Make sure you don’t eat much during the day before visiting this great place. The food is delicious and it just keeps coming. They only order mezze (meat or vegetarian) and the variety and amount is perfect. Minimum order is for 2 people. The service very kind and the place is beautiful for a lovely evening

Now we also have experienced to taste the really best mezzes in town! Great ambiance at the terrace and really lots of delicious food. Just one advice, check the menu of drinks yourself instead of letting them advice you .. it costs us a bottle of wine at a price of 80€ ... 🫢 It smelled and tasted marvellous bit normally we don't drink such an expensive wine .

Amazing meze restaurant! ❤️ You receive ~10 small different dishes: tzatziki, spicy cheese, chickpea salad, souvlaki, pork, haloumi, mushrooms, spinach roll, potatoes etc. Every dish was delicious! Serving was perfect, friendly and professional. Portions were really big, don’t eat for some time before you go 😅 Desert was not included. Homemade lemonade and beer were so tasty. Would definitely return 👩🏻‍🍳

If visiting the old town, this place is a must!!! We enjoyed the mini-meze for lunch yesterday, and it has been the highlight of our holiday so far!!! The food is fantastic, one of the best meze we have ever had due to the quality of food served. More so, the customer service was exceptional and made the whole experience more enjoyable, which can be challenging at times when you have a 2 year old and 4 month old.

Where to start? The food was amazing for such a democratic price! The service is pro and friendly. The atmosphere is as the food is, incredible. I really advice you to book before in order to have a nice view. The only « bad point » is that the food is coming really fast, you don’t have the time to finish one dish that the rest is already coming. You can then feel under pressure to finish fast this amount of food. But let’s be honest, this is not a real problem. Overall 10/10 best place to eat in paphos and I really recommend the establishment to apply for Gaud&Millaut !

This is the kind of place that makes you want to go back to other reviews elsewhere and bump their 5 stars down to 4. This was something exceptional. I’ve been in Cyprus 17 years and eaten and countless venues, and this has entered by top 5 dining experiences. I was brought her by my Cypriot brother in law and his Swedish partner who insisted I would be impressed. I mention this as my bar was pre-set quite high. They ^did not^ disappoint. I was gobsmacked! The welcome at the entry was lovely (in Cyprus often you feel like scum if a place is popular by the door guard). We were swiftly and with a welcome smile taken to our table (tip: when booking ask for the view tables on the balcony - oh, and book 2-3 days in advance to avoid disappointment). We began with a cocktail as we were thirsty. Wow! I got the ‘unconditional’ with amaretto, fresh passion fruit, lemon and the Greek spirit Majuni. Incredible! We then settled in for our meat meze (you can choose between a meat, vegetarian and vegan meze). I’ve had hundreds of meze meals in Cyprus, and this was a real treat! They play with local flavours and techniques to deliver Cypriot traditional food with a modern, yet non invasive, innovative twist (if that makes sense?!). The tyrokafteri dip was to die for with its caramelised peanuts and sesame topping complementing the tangy whipped cream cheese. The bulgur and beetroot bowl was yummy and the chickpeas with tahini was refreshing. Their tzantziki was true to form. Their fresh baked potatoes, my grandmother will be upset to hear me say this, but they may just have been the best I’ve ever had in Cyprus. I salivate for more! The salad was traditional with carob molasses and anari, a perfect mix and not too much to go wasted. Just right. Clearly the chefs have chosen the loukanika (sausages) and lountza (smoked ham) because they were undoubtably the best quality possible. Tasted as if you were in the meat smoking room with it! The halloumi, well, halloumi is halloumi - it is always a winner. Then the main event. Pork souvla and pork souvlaki, and chicken gyro (doner). They were complemented with herbs and the souvla even had a grape must and mustard drizzle to enhance the flavour! Just amazing. We finalized the food trip with mushrooms in sauce - and whatever it was, was clearly magic as I even drank the sauce! The staff are marvelous. They are all friendly, attentive, careful and knowledgeable. They spoke Greek and English well and they seemed to be very happy to work there. They were kind and fun with my daughter who came along. She mentioned she wanted the passion fruit in my cocktail so they brought her a passion fruit as a gift. So sweet! The venue itself. Gorgeous! A spectacular view, a delightful vine growing and shading the balcony, a tasteful and classy interior and fresh air all round. It’s right in the old town so a pre or post dinner walk is ideal. Will return and bring locals and tourists alike to experience this gem of a joint! Thank you folks!

Unbelievable food and an all round great experience. Top quality with every bite. The menu is set, you tell them either veggie (€14 pp) or meat meze (€17pp) and they keep bringing out the dishes - it's so much food! It starts with the most delicious salad and sides and the final course is a pepper stuffed with cheese. Literally everything was delicious. We got very lucky to get a table by arriving early (at 18:50). The place was so busy so I recommend booking in advance. The local wine is good too and decent value at €10 for a carafe. 100% recommend.

Excellent.Sooooo much food. Meze dining experience. Choice was basically vegetarian or meat and they take care of the rest. We came a couple of days before but was booked solid. A reservyis a must as it is only really one sitting. Be prepared not to eat lunch.

