amazing food for a good price. Very tasty and fresh meal. Service on point, owner is very good man with heart on the right place. We will be definitely back. Oh... and book a table if you want to be sure that you get a place. This place is busy :) but If you will not, you can try your luck.

Great restaurant in Paphos. Friendly atmosphere with great food.

The best food we had in Paphos. Waiting staff were wonderful and kids menu was the best I’ve seen. They had a mini steak which my son loved.

Service was outstanding, I felt like I was really special guest. Everyone was kind, helpful and the food came really quickly. Food was very good, looks delicious, smells delicious and tastes even better. After ordering food and drinks we get a few pieces of pita bread with garlic butter, regular one and some olive oil with vinegar. We ordered greek dips which was really tasty, my wife ordered grilled chicken kebab and the meat was juicy and delicate just the way it should be. I ordered Mousaka and it was creamy and delicious. After that we were really full. For the check we received some free homemade loukoumi. We came here in our last day in Paphos, and it was great finish of our trip. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you!

The food is delicious, very well prepared and comes in a big portion. Just the right amount of seasoning, no under or overcooked meals here. The waiter is very kind, professional. The design of the restaurant is modern and somewhat romantic. For this price, it is a very good service, and good food.

Found this restaurant through Google reviews and safe to say it didn’t disappoint. Really nice family run business, food was delicious. Portions were a bit small, but the meat was very tender and flavourful. Found the mixed grill a bit salty so would not recommend otherwise it’s well worth a try if your in Paphos!

You'll find Michael's House 100 yards up a street opposite the Alexander the Great Hotel. Not on the main drag but then it doesn't need the high pressure promotion some others require. Very hospitable staff and family who are passionate about their business and making sure guests feel welcomed, included and relaxed. My wife chose the pan seared Sea bass and not being a fish fan, I chose the Grandma's stuffed chicken. I'm not sure whether Grandma made it but it was beautifully prepared and presented. No pics of the food as we just couldn't wait to taste it!! Lots of wine, good conversation in a beautiful restaurant made the night fly by. We'll definitely be coming back!

Our meze was good, service is kind. Parking on the nearby empty plot, though pay attention to enter by a car with lower ground clearance.

*best place for vegetarians in paphos* We found this place on our last day before getting the bus to the airport, the owner after we asked what time they opened invited us in way before opening so we could eat before the bus was due. We ordered vegetarian meze, let me tell you folks, this was brilliant food and LOTS of it. After struggling all week to find anywhere that had vegetarian food at all (or if they did was just tomato pasta :-/) this was very refreshing and the best food we'd had all week. Highly recommended, super friendly also. If you're vegetarian (or even if you are not) try this place out.

Lovely authentic Cypriot food. You can tell it's good as you would barely know it's there tucked down a side street, yet it's always busy! The Stifado was excellent as were the Crepes Suzette! Even got a little sparkler and signaling for my birthday 😆🎉

I was there last year and decided to come back. The food is ok (we took vegetarian meze - good, maybe slightly too oily sometimes but in general really good), the service is really nice. The prices are better than in the restaurants closer to the promenade.

A bit off the beaten track but easy enough to find, staff very welcoming, we sat outside on the veranda. I had the Tavas, my wife had Stifado and my son had kids steak and chips. The Stifado and Tavas sauces were a bit watery and the steak was dry. We were given complimentary pitta bread, oil and garlic butter before our meal and cyprus delight after.

We went to Michael's Tavern as per the high reviews and they didn't disappoint. We started with grilled hallomi and chicken doner. For mains I had the vegetarian mousaka and my husband had the chicken Zorba, and to finish off we had baklava and vegan raspberry brownie. They were all beautifully presented and had great flavour. We felt very welcomed and the customer service was excellent. The menu is a good example of traditional and modern dishes. Highly recommended.

We came here during our holiday last week and we had an amazing time. It was really easy to book via the booking form on the website and the restaurant itself is lovely. We came on a Monday night and it was pretty quiet with only a few other tables occupied. The staff were really friendly and approachable. We shared the Cyprus Meze between two of us and we loved it. There was a lot of food which we couldn't finish but it all tasted great. (Picture is just the first dish as I forgot to take any photos after this)

Michaels Tavern is a great place to try typical Cyprus specialities. We ordered mezes for two, which cost 21 euros per person. They did not charge anything for our 3 year old. After the entrees and the first main with meat we were almost full, but more was coming. The service was attentive, cheerful, yet unobtrusive. We'd gladly return once we are in Paphos again.

Delicious food, good amount of food for the money, very friendly stuff. It’s one of the best places to look at as well, very clean, with beautiful flowers and interior. Generally very good experience, fully recommended.

On the day we've arrived we went out for diner and based on the reviews took a look at this place. It was great. Good price, friendly staff and big portions. Meat, fish and vegetarian food on the menu. Enjoyed the evening and thank you!

We have had nice meals and service in the past but this time we were disappointed in both. It was possibly because the restaurant is soon to close for the season but even so it is important to value custom. The lamb shank kleftiko in particular was tough and a little tasteless but nothing stood out on this visit sadly.

On a short trip to Cypress 4 days, ate there 3 nights. Superb food, friendly family owned business.

Absolutely lovely restaurant, great food and fab staff! We had a superb meal here... such a pity we are spending the rest of our holiday further afield. We'll definitely be back!

Eat here and just had a main course, which was excellent. You get bread to start, FOC. Which comes with three different dips and spreads. Well worth a visit.

Highly recommend! Visited Michael's twice during our week in Paphos. Service was second to none and food was incredible on both occasions. I'd recommend reserving a table as they get very busy.

Great homemade food, no frozen stuff from the microwave. Lovely atmosphere and cheerful staff. Reasonable prices, everything nice and clean. I usually don't like eating out, but I can definitely say that I'll be back.
