weather. The Dress Code is not defined anywhere - it just depends on what the staff will say. And you are told about this when you are out in the course, having already paid all the necessary fees. No refund. Workers don't even know whether it is owned by Filinvest or Ayala Corp. Don't even get me started on the course conditions! Fairways cut so short that there's hardly any grass, you'd be happy to be in the rough. Bunkers are either rock hard, fluffy, or overgrown with weeds.. challenging, yes, but for all the wrong reasons. Badly trained caddies who think making loud noises is a good way to get a big tip. Snide comments about a bad shot as if to say they can do better than the player. Over all, a very unpleasant experience for an experienced player. Highly unrecommended.

I played on Sept 5, 2018 at the mountain course. The greens (6/18) were in rough shape (see the picture attached or below). I rented out the clubs (see the picture attached or below) which were good except for the most important club in the bag, the putter. I think Mimosa just put a "lost and found" putter in the bag. Trix, my Caddy, was an all star. That was the only positive part of my round.

Beautiful course both acacia-lake view and mountain view. still need more improvement on course maintenance. This used to be a 5 Star Course.

This course took my money like a strip club. Fairways were hard and filled with a mix or sand and rock for divots. Tee boxes were trash and not maintained. Layout is nice and challenging, but not worth the $130 on a weekend. You're better off going to the casino to spend your money.

It's very rude to see a silly woman sitting at the counter. And stop overbooking.

Great Experience! - The layout of the the fairway has improved a lot as well as the green due to the renovation made. - The location of the drop bag and registration procedure was so smooth and systematic which provides more convinience to players today.

Great course to play at. Mountain course is challenging and long. It has great character and most certainly an experience to play at. The staff is helpful and the locker rooms are new and very clean!

Playing at Mimosa Plus Golf Course with my siblings or with my friends is always something to look forward to. The landscape, the fairways, the terrain, the sand traps, hazards and the putting surfaces combined together makes me want to play the course every time I get the chance to do so. The Acacia course and the Lakeview course are a golfer's delight. And the Mountain View course puts your mental game and physical game to the test. The one thing that really is a sight to behold is when you are set on the tee box ready to fire a driver or an iron, while searching for a target for a landing area of the ball, one can't help but notice the fairways line up with trees and plants that are so pleasing and refreshing to the eyes, and just looking at the surrounding areas creates a feeling of being in a place far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The Marshalls, the Pro shop Staff , the caddies and food attendants are always ready to help anyone who might be in need of information or assistance, and they always provide the information or assistance with a smile. Salud! Looking forward to another Mimosa game soon.

I had trouble contacting the course by phone so I emailed the director of golf (Rory) who promptly responded and advised he would set a tee time and answered several questions I had about rates. I then proceeded to arrive a FULL DAY EARLY for my scheduled tee time by accident (my fault). Sir Rory and his staff bent over backwards to ensure I was still able to get out since I had hired a driver to drive me over an hour one way to the course. This was even though it was crazy busy for the noon tee time. The caddie was great and should probably teach mathematics she kept such good score. The course was in great shape, a couple of the greens had some bare spots, but overall I would recommend Mimosa Plus Golf Course. Oh…and the rental clubs, Titleist A2’s, were in great shape.

The acascia course is challenging. A lot of bunker is not easy especially to get a good score even in a short course.
