This was THE BEST experience we've had so far! The gentleman who served us was the nicest person I've met in Cyprus. The food was delicious, we are definitely coming back again.

Supercozy place hidden between the buildings away from noisy street. Family atmosphere (in a good way), waiters treating you as a long time friend. Traditional Cypriot food.

Very authentic, family run restaurant, local dishes, we enjoyed the ambience and the hospitality of the owners. We tried the local first courses which were good, heavy though for starters. The main dishes were good, especially the mousaka.

My wife and I loved our evening at Mother's. It was all great: from the lovely welcome that we received when we arrived to the fantastic food (we both had the delicious clay oven cooked lamb special). While this restaurant is a little tucked away in a courtyard off the main roads, it is definitely worth finding!

These guys made our holiday. Fabulous authentic Cypriot food, tsavas, kleftiko, afelia, and so warm and friendly. The zivania and village wine accompanies a great evening.They are also pee you pants funny. We loved our 8 visits there as there was nothing else to compare.

A really nice place with good authentic food. Super nice service and atmosphere. Really recommend if you looking more for local rustical food and not a tourist trap. They also have a good vegetarian selection.

First of all very very nice atmosphere, waiters are very helpful, kind and helpful. Food is very tasty, it is pleasure to try local cousine. It is definetely worth to come and see here. I recommend it :)

Very authentic food in a lovely but hidden away setting. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is of a good home style and was our best meal of the holiday.

There are many good reviews here, so maybe my experience is rare. The owner was nice, perhaps his mother had the day off. I just ordered a couple items to go, and they were not good. A Greek salad full of lettuce and cabbage, just a few very small tomato and cute slices and barely any cheese. The stuffed grape leaves were inedible.

This place was the highlight of my trip in Cyprus. The owner was so lovely and friendly, the food to die for, great wine, literally everything one could ask for. I will never forget the hospitality, absolutely amazing. I had grilled sea bass which was my best meal in Cyprus. I will be back 😍

We had a lovely night at Mother’s We took only vegetarian and fish dishes All was delivered perfectly Portions aren’t too big, but reasonably priced White Wine jug was a great match You definitely get the family environment and atmosphere The bread served with entrees should be improved.

The restaurant is slightly hidden inside a residential complex and just next to the church, very close to the bus terminal of the harbour, went there for a delicious lunch for a traditional mezze, very tasty but regret not having the special lamb of the day, they looks excellent but have been greedy so gone for the mix meat. The owner is very friendly and the price is very reasonable, I imagine it will be very busy in the evening and bare in mind they only accept cash. Definitely worth going for a meal.

This is the best restaurant in the area. It's not right on the water, which might discourage you, but don't let it. Owner is the nicest man, and the food holds up.

Family owned establishment, the vegetarian moussaka wasn't that good to be honest but the rest of the food was amazing. The staff are absolutely amazing. Definitely worth checking this place out on your visit.

Cannot fault this place , good traditional home made Cypriot food with a daily special and excellent value. The friendly owners engage with the customers and help with your choice of dishes. Note they only accept cash.

Very nice and friendly service but the food was not what we could read from the reviews. We ordered barbequed chicken and ribs and said we were looking for some good grilled meat and they came as a stew in a sweet sauce, it was hard to judge the quality of the meat when it's so cooked.

Ate here last night and it was honestly one of the best meals/restaurants I’ve had. Everything about its was just 10/10, the outside seating area and staff really gave me that local experience I was looking for. The food was out of this world, feel sorry for the people on here giving bad reviews for the food - very unlucky!! The food we ordered was homemade and sent my tastebuds to orbit, zero need for a knife because the meat literally melted of the bone. The best value for money, big tip was left as it was so worth it. Yes there was a wait for food/drinks, you just have to trust the process, soak in the beautiful atmosphere and understand it’s a small operation - only two guys working, with one being the chef and the other being front of house. Last night was my second day of the holiday and I’ll be returning here for more gorgeous food and vibes.

AMAZING. We sat outside and was such a lovely looking restaurant. Food was so reasonably priced and very very tasty, staff were above and beyond. So friendly and welcoming. Catered to our group of 6 containing 1 vegan and 1 vegetarian. Would defiantly go again.

A lovely family run restaurant, the food is amazing and the setting is idyllic. This restaurant is hidden away from the main road, and is sheltered from the noise of Paphos road traffic. We have visited twice now on our holiday and may even squeeze in one more visit before we depart. The clay oven specialities are amazing, different each day of the week. They also cater for vegan dishes, which is always nice.

Wonderful place, wonderful people, wonderful food. When you enter Mother's restaurant you feel just as if you were not just another guest but more like a friend or a family member that needs to be hosted and taken care of. The place is hidden from the main street which also makes it more comfortable and peaceful. You should expect here traditional Cyprian cuisine however you will also find something more standard if you wish. During our visit we tried Koupepia and a grilled chicken both of which were delicious. From the very first bite you will notice ingredients are fresh, local and meals are prepared with a special care. Hosts are really friendly, helpful and happy to have a chat with everyone visiting the restaurant. Leaving Mother's restaurant was like an aftermath of a visiting auntie that gave you a little too much to eat but it was so good you just could not resist. Thank you for a wonderful evening in the Mother's Restaurant!

Very friendly staff. It feels like you are at your family house and the atmosphere is simply amazing. Vegetarian “mothers special” seemed nicely seasoned and tasty. I could definitely go for another try of different dishes. Let’s not forget about cute company of the little cats. Very cheerful Experian. Fully recommended.

I lived in Cyprus since I was 6 years old, I've left and been back countless times. Every time I come back a little bit of Cyprus seems to have slipped away... Joining the EU killed a lot of Cyprus' charm... But Mothers Restaurant has more than certainly kept that charm with a warm friendly atmosphere, both from the incredible staff and the secretive alley it resides in. The food is Incredible! Classic cypriot cuisine and recipes, everything is fresh and exploding with flavour! I don't have photos of the food as I was so excited to dig in but I'll be back tomorrow for more and will take plenty of pictures then! Pure excellence.

Nice and friendly family restaurant away from head road. Good food and good wine. Ordered the special and was not disappointed, the spaghetti with seafood was delicious. Moussaka could have more taste ,but was OK. My ten years was bored and got a puzzle to solve which got us all to use our brain =) And when I should pay and hade no cash they said I could come back tomorrow or whenever, it's only money my friend they said. <3
