A must-go for vegans! The vegan mezze is 5/5 and super filling - you won't leave hungry! The staff is knowledgeable about veganism (including wine), and very friendly. An honourable mention for the delicious vegan chocolate cake. Would happily visit again!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening at the windmill tonight. Nancy was simply lovely and found us a table even though we hadn’t booked (highly recommend reserving a table it’s worth it). All staff were very attentive and helpful and the food was next level, outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful evening would highly recommend to anyone that enjoys good food and great service 💕

Gorgeous restaurant with the friendliest staff. The food is delicious, we had the meze for 2 and it was huge and so tasty! We even got given a family recipe to try cook ourselves. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing place, best restaurant we ate at in Cyprus. We ordered the vegan meze which were absolutely delightful. There was a selection of around 10 different meze which were all original and delicious. The portion is indicated for a minimum of 2 people and costs 40€ but we shared it between 3 people and it was plenty. Only note is that the price was unclear in the menu, which indicated the price as 20€ for 2 people, when it was actually 20€ x 2 people = 40€. Nevertheless, 40€ was a fair price for the quality and quantity of food that comes in the vegan meze. There was such a great variety of dishes than I can’t recall most of them. I do remember a green salad with vegan feta, vegan tzatziki, an aubergine dish, cous cous and more. The standout meze for me were definitely the fava bean dip with caramelised onions and the ‘chic’en cauliflower wings. Also good to keep in mind they keep bringing meze to your table as you’re eating, which is great so that you can try things a bit at a time and have them warm. I have to mention the bread because it was super soft, warm, toasted in olive oil and sprinkled with zaatar on top, truly heavenly. Lastly, we ordered vegan baklava and vegan chocolate cake for dessert, both of which were divine. The baklava was warm which was unexpected but still worked, and it came with strawberry ice cream which was also excellent. They even had vegan apple pie which I imagine would’ve been just as good. Compared to other restaurants in Cyprus this one was far superior and an absolute must if you’re in the Paphos area, wish I could’ve gone back a second time.

We have been here a few times now and we have always enjoyed our meal. This is a family owned restaurant which offers a wide variety or very tasty dishes. My personal favourite is the chicken picantina, essentially an equivalent of chicken parmigiana which is absolutely delicious. Also pictured are the fried fetta in filo, garlic mushrooms and village salad. My friends are vegan/gluten free and they are fanatics of the restaurants vegan meze (not pictured). We have tried it before and loved it, especially the lentils. We will be back.

Delicious Greek food in a lovely atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lamb Kleftiko fell off the bone and had a delicious gravy. Cocktail was so delicious the waiter gave me the recipe! Definitely recommend as top option of Greek food in Paphos!

Chicken Kebab is a 5/10 positive: looks beautiful Negatives: Unfortunately, I did not get my fill. The portion is too small. Only 3 halved potatoes 2 thin skewers and otherwise only vegetables. The skewers were very dry and little to no seasoning. But very nice staff! I found that you pay more for the beautiful view of the food and for the notoriety of the restaurant.

We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food itself is a great experience that you should not miss out when traveling to Cyprus. We also met a Romanian waiter that was really nice and hard working person. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Would recommend the place anytime!

A must go for vegans! Get the Mezze and if you got room the vegan desserts! Manager and all staff are excellent and overall experience is perfect. 10/10 will return

This is an amazing restaurant, the waiters are so nice especially Charlie and his sister. Their parents are the amazing cooks. They give you free lentil rice to go with the bread which is amazing! The appetizers are super (we tried the vegetarian ones), and the main vegetarian/vegan course is the best! Definitely worth to visit when you are in Paphos.

The wine and the dishes are very delicious. The service is amazing and they have many vegan options (desserts as well). You get started with specialties of the family. Family run businesses are simply the best and with the most love in the food and the atmosphere 🤍

If you come to paphos you have to come and try the Vegan Meze at the windmill It is not only the best meal in paphos so far it's the best meal in my 30 years of living The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly - also a lovely atmosphere and great lighting

The PLACE. Perfect! Best place in the whole of Cyprus for food orgasm (we have been to Agia Napa and Limassol as well). You have vast choices of food - either Vegan or not. Service is faster than your thoughts. The personnel is so kind and friendly. If I could I would give this place 6 from 5 stars. The ambiance is calm and charming as well. It's a MUST visit definitely ✨

Great food options. Wonderful staff. The vegan mezze was really nice and was definitely enough to fill you up. We will definitely go back again. Next time I'm going to try to save room to eat the fabulous looking vegan chocolate cake dessert.

