Gourmet Taverna is a game changer. Starters, mine courses, drinks, wine. Everything was just perfect. But what makes the atmosphere even more memorable, are people working there. The staff is just exceptional. I did like the fact food is balanced mixture of tradion and modern influencees.

This was definitely one of the best dining experiences I had in Cyprus during my holiday. Lovely atmosphere to sit outside by the fountain. Staff were very friendly and quick with service. I had the Kleftiko and my girlfriend has the seafood risotto. Both were incredibly delicious. The lamb literally just fell off the bone. We also shared the chocolate lava cake which was phenomenal. Absolutely recommend for any visit to Paphos

A really beautiful dining experience, loved all the dishes we've ordered (sea food risotto is a Milanese style risotto that you should try!). Friendly staff, would definitely visit again each time in cyprus

This is by far the best restaurant we tried in Pafos. Excellent local dishes with fresh, high quality ingridients. Super tasty starters, great main dishes and desserts. Highly recommend.

Our first impression of the restaurant was not very good because when my friend and I sat down at a 4-seater table, the waitress asked us to move to another 2-seater table despite the restaurant being empty and remained empty until we left. Despite this first impression, we stayed and had a very nice evening. The food was excellent (I ordered the rib-eye steak with mushroom sauce and my friend ordered the Norwegian salmon). The chef came over and talked to us about the preparation of the steak and was very nice and talkative. The other waiter who brought the entrees was also very nice and friendly. Therefore, despite first impressions, I give the restaurant 5 stars on all the criteria rated.

We were struggling to find a restaurant as we thought we were going to watch the sunset so tried to eat early however just sacked it off. We were looking at reviews and not many seemed right apart from Gourmet Taverna! Great service and very friendly staff! I had prawn linguine which was perfect but my mum had a seafood salad and my dad had stifado! Very nice place to eat, great food, lovely view of the sea and friendly staff! A great place to eat if you want to spend a little more money!

Fairly busy when I visited, all outside seating either taken or reserved. Had a very tasty salmon meal. Good service. Popped into Nero’s afterwards which is directly opposite.

Delicious! It’s not a cheap place but at least good quality and delicious food. Everybody there is very polite

Wonderful service and food. Big portions are served. We ordered grilled calamari, seafood risotto and suckling pig. Red house wine tasted real good. We were given tasty complimentary from very pleasant servant.

Great food and atmosphere, generous portions and attentive service. Would give five stars based on the strength of the octopus alone, very meaty and not a hint of rubber. We also had the Moussaka and Lamb (Kleftiko). Both were good, but in retrospect would order something more interesting. Be warned the Moussaka is heavily spiced (lots of cumin, not a bad thing) and potato heavy. Lamb was decently tender but could have done with some more jus. Can’t comment on desert because we were too full to finish our mains!

The food is absolutely amazing. The staff are very friendly and become almost family by the end of the evening. You are not rushed and can be as quick or as long as you want. Will definitely recommend it and come again. The Lava pudding is to die for you never want it to end

Very good cyprian food. The best halumi I tried ever. Very good spaghetti with prawns.. Good white wine per glas.

The food was just incredible. The service from start to finish was heartwarming. All the staff & waiters were very friendly & very helpful. Our hostess went above and beyond to offer us fresh fruit on a complimentary basis as well as some additional wine on the house! Exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend.

The best lamb I ever ate, most delicious, tender, full of taste, I guess I'm still dreaming about it. Also the portion is huge yet very fairly priced. I was also impressed by the staff, they were professional, friendly but not in the sleazy intrusive way, they were simply nice. The waiter also gave us breakfast place recommendation that was also perfect. I'm still sorry we only went for one dinner, the other place was not worth it.

Superb restaurant. My partner and I visited twice as the food was so good. The lunch menu for two people at 25 euros is outstanding. We had the pork meatballs and the moussaka. Unbelievably good. Everything is homemade including the warm crusty bread. The lunch menu includes Greek yogurt with honey. Amazing. We returned for a third visit the day we were leaving but unfortunately it was closed due to a national holiday. I fully recommend 'GT' 🥳

Had my birthday dinner there and I did not regret my choice. The food was delicious! Service and the hostess were excellent.

Food was good and service was ok. Prices were equivalent to other restaurants in the area. Sitting outside the view was nice of the harbor. Pleasant place to sit and relax.

Place is welcoming, stuff was the friendliest and very patient, food was very delisious, sheff took care of guests too asking how is the food. We ate amazing Fish soup served with fresh baked bread. Prices are reasonable, totally recommend!

Great Tavern with high quality local food. It’s not cheap but worth it. Service is super-friendly. Have to visit if you are in Paphos.

This restaurant was recommended by people staying in Dionysos Hotel and what a treat it was. Huge portions and very tasty. My son had succulent pig which was amazing . I had salmon and it was so tasty with plenty of veg I really enjoyed the food. The staff were all lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. One of the best restaurants around the whole area. Well worth a visit. I will def go back to it just wish I had discovered it earlier on holiday,
