Go if you have time to spare. Food is fine but not good enough to compensate for this experience. I arrived around 7pm on a weekday; the restaurant was almost empty with the exception of the couple next to mine. I ordered within 15mins. Starter came within reasonable time and restaurant began to fill with people. I waited for the main. And waited. And waited. What the f is going on. For 45mins. Then another 15mins to get the bill. And I missed the paphos sunset. All I have to say is that it is a colossal waste of time. Now I feel compelled to waste more time to write a bad review.

I was on February 14 with my wife and a small child of 6 months. Waiting for ordered drinks took 45 minutes, hot meals 1 hour. The chicken tikka was delivered burnt. The room is cold, people are sitting in jackets. When I went to pay, they added extra curry sauce to the order, I did not order it. To sum up: if you want to wait an hour for food in a cold room, this is the place for you. I don't recommend it to others. Money scam and fraud.

When you want to eat something good in cities you don't know and when you go like that, simply, without expectations or guided by intuition and discover something "wow" you are satisfied and happy. I am happy to have discovered the Delhi Gate restaurant right next to the Dyonisos Hotel in Paphos, where we are staying, and I am all the happier to be able to share my wonderful experience with people. I'm a big fan of Indian food. Unfortunately I was very disappointed as they have added coriander to all the dishes that I have ordered. I used Wolt, there was no information that all the dishes (even rice) contain coriander. I can't digest this herb so I couldn't eat ordered food.

Honest review: We went to Jayanta across the road, it was okay but I must say Delhi gate was way better! Their portion sizes, flavour and food in general was the best. Pricing wise, it wasn’t bad, we spent around €40 for 3 people for a few different curries. As south asian person myself, I was worried it would be too sweet but it wasn’t which was great for me. Plus all the food there is Halal. The waiter was super helpful. I can’t say anything wrong about this place it was clean, food was on point and service was fast. I went here 3 times when I was in Paphos lol. They were super kind and gave us complimentary papadums when we walked in. Whereas Jayanta didn’t :(. Thank you!

Loved it! What can I say, from the moment we were greeted until our goodbye, everything was perfect. The favours of our vegan Indian food were truly alive. We had samosa, Chana masala and another vegetable curry dish we can’t remember the name of. All of it was wonderful. We love Indian food and have eaten a lot of authentic food as we have many Indian friends so when I say this is the real thing, it is! Of course Indian food changes from region to region. I think much of the food here could be closer to southern Indian, which to me is the most flavourful. Either way, you’ll for sure love it if you go there.

Stumbled upon this lovely place whilst on holiday, very knowledgeable staff/owners … anyone who knows me, knows I vary rarely order straight from the menu!! Food was absolutely fantastic, I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants, most high end and this one has left them all pale in comparison. Very reasonably priced with generous portions. Also the food I ordered contained a lot of extra wishes, which they granted perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are staying in Paphos. No complaints ... Wanted a change from the hotel buffet type food so we called into Delhi Gate and we were not disappointed. The service was quick , staff very friendly and polite. After ordering, the food was served quickly and tasted excellent. Starter and main course x 2 with 4 glasses of house wine for €45 .... So we were happy with our choice to eat here. Will definitely call again.

We really enjoyed the restaurant since the food was really delicious with authentic Indian spices. The portions were large as well and the waiter was kind. The starters onion bahjee and veg samosas are highly recommendable. We enjoyed various curries with rice and homemade naan bread. Somewhere in the menu we read about halal meat, therefore we obviously chose vegetarian curries which were absolutely delicious and rich of all kind of flavours

Great little gem this one. Myself and my partner actually visited twice this holiday and left super full and really chuffed with the find. The food is great and prices are good too. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy some great Indian food on your holidays. Highly recommended

We are in Paphos for a week and decided to venture out of our all inclusive for dinner. We stumbled across Delhi Gate, and being vegetarian we were impressed with their vegetarian selection on the menu. The starters (mushrooms, cauliflower and onion bhaji) and mains were delicious, and they additionally created an off-menu curry for us. They provided a really great service! Would highly recommend! Special shout out to Bharat, who served us.