What a place. Don't waste your time eating at the harbour when you can go here for dinner. Charlie and Nancy are great, very friendly welcoming people, food is incredible and I guarantee you'll leave this place feeling happy and full. Eaten here twice this week alone, hence the review. Love these guys.

We had the meal recommended from a friend. Fabulous place, went with my partner who is a non vegan, But veggie She really enjoyed their food which was the vegan mese when I told them I was vegan she came over with some vegan butter to have with the bread, the mese a delicious platter’s of things I wouldn't normally eat but it was all flavoured beautifully, also we shared a hot vegan chocolate cake! Highly recommended the vegan mese.

Very nice chilled back restaurant set back from the main strip. The food is beautiful and very friendly staff..we injoyed are time here. Highly recommended to try this place out.

We tried this place despite Google maps warning us that they were busy but they managed to squeeze us in. The food was very good, we were given complementary bread and lentils, which were very tasty, and then when our meals were brought out they were not only divine but the portion sizes were huge. The staff were very charismatic, attentive and willing to talk, give recommendations and even share their cocktail recipes. Overall the experience was great and I can't recommend it enough.

The best restaurant we ate at all vacation! The food is amazing and so is the staff. They are so so welcoming and serve you the best food, truly. It’s a family business and you can feel the familiar and kind atmosphere that creates right away. Prices are more than faire. I cannot express enough how nice our experience was there, especially after sadly having fallen into a couple tourist traps during the rest of our vacation, the windmill was a breath of fresh air. If we weren’t leaving, we’d go back every night. Not exaggerating! It’s definitely a "must visit". Food 5 | Service 5 | Atmosphere 5

Very hard to find a restaurant where the tzaziki really tasts intensive. Also it was not selve made it like in so many restaurants. Very sad because people come to Cypris because of that amazing dish/starter. Overall the service was good and also the ambience was nice. Cosy little restaurant. However better ones are many around.

This restaurant is a little gem. Had a meal there tonight and I can honestly say it was the best meal that we have had this holiday. The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Will definitely be returning Thank you Nancy and family for a lovely evening.

Fabulous restaurant, so friendly & welcoming & food is amazing. We visited twice during our stay, we had the Meze on the first visit & ordered off the main menu on the second plus got to enjoy a wedding at the same time. Fantastic evening! Definitely the best food & welcome we had whilst in Cyprus. Not to be missed!

This is amazing place! The staff is super nice, the restaurant itself is very cozy. I’m vegan and there are several vegan options. We chose VEGAN MEZE for 2 and it was the best meal I had in Cyprus. We got 20 different plates with delicious vegan food. (We got the plates on the picture and later we got like 10 more 😄). It was so much food, order it only if you are very very hungry!! The most amazing were fried zucchini and cauliflower in sezam with bbq sauce and baked eggplat with vegan cheese. They also served salad with vegan feta! The red wine of house was also spectacular.

Superb vegetarian mezze! We got very attentive service, especially around gluten free options. Definitely a must when you are in Paphos. Don't forget to reserve a table, as the place is quite popular.

A beautiful meal. Cannot fault anything. The candles were lit, the atmosphere was great, service was fantastic, and food was great. We were given a free taster consisting of lentils which was lovely. When I commented how nice it was the waitress brought me the recipe, a lovely touch. Just cooked it at home in England and it feels and smells like a memory of that night. Thanks again the windmill. Will definitely be visiting again when next in paphos.

This place is incredible!! Definitely best meatballs and tzatziki. Shrimp saganaki is gigantic. Anyways we ordered way too much but it was so good we stuffed all in 😂 Price/service/food quality ratio is 6 out of 5 👏👏

Finally able to experience traditional vegan Cypriot food! A lovely family run restaurant with exceptional service. I cannot recommend this place enough. All I will say is, make sure you are hungry before you order the meze!

Amazing food and amazing service. The vegan mezze must be tried (18 plates perfect for 2/3 people). First vegan feta ever that actually tastes like feta. The cheese with honey and walnuts in the dessert menu is very good and authentic.
