Fantastic food and friendly staff sooooo tasty a great place to eat would definitely come again...😁😁

We had the best meal here last night. We both got the meze menu and it was such a generous amount of delicious food. We walked back to our hotel with full bellies and big smiles on our faces! The owners are so lovely and the place has such an honest feel to it. The prices are so reasonable, too. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

We ate here as a family tonight, and have already said that we'll be back. The service was friendly, welcoming and professional. The food was perfection, and all reasonably priced. I had the Greek salad and a brandy sour, both were delicious. Everyone said the same about their food. Even my eldest was happy with the pizza option.

Excellent food, had lamb chops 4 large ones perfectly grilled over charcoal. They came with a good salad and chips which were slightly herbed and crisp on the outside fluffy in the middle. All perfect, you can tell this family love their work and are great at it. Will definitely be back.

Excellent meal last night in Lichnari Tavern. Food well cooked and piping hot. Staff are extremely helpful in explaining each course for those who do not understand Greek food. Friendly atmosphere and would recommend to anyone wishing for a pleasant experience. Great place for families.

We enjoyed a Meze for 2 people, €42 , and the food was fab. True it was rather a 'meat fest' but everything served was tasty and local. The local wine which accompanied it was nice too. The service was on point : the waitress was friendly and confident and the chef-owner made time to speak with us. Atmosphere was traditional 'Cypriot Taverna' : functional and nothing fancy. Overall, a great find and I highly recommend : go try :)

Waited 1 hour for the main food to arrive. Food was below average. Chicken salad and village salad were basically the same vegetables chopped with one minor difference one had a sample of chicken kebab chopped in it, and the other a sample of white cheese. No sauce or anything just vegetables chopped. Meat wasn't worth the wait at all, sincerely by the time the food came we were discussing about leaving.

A nice tavern with friendly service and adequate prices. My lountza halloumi pita was huge and delicious. My beer was ice-cold (literally), and the proprietor's smile was warm and genuine.

We took the traditional meze It was good and it had alot of options but felt that the food was seasoned all the same so there was not alot of difference in taste. Owner was very nice though and I would still recommend to someone to visit for a traditional Cypriot meal.

We had a great meal here - tasty food, grilled with skill on a charcoal BBQ, served with delicious fresh salad. We chose the Meze, which includes 5 cold dishes and 10 hot meaty dishes from the BBQ. We were stuffed! Reasonably priced and very friendly service. We will be back!

Very friendly owner, huge portions. People with food allergies can see on the menu if something contains allergens. Everything was delicious. I recommend you to try to put together your own meze (small portions of multiple courses up to 15), you can't go wrong with the list.

Nice original restaurant with lots of grilled food (meat, halloumi, mushrooms etc) for a very good price. For 9€/person (the minimum) the three of us were happily stuffed… While the menu does not have big surprises, a surprise came where we least expected it: the potatoes turned out to be some of the bests French fries. we had eaten: large slices, on the outside very crispy and inside creamy and very potatoey, all very well seasoned. I wished I knew how they make them so nice! The location is not great - busy street nearby. But they make the best of it and with a bit luck you can get a table further away from the street.

A great meze spread. Colossal portions, all very fresh and super-tasty. A special note must be made of the chips, which are among the best I’ve eaten in 50-odd years of global travel. Good wine list, friendly service. Great place. Recommended.

Bring an appetite. Food was so delicious. We had the meze for 2 and just about conquered it! My family were made very welcome and lots of locals were eating here too. Hope to come again for our last holiday meal.

Encouraged by great reviews, we chose this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately we left very dissapointed. First of all, there was only one waitress (and the place was full), so we waited 15 min just to order, then we waited for another HOUR for our meals. We ordered fried cod, which came out a little bit undercooked. As we already had waited for an hour, we didnt say anything to waitress, because we didnt want to wait any longer, to sum up it was a big dissapointment.

The BEST food in the town! We've been here twice during our stay in Paphos and everything we've eaten was sooo good! Fresh, tasty, regional. And the owner is a very nice man, who can recommend something for you. Prices are also quite low comparing to other places nearby. 6 stars!

Had an amazing time eating here; food was fantastic and Christos was an absolute superstar - great chatting with the kids etc. Went back plenty of times and never disappointed. Easily the best place we went to (shout out to Christos' dad as the chef!). Don't miss this little gem!

I would recommend this place to anyone. Seems to be recently renewed, food here portions here are generous and really delicious! The waiters are super friendly and kind. With my wife we tried sheftalias in couple of Paphos restaurants and the ones here are our favorite - really tasty!