Lovely location, we chose meat meze and every single dish was amazing. It was too much food and we had the possibility to take the leftover home. All waiters were nice and professional, the bill was fair. It was a perfect dinner

Amazing food! We spent 2 weeks in Cyprus and this was hands down the best meal. The pork souvla is cooked to perfection. Every dish was delicious, even the salad is great! You will not be disappointed eating here.

Meat or vegetarian meze served one by one. Tasty, fresh, have all the flavors of Mediterranean food. We took simple local wine but it was too young and fresh, still goes well with all the reach meal. Be ready to eat a lot. Bill with wine for two was 60-70€ Definitely will come back.

Where to start ? We had amazing evening with unreal food and service with beautiful view. We had no reservation, fortunately, were some free tables outside. Our water was very attentive and helpful! About food - in restaurant is only meze ( 11 dishes without desert) and every dish was unusual and very tasty. Recommend ! + you have options to choose meat type / or vegetarian option ! Lovely traditional Taverna. Trust your waiter when asking for recommendations about the wine as you will not be disappointed. This taverna use only local sources for there ingredients. Our meze was full of flavor, carob dressing on the village salad and all home made dishes. Recommend

I heard about Agora Tavern before, so I really wanted to try Meze. Price not hight, 14€ for vege, and 17€ for meat meze. The waiters were very nice, especially the tall and slim guy. if you want to taste traditional dishes - I really recommended - everything was delicious. Minus one star because no one said us that we get the last one dish and we was waiting for another.. and for lack of desert.:(

Absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere! The staff were so lovely and the food was tasty and plentiful! We couldn’t finish it between 2 so more than enough in a mezze with a lovely setting, will be coming back and recommending to everyone!

We came here for lunch. There were lots of choices for drinks, but they only had a set menu as far as food. No choice at all. It was a nice salad, some dips with bread, roasted potato wedges, and three different types of pork. It was almost 40 Euros with two drinks (not included with the lunch). We sat outside on the patio with grapevines to make shade and a view of the sea.

Went for my girlfriend’s birthday yesterday. Immediately greeted with warm smiles and we were very well looked after for the entirety of the meal. The staff are extremely kind and welcoming. The food was exquisite and great value for money. We will try to come back before we fly home!

The food was insanely delicious!!! Definitely worth it! There’s no food menu, you pay 25€ each and they start bringing you 11 different meals for all of you to try from. We chose the meat option but there’s also a vegetarian one.

The idea is great. You don’t need to order something… they just bring you some dishes (meze= tapas style). Haloumi was really good, the rest was ok, nothing exciting! Very high cost, around 35 euro/person (!) including water and a soda (no alcohol).

Best meze in our life experience. Food quality was really amazing. Our waiter Lefteris is so kind, has a lot of experience, notices every details. Soo we enjoyed this evening to the fullest. Thanks for everyone<3

Need to get here before 7pm. Very popular. Recommended by our taxi driver!! Only option available is the Mezza ... blown away by the quality of the food and how much you get for €25 pp. Waiting staff only too happy to discuss and recommend wines and to take group photos. Attentive at all times making sure glasses always filled. Highly recommend!!

Just wow! I can't recommend this place highly enough. Attentive staff, wonderful food and great setting. The mezze allows you to try everything and at just €25 per person it's extremely good value. Fantastic meal on our final evening.

It was amazing! Try to reserve a table asap! They are often booked! Was lucky to reserve a table for the next day after going without a reservation. The staff is very professional and friendly. Even my wish to have a better table with a better view was quickly met. Make sure to book a nice view table it's worth it! There are no food options here except for vegetarian or meat. The rest they will take care of and you will be pleased. Taste buds were very happy. Go very hungry you will get a lot to enjoy for 19€

WOW is not enough to describe the place. Astonishing settlement and views from the terraces, welcoming and very understanding staff, convenient prices and amazing food. Nothing to add! Definitely coming back!

Can't comment on the food as we only had a drink but I can say the iced cold chocolate drink was just what I needed on a hot day. Don't usually like chocolate drinks but this was lovely. The view was spectacular and the restaurant itself was so pretty. It felt like a living museum. The furniture was stunning (antiques), the ornaments around displayed beautifully and the loos were special too. If i lived in Paphos. This could quite easily become a place I frequented

What a little gem of a place! The setting is just perfect, has an old fashioned warmth about it! Full of character. The food was just so yum and very traditional. The portions were more than enough!We were so lucky to get a table without a reservation, was the perfect end to our stay in Cyprus :)

We had the mini meze selection. The vegetarian option was delicious. Perfect portion sizes and mix of dishes. The feta salad with the dressing was really nice. Staff are so welcoming too.

Had a wonderful dinner here! The staff were so friendly and attentive. They explained everything they were feeding us and made sure to distinguish which dishes were meat and which were vegetarian. The food itself was delicious, a highlight of our stay here in Cyprus. I also thought it was very reasonably priced given the quality of the food and the amount you receive. The restaurant itself is in a stunningly romantic location which only adds to the experience! Will definitely be back!

Must do! The quality of food is excellent. The service is very friendly and they make you feel home. 10 days in Cyprus and we haven't eaten so well anywhere else until now. Definitely check it out!
