Sorry to burst the positive review bubble but have to be honest about my visit. Ordered a fillet steak medium cooked. I ate almost everything on the plate however, the steak was cooked as ordered pink, tough to cut which was worrying, tried to eat a piece that I managed cut off and found it very chewy which was very surprising considering it was suppose to be tender and tasty. I left the the steak almost untouched, but didn’t complain. The chef did come out to see me to find out what the problem was, unfortunately he didn’t seem to accept my answer but I did have to point out that as a customer I am entitled to express my own opinion on what I found and didn’t pay 21 euros to just leave it, bearing in mind I didn’t complain, I have never had a tough fillet steak in my life and I always ask for this dish because I really enjoy a good steak, it didn’t even taste like a normal fillet. That’s enough from me, but wouldn’t go again.

Staff were very welcoming and had a great sense of humour. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The house wine was good. I would go.back.and recommend to friends. Give it a go, you wont be disappointed. And another trip a few years later, we did go back. Still a great place and wohld still highly recommend it.

Nice place with a family vibe. In the evening, it's a quiet oasis among the obnoxiously loud clubs. We were 9 friends and after a long time looking for some place to sit and eat, we stumbled upon this place. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere, even without music. Fantastic moussaka!

I m a tourist in vacation and wanted to eat some pasta. Found this restaurant on google maps with 4.6 stars. I thought i ll have a nice experience but the opposite happened. First I ordered pepsi max and they brought me the glass filled with it, they didnt bring me the bottle and opened it here to pour the juice. Ok, the problem was that it tasted like syroup and water combined. After i ate the pasta (pasta tasted 3/5, so i wouldnt not complain about that) but the problem was that after a few minutes a cockroach appeared on the terrace. Waitress was unprofessional and awful. I dont recommend.

That was an experience, just not one I will repeat. It was a purely off the cuff decision to go there. Immediately felt we were an inconvenience. Got served eventually and decided with some reticence to have the set menu. Starters arrived and were ok. Had ordered cod with prawn sauce for the main course. Cod chunks in batter arrived. Asked about the prawn sauce and was told "the chef changed his mind. Enjoy". Unbelievable! From then on we were ignored. After half an hour plates were collected. Menus for pudding were given. Then ignored again. Eventually the elder lady (owner?) came to take the order by which point we had decided to leave. Felt sorry for her as it was not her fault. Been in Paphos for over a week and it is our first bad experience anywhere.

Fabulous food and great value for money and the service was excellent, highly recommend, prawn starter was huge as was the the main course and the backlava was to die for 😋

So glad there were vegetarian options available, particularly as I eat a halal diet. The food was tasty, and I was especially impressed by the fact that the staff were happy to serve me something to eat a good twenty minutes after they'd officially stopped serving food for the night. (I'd just arrived from the airport.) True Cypriot hospitality here!

I hate giving bad reviews but I have to. From other reviews it seems that they have good steak - maybe. For me it was unfortunately the worst meal I had in Cyprus. We went there spontaneously because we didn't want to walk too far away from our accomodation. We just wanted a light meal to crown our Cyprus experience on the last evening. We ordered a village salad and a "vegetarian platter" from the "traditional cyprus" section of the menu. I don't think this platter is traditional in any way - it just seemed they dumped on the plate every random non-meat thing. There were three spring rolls with some weird sauce (yes, spring rolls. Very traditional cyprus), some grilled zucchini and eggplant (zucchini was decent, eggplant so oily that inedible), some halloumi, zucchini fritters, soggy fries and some boiled veggies (which would be cyprus-style only if Cyprus was still under British rule). The village salad was completely drowned in a sea of oil (not even sure if it was olive oil) and vinegar (and no, not delicious and rich balsamic vinegar that I could expect in a village salad. Plain old white vinegar). The "vinaigrette" wasn't even emulsified enough so I could taste the oil and vinegar separately. Not good at all. The best part of this salad were a few good olives put there. And the best part of the meal was the pita bread they gave us, really delicious. Unfortunately together with the pita we received also small packages of packed "butter" (not real butter but some dupe with 60% fat) which I think explains perfectly what kind of kitchen this is. For the staff - I'm sure they are all lovely but also a bit unorganized and I don't like restaurants where the staff is constantly walking around between tables and watching my plate. Three different servers came to check on us but when we were sitting over half-eaten plates trying to fish out whatever was edible. But they didn't ask whether the food was ok, but whether we were finished so they can take our plates. Overall, a huge disappointment. Maybe the steak is good but it was a huge mistake to go there for something else.

Yesterday I visited Agapinor with my family and it was excellent! The food was very fresh & tasteful! Service was great & always with a smile. I also met the owner/chef (Petros) & his wife - they are very lovely & welcoming people!! I will certainly visit there again!

Food very nice, service needs improvement, no one came to our table once we had our meal so only one drink all evening then sat looking at our empty plates trying to attract attention to get the bill.

Food was lovely, staff were lovely and very polite. 1 star down as the veg used was frozen , which let the standard of the rest of the food down! Would definitely return though just not order something with veg.

Could not fault it (apart from the telephone number not working to call and book)!! Quickly seated and following social distancing/mask guidelines. What can I say? I'm not sure I've ever had a meal so good! I had grilled haloumi to start, which was just the right size and very tasty. Others in the party had chicken pate, garlic prawns, avocado prawns and spring rolls and every single person raved about how good they all were. For mains we all had different steaks, which we absolutely melt in the mouth. The food was also lovely and hot, a delicacy we had not really had at the hotel so far! I really wanted a pudding but just couldn't fit it in! Maybe next time.... Prices were very reasonable and the whole thing worked out at about €30 a head, including drinks. If I ever return to Paphos, I will definitely be coming back to the Agapinor.

We were in paphos for 11 days, ate at a lot of restaurants, this was the best by a distance. Great steaks, garlic mushrooms 👌 and excellent value for money. Various 3 course set menus to choose from €16 to €21 and a large variety of food to choose from on the regular menu. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Must visit place for good steaks! Been twice in the last 3 weeks. All I can say is ...they nail a good steak. Lots of regulars tells you it's consistent too. Had the tournedos Rossini first time. Cooked to perfection. Second visit tried their own Agapinor steak. Just as delicious. Chips are home made, not frozen. Sauces are great and it's all reasonably priced. I'm a fan!! They do great fixed priced meals for those on a budget too.