Food was great. They also bringed us some starters on the house which were really tasty. Cocktails could be improved more, bloody mary was not good, tasted nothing like bloody mary - did not finish it even. (but they are really cheap) Overall if you go for food you wont be dissapointed!

Lovely restaurant in a great location. I personally found the food average at best. We had 2 main meals of different dishes but they came out exactly the same, even the side dish was the same sauce.

We had a GREAT indian meal! Lovely naan-starter, great veggie- and chicken masala. Eventhough the restaurant was understaffed, the server was very friendly and took his time to help us. Highly recommend!

Great for Gluten free options as are many Indian restaurants. I even managed a gluten free roti made with lentil flour. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Had onion brains to start (4 so worth sharing), then main I had their fiery chicken which wasn’t as fiery as I’m used to, but if you ask for even hotter they’ll do it. Nevertheless it was tasty and a good size.

Food was delicious and tasty. After the free starter we took the mild versions, chicken saag and massala. Prices are not too expensive. We will definitely come back here next time.

We was sceptical about this place at first but once we sat down and spoke to the chef and the waiter we felt very reassured I was worried about the food not being halal they reassured us their lamb and chicken is 100% halal they made the dishes so delicious great service from the waiter. Tasted like proper Pakistani food sheesh kebabs were very tasty we will be coming back again!

Very slow but very good food, it was definitely worth waiting :) Full of flavour, fresh ingredients and all the dishes tasted different (sometimes in other Indian restaurants all curries taste too similar). That’s a real taste from India!

We left after waiting 15 minutes just to order. Even though we made an eye contact with waiter a couple times and he saw that we are ready to order, he seemed to not care about this. Awful experience - we went to the Curry House nearby, where atmosphere was actually friendly and food was outstanding.

Great food can recommend the Bhuna and the Laal Maas also the Dahi Baingan is to die for. Complimentary poppadoms can hinder having a starter as portions are very generous. Thank you Delhi Gate.

We came across Delhi Gate while walking around the area and decided to check it out. We were pleasantly greeted with lovely staff, they offered snacks on the house on both of our visits. The food was the best we had in Paphos by far! It’s deffinetly a place that we recommend, as every other place was dissapointing.

Best indian food we ever had! The whole experience was truly amazing. The hosts, the venue, the mood, and the food - absolutely delucious. Probably the best indian food we ever had. And we've been to a quite few indian venues around Europe. From what we understood, our food was prepared by a 5* hotel chef. The service was excellent, we received appetizers and desert on the house and we even got to meet our chef. The prices were very good compared to the venues in the area. So if you come to Paphos, make sure you pay a visit to Delhi Gate.

Cannot give this a high enough rating, only mistake we made was going her in the last few nights, ended up going two nights on the bounce, the nan breads have to be the best I've ever had hands down. Excellent curry, delicious and fragrant spices. The staff were warm and welcoming and very informative. All curries are nut free and the fats are vegetable based so allergies can be catered for.

Gorgeous Indian restaurant. It has to be one of the best Indians I have been to and I have been to lots in different countries. We had the set menu . You can choose from three different ones. My daughter and myself had the menu 2, and my parents chose no.3. Everything we had from starters to main meals rice and nan was fantastic. We had the chicken pakoras and tbe chicken Tikka for starters totally perfect, 6 big pieces on each and came on a sizzling platter. For the mains we chose chicken massalla, chicken balti, chicken jalfrezi and a buhna all tasted fantastic. Would highly rate this indian as one of the best in Pafos. Yes we did go to two others and no we're as good as this one for quality, price and service. The waiters were absolutely lovely so friendly. P.s try the cocktails best we had while on holiday.

We came here for a family meal and all I can say is wow, the service and the food is outstanding, we had a mixture of starters which included Onion Bhaji's, Chicken Pakoras, Chilli chicken lemon, a prawn dish and some samosas. They was absolutely delicious. We took a 3 year old and because she didnt like the food they provided us with chicken nuggets and chips and presented it with a smiley face. There was to much food however and they boxed it up to take it home. Its possibly one of the best Indians I've ever ate. Definetly recommend everyone to try it.
