We absolutely loved our entire experience at the Ocean Basket tonight. The food was phenomenal, absolutely spectacular, freshly prepared and SO delicious!!! We had grilled octopus and fried courgette sticks to start with and the famous fish and chips and shrimps and calamari for our main dishes. Absolutely delicious!!!! Our waiter for the evening Amir, was knowledgeable and made crucial recommendations that made our experience so much better. He has recommended the rainbow frozen smoothie and that was a true delight, as well as he recomended to have the calamari grilled instead of fried and that was SUCH a great recommendation. He was SO great and helpful. We will definitely be coming back!!!

A fish lover place !!!👍We ordered a ocean platter and prawns special and it was too good for two of us. We were served with few bread slices as starter and it was good, the sides were mayo,butter and spicy green chilli mix with vinegar 😋. They do have sushi's which we realized midway. Next time !!! Staffs are great - 4.5 rating Ambience- 4.5 rating ( option to sit inside and out) it was too windy and cold , so choose to sit in. Covid safe - 5 rating ( good distancing between the tables) Capacity- 50 to 65 ppl

Came here as a group of 8 with no booking and got seated. We ordered a bunch of dishes to share (two portions of each as we split the sharing into two groups). The courgette (zucchini) fries, creamy prawns and muscles were very good and I recommend getting them! We thought the small fried fish would be more crispy. The seafood platter was good, the prawns came served over a bed of rice. The fish was quite dry. Overall a very filling meal and satisfied diners.

They provide big portions and okey taste food. But I for it a bit strange that food wasn’t presented the same way as on a photos (menu). And! we were super disappointed with our drink. In menu it says “Smoothie” and that what we got! Just a slush puppy with syrup! It wasn’t written in description at all. Just a fake name. We asked for a water to add in this super sugary drink. Wouldn’t recommend it, when you get tricked like that! Likely we found a place with a real smoothie

Ate here twice. Amazing food, fresh and deliciously prepared. Tried calamari once and salmon steak on the second occasion. Great portions, recommend ordering a small side salad as well. Comes with fresh veggies… Staff super nice and friendly.

A staple of any of my visits back home. We usually go for the big deck platter (which is excellent) but this time we got the smaller, 2 person platter. It was great, love seafood, the rice mixed with their garlic butter sauce is just so good! We also got some sushi which is way over the top, a family favourite. Quick to sit us down and bring the food.

Dined here 2 times and the food was great and customer service was outstanding. We had cod & prawns, village salad to share and sushi. The portions were great size, you could choose between rice/fries/salad to go with the fish. loved our experience and would come back again.

I personally liked this place as I love seafood. We had seafood platter for two and sushi platter. Ok it was honestly too much food lol including a bottle of water it was €50 for whole thing and I think that’s very good price for this potion. I think it’s better if you go with more people so you can try different things. Service was very friendly and attentive. Absolutely nothing to complain for. Covid measures are well protected and everyone wears masks and socially distanced as well.

I was looking forward to trying this place out as many of my close friends come here whenever in Cyprus. My experience tonight was very odd though customer service was completely off and unwelcoming at all! felt like they were experiencing issues in the back of house. Completely ignored on the table, forget that we were there at all! Food was generally good (prawns though were overcooked and really dry) in the end it was the service that really ruined the experience for me.

A fantastic meal and experience. The wine was very high quality and also very reasonable in price. The sushi probably the best we’ve ever had. Our waiter Ioannis also went out of his way to make our meal special, really excellent service! Would 100% recommend!

Cannot go wrong with this place really get what you pay for food is great value for money and top quality. Would recommend sharing platters for couples or groups. Close to many other bars and restaurants is perfect if you are staying at the Avanti village or any other close by hotel/resort.

Absolutely amazing seafood place. Everything was cooked to perfection. I had the Platter for one, halloumi pieces and a KEO beer. They brought me some bread and some dips as a starter which were very nice. Poliksineya was very kind and made sure everything was perfect. Will certainly be coming here again, both for the great food and very friendly staff

Best seafood plateau i ever ate. The shrimpss and calamari were top, also mussels and fish was really good. Rice and chips were average but overall everything was good. Fair prices also. Staff was friendly. I will eat one more time before i leave

The food was increadible undoubtedly since I love seafood as well. I can recommend platter option to be ordered since it consists all type of seafood inside. Big place with extremely fast service, good choice of see food and nice atmosphere. I took prawns & mussels with mix of rice and fries. I really enjoyed my meal. The mussels and sauce we very testy. I prefer peeled prawns, but those were cut and opened at the middle which required some mess around, but still worth it. We were 11 diners. All plates came fast and accurate. Each one of us was satisfied.

We got a coupon for a "Spring Special" (shrimp and calamari heads, with fries and rice) from somewhere in town for 9.90€. It was delicious. Large portions, friendly staff. The food is not as much fish-like tasting as it is savory and fatty. To me it is comfort food but in a good way. Very delicious, would come again!

We had our best meal in Cyprus here. Very friendly and welcoming staff, fresh and scrumptious food with reasonable price and lovely ambience. A MUST COME if you visit Paphos.

Even though this is a franchise I loved the food ! The oysters were the best thing on the menu. They were so fresh and are taken out of a tank in front of you ! The Prince prawns were cooked nicely but nothing mind blowing. The mussels with lemon and garlic sauce were ok. I liked how big the mussels were but the sauce was a bit too heavy for me and you couldn’t taste the lemon. The grilled calamari was cooked well but was very under seasoned. The only reason this place gets a 4/5 is because of how good the oyster was !

The worst food experience I had in my life! Me and my boyfriend came here to celebrate my birthday… appeared as the worst decision I’ve ever made. The food came like in 2 minutes after we ordered.. and what a surprise! It wasn’t just not fresh, I was like stale...sushi were so bad, no words can describe that taste.This food can not be eaten. Thanks for the unforgettable experience. Never again! We left almost everything untouched.

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had for just €7, the fish isn’t oily and the chips are delightful. Portion size is very generous and filling. Highly recommend. Came back on a Saturday and unfortunately the food took forever to arrive, therefore a star has been deducted.

Great place for fried seafood. No reservation needed. We arrived around 6:30pm and there was many empty tables however when we left it was super busy. Food was tasty and the portions are big. Friendly staff too. Easily accessible. Only downside is that the outdoor seating area is filled with many cats trying to eat your food. One was even trying to get on the table.
